Best midfielder in english football history for me, one of my idols and forever will be liverpools greatest
The best midfielders would be the ones that have led their clubs to at least one league title and multiple European cups, or the ones that scored and assisted more from midfield... there's loads of them.... Gerrard was bambi on ice
@@timmartin2894 bambi on ice hahah only reason he didn’t win leagues was the team he was at. Could have gone to real or Chelsea and won loads
@@timmartin2894 bambi on ice😂 Your deluded you mate, he’s one of the most complete players in history let alone the prem, and he didn’t win much because he was playing in a depleted Liverpool team and he was loyal to his club and wasn’t in it for the money and success, still carried us to a UCL tho. Put respect of stevie g
@@macca1626 ye but Scholes is better
@@TheTrend222 😂😂😂😂
Scholes😂😂
One of the greatest midfielders to play the game.
lmfao-so goo no titles
@@MarkSmith-er7fe so what ? Albrighton and kasper schmeichel have won a premier league bro stfu you little casual.
@@MarkSmith-er7fe he won a Champions League and 7 other trophies
I'm not surprised he picked Suarez. If he'd stayed in the prem for a few more seasons, he would have gone down as an all time great. One of the most well rounded and technically brilliant players of the last 2 decades
He's still an all time great, won everything there is to win with club, also the best Striker of current generation (arguable with Lewandowski)
He is an all time great lol? Literally won the treble with Barca
Absolutely steam rolled teams. Top top player.
@@kumarayush9950 He's better than Lewa
@@brrrrrtenjoyer I think Suarez has a higher prime but Lewa edges him because of his UCL record .. and yes I'm a Barca fan
Top men both of them. I saw Gerrard in one of his first Prem games away at Forest. 2-all draw, he came on as a sub. Everyone was 'this kid is gonna be amazing' and he turned out to be.
The respect Gary clearly has for Stevie is commendable.
Loved this Gaz! Stevie is simply everyman’s man. Would love to work for him!
Gary the gift that keeps on giving I'm a utd fan but this will still be an interesting watch after a tough day at work 😉👹👹
A legend in Liverpool
A God in Glasgow
Thanks for 55 stevie and puting us back where we belong 💪🏻 WATP 🇬🇧
he left and You’re back to second best 😂
lol in the farmers league pillock
Cringe !
Gerrard is a great speaker and was an outstanding player
Gary, i've watched Beckham's interview, Lampard and now Gerrard. By far these are some of the best contents on TH-cam. As a football man i appreciate your work, I'm loving these contents. Props my Guy! Keep them coming.
Can't deny Luis no way ,he was a force of nature that man
One of the best players the prem has seen. The fact he has insane ability and performed at a high level while playing with average players is admirable
The best, not one of them. Tv dictates who’s the best but don’t call it the premiership and you’d maybe agree !
Roy of the Rovers stuff that F.A CUP GOAL.LOVE STEVEN GERRARD FOR LIFE.Y.N.W.A FROM DUBLIN IRELAND 🇮🇪 good job Gary 👏 👍 you are doing some great stuff with The Overlap.
"If you've been in football"... you would understand the greatness of Messi & Christiano.
Solid take... we should all just appreciate that we could see them both in our lifetimes.
Already had huge respect for Gerrard, but now that he said he likes Coldplay, Batman and watches Top Boy, respect has hit max levels
Strange that Stevie says he'd love to meet Gervais/David Brent. He was managed by him from 2012-2015!
😂😂😂😂😂😂
Carragher and Neville really be bringing world peace to all England's golden generation past team rivalries lol
Steven Gerard the best football player
Yes Very creative input there
Steven Gerrard forever earned my respect with his opinions. Greatest player of all time - Lionel Messi (check), Greatest PL player - Thierry Henry (check). Couldn't have said it any better
Big respect to both men, both exceptional people who don't take themselves to seriously. I never knew Steve and Wazza were such great pals, but it does make sense, they both have so much in common.
Love Stevie, what a nice guy.
