Hi, my name is Jen I am 44 and live in Connecticut with my husband and 8 year old son. I am a stay-at-home Mom and full-time TH-camr with a degree in business with a focus in marketing. Before leaving work when my son was born, I was a commercial lender at a bank. I also worked at Sephora and Macy's doing visual merchandising.
I have dry skin with some hyperpigmentation and fine lines. I love natural makeup looks but occasionally go outside my comfort zone a little bit. On my channel you'll find lots of videos about drugstore makeup and drugstore dupes (those are my favorites to film!) but I also review high-end makeup as well. Now that I'm 40...I love tarte. People complain...they do everyday makeup right, when I'm trying to do quick makeup at 5:45 am so I can go to work...I'm not thinking "oh if tarte only had an electric blue palette". NO! I'm thinking these shadows are easy to use and get me out the door.

This looks like such a Fall pallette for sure Jen your the second person who said it's the best that Tarte has made in a very long time so im glad to hear your saying it's a good pallette too.
Congratulations on hitting 100k! I wish Tarte would be more consistent in formula across their palettes. Loved the Be a Mermaid and Makes Waves Palette, but everyone I’ve tried after that is a different formula. I feel the same way about Too Faced. They did such a wonderful formula with their Chocolate Gold Palette and every other palette is just all over the place in consistency
Thank you Hanna! This one actually reminds me quite a bit of the Mermaid palette, especially the shimmers how they almost feel like creams.
I have the metropolis palette. It was gifted to me. It’s just too bold for me. This one is pretty. I saw it in Ulta. Just don’t need another high end palette. I find myself reaching for more simple looks these days. Great video as always, Jen.

I was blown away by this palette! I walked into Ulta and swatched it and was super impressed by the pigment and formula - I expected dry, powdery underwhelming but WOW these are rich, buttery and beautiful! It’s been a long time since a palette impressed me- I’m looking forward to fall eye looks with this beauty…
The print is the same as my hydrapeak water bottle so that drew me in. Your review definitely made me add it to cart.
I ordered last week and it came on Monday. I used my Ulta points and paid $19. 🙌🏾
I'm blown away! They're so soft and creamy. What a great, high performing pallet. 12 hours after application and the shadows were just as vibrant and stayed put.
My first thought was Makeup revolution. Not just the animal print but some MR have those shaped pans. (The forever flawless collection)
Tarte is really producing great product’s lately. I am loving the Maracuja lip plumping glosses as well.
It's a really gorgeous thing inside and out. I certainly don't need it or will buy it, but am happy to see it!
I’m limiting myself to 5 palettes per season. I just have too too many. This is one of them. I’ve always loved tarte. I’m so glad this is getting the hype it deserves.
That new Tarte palette is the most interesting one I have seen them come out with in a long time. I’m interested to see what other Fall palettes come out this season. That one caught my eye for sure. 🎃🍂

I have to agree; Tarte has always had great palettes. I find myself always using them over newer ones. This new one looks so pretty. Thank you for showing us the colors as well as your tutorial. It was also interesting to see the comparisons of the other palettes.

I am so happy that you did this video featuring this palette. I've seen a few other videos with people creating an eye look but they didn't swatch the shadows. Wow....those foiled shadows. I am DEFINITELY buying it. This is such a big step for Tarte. I am thrilled to see an e/'s palette with a little more color and texture variety. They did a great job! Totally worth the price. I went to ULTA to swatch this palette and the shimmers impressed me. Super buttery. Some are more satiny but overall, this palette is a good one.

I loved the comparisons - well done - I don't have that revolution palette but have to say...very interesting that tarte comes out with something so similar down to the leopard print embossing on the odd shade, and the color story is Very similar - an interesting "coincidence" , indeed :) this could be the pallet that brings me back to tarte eye shadows!

I haven’t seen this palette before now. I really like the shades! It seems like we’ve been asking Tarte for more colorful palettes for a very long time. I’m happy they are listening to us. I may have to pick this up. I love it! It’s really pretty.

I am really thinking about this one. It is getting rave reviews across the board. I do not normally gravitate towards these shades but maybe it is time to change that. i've just grabbed this today whilst it was on sale for £35 which IMO is so worth it, I was a bit iffy about the colour scheme being a bit old but i think you can achieve some great newer looks with it
