- In this video, we will showcase a new card from the Mythical Island mini-set: Chatot. Chatot helps us draw a lot of cards, making it easier to search for our Dragonite evolution line. Every time we draw the Fossil card, we'll discard it immediately to prevent drawing it again with Chatot. This deck is so much fun, and I would highly recommend you try it. Thanks for watching!

@@machpower3074 Sabrina is pointless, as Dragonite targets their whole board (potentially) anyway. Pokedex isn't a bad idea, as you could see if a Research is worth using or if you should cycle out your whole hand with Chatot.

Nah, main concept of the deck is to dump cards and draw fast. That the reason u put chalot for the ability. If u put drundign, u wont be able to use chalot ability

Been recently watching some of your videos. Btw very creative strategies! I also noticed you put Yami's theme from Yugioh duel links as the background music XD. I feel like a lot of old duel links player or Yugioh video game players have pivoted to TCG pocket. Keep up the good work!

the BEST!!!!! version of the Chatot deck is to combine it with 2-3 fossils instead and 1-2 of either regular Aerodactyl or EX because they both are 1 retreat cost and give you extra health also have a move/ability that helps stall time.
And you still get Chatot 50% of the time since Arrodactyl isnt a basic pokemon. This deck takes the best qualities of the two best Dragonite decks Mewtwo/Chatot thats why in my opinion its the best Dragonite deck.
With the extra health pool you don’t need potions as much so combining EX Aerodactyl with Hand scopes and red cards lets you deny their evolution. And to counter Chatot people will just use all of their cards, red card protects you from that because you can force them to 3 it does give them cards though.
P.S. you usually only need 1 x speed so if you wanted to make room for fossils, red, scopes, i would get rid of that after potions 2 speeds works great too though.

I recently able to make a dragonite deck and I have to say this is actually quite a smart deck. Instead of druddigon using fossil and chatot to decrease deck size for faster draws is very efficient. However giving energy to chatot will be a disadvantage because dragonite cost quite much to attack

I thought of similar deck list, but i think having blue and druddigon really helps stall out but this looks interesting too

Ive just played 4 games with this. I love it. Fast dragonite. Only problem i have is im always giving up 2 losses for about 1-2 attacks. If you fail the first attack, then GG. Chatot and even dratini will last like 1 hit once the opponent has a very aggressive deck. So you have to believe in the heart of the RNG. Fun deck though

We saw how good Gyarados was with this so we got the Dragonite Fossil deck now 😂
Yeah, it might not be as good as the Gyarados one, but it's so fun to try it with Dragonite too 😂
It's always lovely to see new dragonite decks, yet I believe the main issue of the dragonite deck is merely the energy system. Getting 6x water energy back to back and not having electric is very annoying.
agree. maybe a card that can generate specific energy might help in the future 🤔
@@LuckycadImagine if we get Lance as a supporter card attaching a Dragon energy to a Dragon-type Pokémon, Dragon energy is every energy at the same time but one at a time, this would mean you can run Dragonite/Druddigon with mono-energy
Is only Dual Energy was different every turn instead of being random chance. Stupid game design imo.
There's also the part where you're investing 4 energy into the most RNG dependent attack in the game. Doing nothing from a coin flip is excusable when you're at least able to target a pokemon. Draco can just dump all 200 damage onto a 10HP benched mon 😂

the only problem in this deck is you dont have a tank thats why this fossil deck is much better than gyarados since you can use misty and it’s easier to build it
The other problem with this deck is that it contains Dragonite
This deck actually works better with Blastoise EX and misty

I tried a charizard fishing deck but it didn't go so well because charizard takes too long to set up

is there any reason for running fossils over other cards like red card and scope or even pokedex? i feel like fossils dont do so much compared to other cards
In case of sudden Sabrina, you can bait it while loading your Dragonite.
Fossils can be used as decoys so your opponent doesn't sabrina a pokemon you are trying to build up on the bench. You can also switch out your actives like with magicarp. It's a good idea to have them when you're running a deck with only a few basics. Red cards and all that would also be a good idea of course, and I would say a good balance of both is a great option too.
Red card will make you draw only 3 cards, you need more
It's because of Chatot, you use the fossils to reduce your hand size then use Chatot to mimic your opponents hand and draw more cards
You used fossil for chatot... It easily to get rid by discarding... Everytime chatot use mimic you shuffle all your hand cards... Your fossil didn't return to your deck... So the possibility to draw all the cards you need are way higher...

It's like the fossils, discard so that less cards go back into the deck with Chatot. Keep in mind Chatot decks are just fun jank decks
Put a Pokedex in there. Then you can scout if it's better to hold or shuffle.
In Chatot decks you mainly want to run Fossils and Items so you can trash them for more draws. X-Speed could be replaced with any other item card, but there will be times it’ll conserve energy and that’s more value than other item cards.
Nah this deck sucks. Can’t even beat Gyardos ex. No point playing. It’s just for fun and content then ok

fun deck but way to slow vs celebi decks and i hate losing to stupid coinflip decks so not gonna play this deck anymore, every noob playing celebi deck and i dont like losing vs 0 skill cause my deck is to slow. literally cant do anything against celebi even with 'good' opener u get destroyed.
