I feel like an underrated card that nobody talks about is farfetchd, 60 hp is just good enough to tank a hit from most pokemon with one or even two energy attached, and with 40 attack, it can dish out serious damage while you set up your bench pokemon
It’s alright, but you ideally want to add cards that work towards a particular mechanic in your deck. It’s a fine choice while you’re still building a deck and in the earlier solo battles, but it gets outpaced fast and can become a liability if your opponent has anything other than a bricked hand turn 1,2,and 3.
I think the current meta only has 2 type of strategy : 1. Beatdown with low ( 1-2 ) cost energy 2. Defense and ramp ( adding energy to certain pokemon while evolving ). That's why in 2nd strat, card like : Misty, Moltres EX, Brock, Gardevoir, Liligant, is a must have on certain ramp deck.
@@zanosolfox You can also drop liligant's entire line in favor of Exeggutor ex for a bulky low cost attacker that only needs one energy. Gives ya lots of time to set up Venusaur
Porygon has become a favorite of mine for its Data Scan ability. All it has to do is squat on the bench for the whole game letting me know what I’m about to topdeck next turn. It’s great especially late game, there’s been a few times that Data Scan revealed a copy of my Charizard EX for the Charmeleon I’ve been pumping up on the bench, so I know I can start moving towards closing out the game. Other times it can reveal a Sabrina, Red Card or X-Speed so I can strategize for the next turn. Before I even think about conceding, I activate Data Scan to be sure that the card I need won’t be in my hand next turn.
Ive been using Articuno+Tentacruel/Frosmoth since i began because of how my opening went, and ive gotta say the biggest issue holding tentacruel back is the fact it dies to Pikachu EX in 1 hit.
@@robertsiudak8507 kinda late, but I had this problem too with my artículo deck. Try this though: keep frosmoth and use rarely when you want to stop a pokemon and stall (since he can put them to sleep. Works great on mewtwo). Swap out tentacruel for starmie and some staryu. Starmie ex is such a better alternative to tentacruel. I believe starmie has more health, deals an insane amount of damage, and even though it’s a ex pokemon it’s retreat cost is zero so if he gets weak it’s free to take him out. I’ve been destroying people ever since this setup, I think it’s underrated.

my personal favorite game finishing strat is to have a Grimer on bench, put out Weezing, building up the Grimer in the background, on either the opponent's last pokemon(or second if they have an EX), poison with weezing, then use Koga to bring in the Grimer, evolve to Muk, win the game.
The problem is if you want a competitive Water deck, you need to open two types of packs, or all three. The only viable one-pack Water deck is Starmie ex + Greninja. I've opened well over 100 packs, split across all three, and I still don't have all of the pieces for any competitive Water deck, not even Starmie ex + Greninja. Water is definitely the most P2W archetype.
@@TheMaplestSyrup rerolling means that you can open around 30 packs in one go. That could be enough to guarantee two or three different rare cards that you want (or four or five if you're really lucky), but it certainly won't guarantee two copies of each desired card. The odds of a specific EX Pokémon are like 1/40 or 1/50. I've seen people say that they rerolled dozens of times across multiple days just to get that small handful of specific cards. To me that sounds like spending too much time for too little reward. Then once you stop rerolling, there's no guarantee when you'll get the other cards that you need to finish a deck. So let's say that on one reroll you end up with one Mewtwo EX and one Gardevoir. It may be another 50 to 100 more packs before you pull a second copy of either Pokémon or both. And you really need two copies of both or else the deck won't be competitive. Charizard EX needs Moltres EX, and that's even harder to to pull because EX Pokémon are rarer than non-EX Stage 2 Pokémon. Both Mewtwo and Charizard are one-pack decks. For a two-pack deck like any competitive Water deck, you are half as likely to get what you need through rerolling. Sure you could get cards through Wonder Pick, but you could be waiting days just to get a chance at a card that you need, and you could pick the wrong slot, meaning you'll have to wait potentially more days for another chance. So even if you rerolled your account until you got a Starmie EX, it could be multiple weeks before you get a second copy through a booster pack opening or through Wonder Pick. Meanwhile, you still need to get your hands on two copies of Misty and two copies of whatever other Pokémon you want the deck to have, be it Greninja, Articuno EX, or Blastoise EX.

I’ve pooled 3 starmies ex but I can’t use any of them because I don’t got staryu 😭
I hate that I got immersive charizard day 2, I can't use it because I don't have charmander or charmeleon and it's the one I wasn't intrested in. And I hate it even more after that I got moltres ex alt.
Just pulled Mewtwo Ex with the immersive art!
@@In2netDave SAME!!
What about Blastoise ? 😢
What about Arcanine ex ton of hp does 120 per damage only cost 3 energy.
Yo when does this game come out in Australia?
The Venasaur ramp deck with Lilligant seems so unfair…the heals from the grass supporter plus the potions is just gross.
I will make mewtwo deck😂
Notre Dame head Coach Marcus Freeman beat Indiana 21 days before his next birthday and he advances to
the “Sugar Bowl” and “Sugar”=21
what about Clobbopus?
I pulled an Immersive Art Mewtwo and Immersive Art Charizard IN THE SAME PACK. We going to the bank with this one!
From which pack?
@low_tempo_ Charizard pack everytime brutha! Rolling in that gold card goodness! Woo-hoo!
I pulled two of the immersive mewtwo in a 10 pack pull one right after other pack
Those 2 are in different packs, stop lying😂
I pulled two crown charizards in my first 100 packs 😎

What about pokemon ctg live?
I keep pulling from pikachu bc I need Zappos ex and I need one more misty. But I’ve pulled like 6-7 wigglybuff ex 💀
I gotta say, melmetal is disappointing. It really needs more energy support than meltan's attack
Wait Clefable and Eketrode aren’t stage 1
Edit: srry I’m confusing evolutions with basic/stage 1
sleeping on the nidos 🙏🙏
i cant enter the game for mantince when will at finish?
October 30th or 31st, this question gets asked way too much.
hello guys, today i finally downloaded pokemon poket and i was so excited to play it, but after i downloaded the app and i open it it crashes and it turns black and white while it flickers, what can i do? do i need to change some settings on my phone? i'm on redmi 8 pro
@@breakthelimits4980 same, the app just show up black & white when i want download data, and after that crashes
Me too. the app just show same thing when i download data, after that crash
Exeggutor EX's attack is a lie. I think out of 50 attacks with it at this point, I've only flipped heads 5 times.
Imagine having 2 greninjas out
dragonite my number 1 deck so fun to use i got 80 win rate when use it only when i use when rng give me card i am not ready for
they keep saying exeggutor is a good card and i kinda see why.
however i'm really not a fan of coin flipping cards. like, i don't know if my game is rigged or what but usually it's tails all the time for me. like, this morning i played 3 matches with this thing and i only got heads once out of all the 3 games, resulting in losing big time when odds where all in my favour.
plus, while it's true that it's pretty fast to set up, it's also true that it's very expensive to retire, exposing yourself to situations like the fucker not dealing any damage, and getting killed while stacking up the energy to retire it, while giving up 2 points out of three.
