Seeing the atmosphere here and just the sheer love and affection everyone has for each other is quite special. I used to properly hate Liverpool but as I age, I see them as a ‘rival’ and not as ‘the enemy’. The fact is this: you have a fine club and we will forever have a deep and fierce rivalry that I admire and appreciate. You’ll Never Walk Alone. What a legend of a player Stevie G was, a top top professional and now he's transfering that work ethic & drive into his management career. Every LFC will forever be indebted to Gerrard for literally singlehandedly carrying Liverpool for many years through some tough times and kept us in the top 6 clubs. We're all awaiting the return of the footballing Messiah to Anfield as Manager...⚽👑💯

As a Kiwi who player soccer at school in the 70's and 80's at school in NZ I grew up loving Liverpool back then.
This documentary shows me that Liverpool, the Family, is like the mighty AllBlacks.
There is a good reason why the AllBlacks are considered not just the best rugby team in the world, but the best team in world sport!! They are a very humble, family orientated bunch of people who know that morals and family values are more important than money and glory.
But those 2 things will come as a result of the wholesome values, a ton of hard work and of course amazing natural skills.

U gotta be lying if you say you didn't smiled all the way from start to end.
I did then got sad. It's the first time in years that I have been confident about a Liverpool team to really win the league (I feel that they've finally got that consistency in them) and other major silverware and Gerrard won't be part of it. It's still too early but this Liverpool team right now is really a force to be reckoned with.

I feel bad for Gerrard, because he didn’t really play for an elite Liverpool squad when he was in his prime. He only played with decent sides with another 2 or 3 big names. If he played in this team while he was in his prime, he could probably win the Prem
Andres Garcia He may not have had that success as a player but as a manager I have no doubt he will win league titles in scotland with rangers. Already here he is doing a fantastic job and demands standards from his players which hasent been seen here since the great Walter Smith was in charge. So I hope that he does have that success and if he was to go elsewhere it would be to liverpool and only liverpool after klopp has done his turn.

am from Newcastle, love and support the toon and am soo proud of the teams and players/managers we've had down the years but at the age of 22, as far back as I can remember Liverpool has always struck is as a family organisation, even before this video, it's a great club with fantastic family values and are things I buy into personally, treating people with respect, keeping your dignity, morals, standards and self respect I really don't feel these values are around as much as they should be in any walk of life now, let alone in football. When I was 4, 5, 6+ a never cheeked people up, would never think twice about mouthing off to kids that we're the age I am now but all you have to do is walk out of your front door to get abuse or cheek from kids and adults sometimes, so its always brilliant for me that clubs like Liverpool still hold all these values close by. I also think a massive part is being grateful for what life has given you, if your playing football even on a voluntary basis you want to count yourself SOOOO!!!!!!! lucky every single day in my honest opinion.

As a devout Man Utd fan since 1964, I can't praise Gerrard enough. Top footballer and leader on the pitch, and I believe he has the makings of a top manager. Good luck to him, he deserves it.
As a Liverpool fan, the thing that makes me the proudest of the club aside from any success on the pitch is the culture within the club itself. Humility and respect are at the core of LFC and that shines through at Melwood. In Jurgen Klopp, we have a manager who fits into that culture perfectly. I wish Steve G a successful time as manager of Aston Villa - after all, I think we all know what it may well be a stepping stone towards!

His upbringing at Liverpool FC along the Shankly lines an improved by Jurgen Klopp is showing fantastic results in Glasgow.
He truly is a mountain of a man and we at Rangers are privileged to have him.

Approximately 40 years ago. I Lived in the High rise flats opposite the Football ground At MELWOOD DRIVE.. I LIVED On the 14th Floor, with my parents and sister. It was truly AWESOME, to watch the football games from my highrise window. All of those memories have come flooding back, I have remembered those great times, since way back when. But today, I was watching a soccer match from my home. And the player was "GERRARD" An awesome guy, I believe.
