I mean...without the green, is it really that exciting?
The palette is really pretty but I'm starting to feel like eye shadows are just becoming been there and done that these days. This color story is literally everywhere. Not trying to be mean or negative. It's just not ..idk... Just feel like makeup brands need to take a break.

I totally get your point, it kinda feels like fast fashion. Nowadays I try to be more conscious while buying instead of falling for beautytok’s viral products. (though there are some that are worth the hype) And that’s why it’s so great watching her videos because I get to see how it works while not spending anything!!
Brands are stepping it up here lately with eyeshadow palettes. There is a lot of variety. I’m trying to hold off on buying makeup until the year end. Brands are making it difficult for me. Thanks for the review.

My favourite Tarte eye palette is the Tarteist Pro Remix. Only 2 lighter Mattes however I use it as a companion palette for Matte heavy palettes. That look is freaking beautiful on you. Inspirational!

The color story reminds me of ND Metropolis & Sunset. Alter Ego still has a Metropolis dupe (and a Bronze dupe), which would be interesting to see up against the Tarte. In general, I’m trying to watch these videos to get inspiration on using the palettes I already have (except, cough, PMG… and Viseart when they have sales)…

Sometimes what reviewers want in terms of pigmentation and what I want in terms of pigmentation are very different. Lol

Some of them I’ve seen, especially the green, people have used their finger or a wet brush and the green looked amazing.
Hi Morgan, I think this is a nice palette. I really enjoyed the Juicy palette. Tarte eyeshadow is not all that but I think the Juicy palette is much better. I like the eye look you did, it’s very nice and you used a lot of shades. Thanks for your review on this Tarte ManEater palette.
I'd love to say this is great palette, unfortunately I think it's a boring palette and repetitive.
This can be duped many times over (as can most palettes now).
As we've, probably, got every shade under the sun, the only things left are the formulation of shadows and colour stories.

at the beginning of this video I’m really questioning if you’re wearing base makeup or not.. your skin looks absolutely GORGEOUS.
Makeup Revolution had a palette called “Wild…” something, can’t remember. It was limited edition, and it was very similar to this one, down to the Leopard print packaging and shadow embossing.
I bought it and I love it. This reminds of the Urban Decay Vice palettes they used to release as their holiday palette.

I think a few years ago I would have bought and enjoyed this. For someone just getting a little more adventurous with their makeup, it might be exciting, and truly, that’s their main audience. To me it feels a bit bae Minerals holiday 2020. In the end, it’s a step out of their usual lane a bit for Tarte, but not enough to be worth the $52.
Wondered when you were gonna look at this one! It’s so pretty I love it. Swatches in the store sold me. The ulta girls said they bought one and love it. This one caught my eye in the catalog! It also came with a free gift! Also, other reviewers have done too. My swatches on my arm were more pigmented. I’d check it out for yourselves if you’re interested. No disrespect… I just saw better swatches and in person it looks better.

I love your earrings! I loved Tarte's Icy Betch palette and their blushes! This palette is too basic for me but my daughter may enjoy it. Cute autumn look!

So between this Tarte pallet and the Two face pumpkin spice second slice, which one do you like best.
I want this too. And the price isn't as crazy for all the shades as some of these other palettes. I love the colors and the packaging. I don’t buy high end eye shadow palettes. Any palettes it’s maybe 3 a year. I won’t buy it but I wouldn’t mind having it. Lol
If it’s the price, tarte has half off sales multiple times a year on their website. All my tarte stuff I’ve gotten half off
I finally ordered this and got it today and a few of the pans were all cracked up. The black especially was smashed up and flaking all over several other pans. It still looks beautiful, but given the price, I think I'm going to see if Ulta can replace it.
i don’t understand the palette theme if it’s their holiday palette, but to each their own ! as long as they’re improving their formula- who cares about themes!!!
My husband walked in while I was watching the video and thought that the pans were embossed with cartoon fried egg pictures 😂
I am purchasing 2 Chanel tweed eyeshadow palettes and Danessa Myricks Lightwork 4 palette.😫😫😫We not even into the holidays yet.
Spraying the metallics would probably make them less messy and easier to be precise with placement.
I got my Rephr Bogo Sale order yesterday and I am so happy with my purchase! Rephr even threw in a free eye brush, and it was one I didn't already own and had been looking at! I got several face brushes and 2 eye brushes and love all of them! Very happy to be expanding my natural hair brush collection!
I am going to buy this as my beloved bh cosmetics' formula is no longer the same.

When i saw this palette online i loved it. After your review I’m skipping it. Almost forgot i got the high tides with a super discount and I don’t use it. Too much fallout and the mattes are patchy!

I walked by this and looked at it tempted to get it. But the mattes seem super weak 🤔
The only thing I worry about is it’s made in Taiwan . Tarte palettes that I’ve gotten before that are made in Taiwan or China have a weird chemical smell .
I wish brands would take a break from releasing so much makeup because people are getting excited about color stories and products in general that look the exact same as everything else.

Personally I am so done with buying eye shadow for the next few years. The same concepts and same shades are repeating in every other brand.
I will wait till my eye shadows expire and are not usable then I’ll buy some indie brands

It looks OK but I'm not sure that we should get excited because this Tarte formula is good or at least better. The bar is pretty low if it is set at the usual Tarte eyeshadow formula. Kind of pretty to look at but I would never use the majority of the shades and the swatches were not impressive. I have enough makeup that wows me that I don't have room for something that is just ok. I have really been blah about makeup and since it is so expensive, I'm now only buying big "wow" and loves. No room in my collection for just ok.

Am gonna say I like Tarte I love the pallets I already have from them like Tate in bloom, Tasted, Tarteist Pro and Full bloom which is perfect for my pale skin tone....am tempted, but am gonna skip this one😊

Hi Morgan…….let me start with the positive….Tarte was the first eyeshadow palettes that I bought when I got into makeup. That was about 4 years ago. I have every palette Tarte as ever done. My first thought when I saw this palette on UTube was disappointed. The color story didn’t make any sense. All the fall out and hard to blend colors out will not suit beginners at all. To me the color story didn’t make any sense. It was like Tarte just threw a bunch of new colors together thinking no one would notice. I will not buy this plus the price tag is to steep for shades that don’t blend……and has way to much fall out……Judy D

I’m going to pass on this palette.
Not excited by this one. I don't really understand settling for less pigment or less interesting shades for "day to day" makeup. I wear exciting, colourful, impactful makeup every day and that's what I expect from my palettes!!
