If Tati's palette was still available, then I'd definitely think its wrong for Ccolor to make a dupe. However, now that its no longer available, i dont think its so wrong of them. Im sure it may be a little disappointing for Tati to see, but I think at the end of the day shes better than being mad about that. 🤷♀️ I couldn't afford Tatis at the time and really wanted it, so I might give this one a try. Its no longer on sale, but $14 is still a good price.
I agree...I hate when dupe brands steal from small creators (like when Revolution stole Manny's design) but in this case her business isn't even around anymore, so it's not taking money away from her.

I am thrilled that there is a Tati dupe. Her company is dissolved, finished, over. I absolutely loved her palette but some of my shades are almost down to the pan so I will likely pick this up. I know some people may not be happy that it is duped but I don't think it's unfair or disrespectful since her company is dissolved. I use her palette all of the time and love it so if there is something similar like this palette...then I'm going to go for it. Thank you for your amazing content. Very appreciated.
I have to agree with you here. It’s not like Tati is still creating the palette, or like this dupe is going to negatively affect Tati’s sales or anything. Her company is done, so I don’t think this Ccolor palette is in bad taste
Same here. I have hit pan on a few shades and my teenage daughter is so excited to be able to have a palette like mine since I’m hoarding mine and haven’t let her use it since it was not replaceable.
I'm interested in the Ccolor Neutrals palette. I don't have a problem with dupe palettes in general, particularly when the price point is so different, making popular color stories available to a whole other segment of the cosmetics market who perhaps can't afford high end palettes. I have a few Alter Ego dupes of Natasha Denona and Pat McGrath palettes. Usually I wouldn't be as supportive of duping a much smaller brand, like Tati Beauty, even if the original is at a somewhat higher price point. It's just different than duping a more established brand IMO. But since she closed down the business and her palette isn't available anymore, I don't have a problem with it at all. I had always meant to grab Textured Neutrals, but it was a bit pricey for me, and I didn't really expect her to go out of business... So I was waiting, in hopes that a future sale might coincide with a moment in time when I had a little spare cash. I figured it was a safe enough bet, being as that the palette wasn't special edition or anything. Now I am sad to have missed the boat and will definitely pick up the Ccolor version, even if it isn't a 100% perfect dupe. I really liked Tati's concept, with the differing textures within each shade range, and am bummed to have missed out on the original.
I really don't see a problem with ccolor doing the tati palette. I'm considering picking that up for my niece who is new to makeup. It's really pretty.

As a teacher and someone who was graduating with their teaching degree two days after the tragedy at Sandy Hook, the story of the toy closet and Caroline really touched me. I always try to give toys around the holidays. It’s something we did as a family when I was growing up. I was able to send some toys to the closet in hopes of brightening up the holidays for some children! Thank you for not only bringing great content but also sharing great causes with us!
That must have really hit close to home as you're preparing to be a teacher. I was pregnant with my son at the time and instantly felt worried about when I would have to send him to school. It was so heartbreaking. 😥

The pastor of my church was called to the school by the police and was with the parents when they learned what had happened. He still can't talk about it without his voice breaking. There's a documentary on Netflix about him and he said he has PTSD from it still. It's heartbreaking how many lives it affected. 😥

I've never heard of you but the DV palette looks really beautiful. I've never seen cool yellow (gold). I would like to try it but I'm based in Europe and we don't get CColors (except in TK Maxx). Also, not everybody likes highly pigmented eyeshadows, e.g. most SE Asian women don't. Sarah explained well in her video why she'd chosen shearer formulation. It's not a weakness.
Those colourpop palettes are absolutely magnificent 😻😻 I adore the fact that they’re not entirely monotone, there are similar/complimentary shades in there as well. The new glitter formula sounds amazing as well! ❤❤❤

I think you might like the etude house "soon jung moist emulsion". It's a lightweight basic cream that is thin but gives you the moisturizing effect of a thicker cream, it's quite unique from all the things I've tried. It's been amazing during the winter, I use it after my serum and before my moisturizer + SPF 😄

You can't really stop them copying but doubt if formula same (which you mentioned) . Personally it's probably pyscological with me but I begin to feel good just opening my ND biba palette before I even apply 😊
Jen and ladies, Benton also makes a wonderful fermented under eye cream that has greatly improved my concealer performance which I never expected since dry under eyes wasn’t my main concern to begin with. I just wanted help with my dark circles thinking better hydration couldn’t hurt plus I was out of under eye cream. It plumps up my under eye area and made my corrector followed by concealer glide on so beautifully. I was super impressed!

As someone dry skin, especially in the fall and winter, I placed a Kopari order and purchased the carrot oil toner from Amazon. You are the only TYer that I listen to when it comes to dry skin (body, hands, and face) solutions. 😂
Okay I do really love that Tati dupe but in all honesty the true Tati palette could never NEVER be beat...... because it was so .... phenomenal (just like u said) the glitters and metallics are my favorite two rows (top two) and of course the mattes!!! I don't care for mattes wit glitter in it but the ones on Tatis palette were STUNNING!!! I FEEL LIKE HER FORMULA IS AMAZING AND EVERY SINGLE SHADOW LOOKS GREAT WHEN APPLIED

I think that the ccolor eyeshadow neutral pallet is an option for people like me that we couldn’t buy the Tati pallet, is not the perfect formula but is the most similar 😊

Going onto Tatcha’s site is always a risk 😂 they do my ritual and I’m looking at a $500 bill, so I run away 😂 The fact that Tati eeked out the last time her palette got messed with has me curious about her reaction this time 🫣😂 the tones look better in hers, I think.
I'm pretty sure she made a video about this and was very sad at the dupe. I'd have to go back and make sure though. If I remember correctly she knew about this a few months ago.
@@melissaluvsplease1664 , I'm not sure why she would be upset or sad...if companies like ABH can be duped on a continual basis I don't really hear anyone asking Anastasia is she is upset that someone is completely "duping" ...aka, ripping off her work, her creative direction to come up with the colour way, the variations of shimmers to mattes etc. I'm not really sure I am a fan of the fact that companies can do this at all, if I am being honest, but, it would appear that there seems to be no longer any hint of someone owning their creative art work, their "concept" etc. I'm not a lawyer, but if it was in anyway illegal to come right out and literally make an identical palette that someone else has spent all the time in R & D , test markets etc before settling on the one that goes to market, then another company sees what a huge success it is, and says hey...we can do that, for a fraction of the cost. It used to be that concepts, or ideas were patented, and until that patent expired no one could make something that was "inspired" by that idea. It would appear that this whole idea no longer stands true, or perhaps it does, but only in certain product categories. Today we see someone come out with a very "iconic" style for their brand...one that comes to mind is Louis Vuitton came out a few years back with this bag they called the "multi pouchette" . It sold like a house a fire. It was a new and kinda cool design. A "purse" that was made up of multiple parts that could all be used together, or in parts, or used separately. By the next season every major fashion house was doing their version of that bag, a few years down the line and now it is super mainstream and you see brands such as Steve Madden doing their version of the idea of this multiple parts that can connect together in various ways giving the user lots of flexibility. It was a great idea, it has always made me wonder why the creative ownership of that design isn't held under a patent by LV for x amount of years. Like I said, I'm not a lawyer but these things are just things I think about. Anyway...I guess I've beat this idea out like an old rug, ha ha ...this is just how I see the whole thing around if Tati would be upset, if anything, I'd say she should feel honoured that someone felt she had a product worth replicating ..to be in the same class as someone who has been in the manufacturing business a lot longer like ABH or Too Faced, I think is a compliment more than anything else.

Because of you I just bought the blush from CColor. I loved the colors, how pigment they are, and because I dont have a lot of blush muchless in these tones.
I took advantage of the CColor sale and got a bunch of stuff, including the Tati palette. I've always been happy with their quality and look forward to trying it out.

I felt a hole in my heart to see the Tati palette become a dupe. The great things her brand could have become is what really hurts. I am glad others can buy it now that is no longer available. I wasn't interested in the colourpop vault but you got me interested!
The Tati palette is what I used on my wedding day. The formulas are amazing. I agree that the C Color doesn't compare but I don't think its a bad deal for those who wanted that color story and lay out. I really wish Tati would come out with another beauty line. That first palette was a home run for me!
I love the kopari ultra restore body butter. It works so well and smells so good. I never got the Tati palette. One of the ingredients was PTFE. Read some articles about PTFE I. Makeup. Just has me being cautious about it.
I'm so glad you showed that Benton toner! I love Benton! I've used their Snail Bee line and their Aloe Propolis gel for years but I never explored other items from them. The Snail Bee stuff is wonderful also, very hydrating as long as you aren't allergic to bees! I'm off to check out the sale!
I wonder if ccolour will bring out their version of cool neutrals? Because, or course, Tati sadly wasn't able to do that, and I was really looking forward to it.

To be honest I haven't seen any difference from using the Tatcha Essence. It might do something, I'm not sure, but the new MadeCera Double Essence I just got this week made a bigger difference in terms of hydrating my skin...it's amazing!

Excellent haul, the Tatcha products look interesting to me, I have tried samples from them before and was impressed, the price always kept me away, but with the sale I might check them out. I have been trying to avoid buying more makeup this weekend and focus more on home goods, so far so good, only did one order from Ulta during their sale, without spending too much.
Hi Jen, great video! This year my skin has really turned dry so I am looking for newer products to help moisturize it. I have the Cosrx essence, eye cream, and moisturizer, once done with those, I will probably try the products you mentioned. Soko Glam is a great site for affordable skin care. Sigma palettes are great, I and I'm on a low buy for eyeshadow palettes after all the sales!! Ulta had a great sale of Kopari on their site and it was better than what was on the Kopari site, so glad I checked both sites out. Have a great week!

Jen, I'd love to hear your opinion on the Whamisa Deep Rich line! I cannot live without the mist and toner; I've used Tatcha products before and, honestly, love the Whamisa products much more! They are pricier than most K Beauty skincare but worth every penny. I hope you'll try them out for us 💕

I think you might like the etude house "soon jung moist emulsion". It's a lightweight basic cream that is thin but gives you the moisturizing effect of a thicker cream, it's quite unique from all the things I've tried.
It's been amazing during the winter, I use it after my serum and before my moisturizer + SPF 😄
I was so excited that you compared Tati's palette with Ccolor! I personally won't be buying it but its nice people have an option. Great job as always Jen.

You can't really stop them copying but doubt if formula same (which you mentioned) . Personally it's probably pyscological with me but I begin to feel good just opening my ND biba palette before I even apply 😊
Jen and ladies, Benton also makes a wonderful fermented under eye cream that has greatly improved my concealer performance which I never expected since dry under eyes wasn’t my main concern to begin with. I just wanted help with my dark circles thinking better hydration couldn’t hurt plus I was out of under eye cream. It plumps up my under eye area and made my corrector followed by concealer glide on so beautifully. I was super impressed!

As someone dry skin, especially in the fall and winter, I placed a Kopari order and purchased the carrot oil toner from Amazon. You are the only TYer that I listen to when it comes to dry skin (body, hands, and face) solutions. 😂

Okay I do really love that Tati dupe but in all honesty the true Tati palette could never NEVER be beat...... because it was so .... phenomenal (just like u said) the glitters and metallics are my favorite two rows (top two) and of course the mattes!!! I don't care for mattes wit glitter in it but the ones on Tatis palette were STUNNING!!! I FEEL LIKE HER FORMULA IS AMAZING AND EVERY SINGLE SHADOW LOOKS GREAT WHEN APPLIED
Hi Jen, I so enjoyed this video and I love the Sigma palette and the Colourpop collection too. The skin care was very interesting especially the one in the heavy blue jar and it seemed to work so well for you and I have dry skin too. I have just made a Moira order, Juvia's Place has a great sale going and I received my Ulta order today. So I know I don't have to say more. I also made a visit to ELF too. I think that the ccolor eyeshadow neutral pallet is an option for people like me that we couldn’t buy the Tati pallet, is not the perfect formula but is the most similar 😊
Oh wow the ambiance palette is beautiful ...u said three mattes and three shimmer but there's actually four mattes and three shimmers which I'm glad about.....it's so pretty

The fact that Tati eeked out the last time her palette got messed with has me curious about her reaction this time 🫣😂 the tones look better in hers, I think.

I'm pretty sure she made a video about this and was very sad at the dupe. I'd have to go back and make sure though. If I remember correctly she knew about this a few months ago.
I remember a video of people who got a hold of her lab samples and were selling them off, but I haven’t been watching her for a bit now
@@melissaluvsplease1664 , I'm not sure why she would be upset or sad...if companies like ABH can be duped on a continual basis I don't really hear anyone asking Anastasia is she is upset that someone is completely "duping" ...aka, ripping off her work, her creative direction to come up with the colour way, the variations of shimmers to mattes etc. I'm not really sure I am a fan of the fact that companies can do this at all, if I am being honest, but, it would appear that there seems to be no longer any hint of someone owning their creative art work, their "concept" etc. I'm not a lawyer, but if it was in anyway illegal to come right out and literally make an identical palette that someone else has spent all the time in R & D , test markets etc before settling on the one that goes to market, then another company sees what a huge success it is, and says hey...we can do that, for a fraction of the cost. It used to be that concepts, or ideas were patented, and until that patent expired no one could make something that was "inspired" by that idea. It would appear that this whole idea no longer stands true, or perhaps it does, but only in certain product categories. Today we see someone come out with a very "iconic" style for their brand...one that comes to mind is Louis Vuitton came out a few years back with this bag they called the "multi pouchette" . It sold like a house a fire. It was a new and kinda cool design. A "purse" that was made up of multiple parts that could all be used together, or in parts, or used separately. By the next season every major fashion house was doing their version of that bag, a few years down the line and now it is super mainstream and you see brands such as Steve Madden doing their version of the idea of this multiple parts that can connect together in various ways giving the user lots of flexibility. It was a great idea, it has always made me wonder why the creative ownership of that design isn't held under a patent by LV for x amount of years. Like I said, I'm not a lawyer but these things are just things I think about. Anyway...I guess I've beat this idea out like an old rug, ha ha ...this is just how I see the whole thing around if Tati would be upset, if anything, I'd say she should feel honoured that someone felt she had a product worth replicating ..to be in the same class as someone who has been in the manufacturing business a lot longer like ABH or Too Faced, I think is a compliment more than anything else.

I did not read the comment thread here on this comment, but hopefully Jen explained what video I had watched of Tati's. She did make a video about her palette that she was not able to release and some people actually stole them and were selling them. I remembered the video as soon as I read Jen's comment back to me on the subject. Tati was most definitely not talking about a dupe palette. Sorry if I misspoke.

Because of you I just bought the blush from CColor. I loved the colors, how pigment they are, and because I dont have a lot of blush muchless in these tones.
I LOVE toner sprays!!I tend to not forget about toner if it's in a spray.
I took advantage of the CColor sale and got a bunch of stuff, including the Tati palette. I've always been happy with their quality and look forward to trying it out.

I felt a hole in my heart to see the Tati palette become a dupe. The great things her brand could have become is what really hurts. I am glad others can buy it now that is no longer available. I wasn't interested in the colourpop vault but you got me interested!

The Tati palette is what I used on my wedding day. The formulas are amazing.
I agree that the C Color doesn't compare but I don't think its a bad deal for those who wanted that color story and lay out.
I really wish Tati would come out with another beauty line. That first palette was a home run for me!
I love the kopari ultra restore body butter. It works so well and smells so good. I never got the Tati palette. One of the ingredients was PTFE. Read some articles about PTFE I. Makeup. Just has me being cautious about it.
I'm so glad you showed that Benton toner! I love Benton! I've used their Snail Bee line and their Aloe Propolis gel for years but I never explored other items from them. The Snail Bee stuff is wonderful also, very hydrating as long as you aren't allergic to bees! I'm off to check out the sale!
I'm always hesitant to try the Snail Bee because I've never been stung so I don't know if I'm allergic or not but my brother is. So I might be too!
The Steam Cream is fabulous! But I suppose maybe you could do a teeny tiny patch test, maybe?

I don't have a problem with the CColor pallet since Tati's is discontinued. It a good option who like the vibe but couldn't get Tati's pallet.
I wonder if ccolour will bring out their version of cool neutrals? Because, or course, Tati sadly wasn't able to do that, and I was really looking forward to it.

Look beautiful! I’m so excited to see what you got this week. I also have dry skin and I was wondering, do you think the tacha essence is worth it? The price tag, even on sale is a little scary. And I agree, I love the overnight cream.
To be honest I haven't seen any difference from using the Tatcha Essence. It might do something, I'm not sure, but the new MadeCera Double Essence I just got this week made a bigger difference in terms of hydrating my skin...it's amazing!

Her C Color palette reminds me a lot of the Red Panda palette from Endangered Cosmetics if it had married ABH's Soft Glam palette and had a lil' (or long) baby
Excellent haul, the Tatcha products look interesting to me, I have tried samples from them before and was impressed, the price always kept me away, but with the sale I might check them out. I have been trying to avoid buying more makeup this weekend and focus more on home goods, so far so good, only did one order from Ulta during their sale, without spending too much.
Hi Jen, great video! This year my skin has really turned dry so I am looking for newer products to help moisturize it. I have the Cosrx essence, eye cream, and moisturizer, once done with those, I will probably try the products you mentioned. Soko Glam is a great site for affordable skin care. Sigma palettes are great, I and I'm on a low buy for eyeshadow palettes after all the sales!! Ulta had a great sale of Kopari on their site and it was better than what was on the Kopari site, so glad I checked both sites out. Have a great week!

Happy Sunday, I always look forward to your videos. I’m I the only one who likes to put a toner on a cotton pad just to make sure I’ve gotten all my makeup off even though I do a 2nd cleanse.😂. Now the Tatcha sale was amazing this year, I think I have 3 orders I’m waiting on, ordered a few faves and some new things to try for my dry skin. Love the Dewy skin cream for my nighttime routine after my RetinA, wish that night cream had that little spoon on top.🥰
Jen, I'd love to hear your opinion on the Whamisa Deep Rich line! I cannot live without the mist and toner; I've used Tatcha products before and, honestly, love the Whamisa products much more! They are pricier than most K Beauty skincare but worth every penny. I hope you'll try them out for us 💕

I agree with others about the Tati palette. It’s not available - this is an option for those would want that set-up. More concerned that blush palette is a dupe for the Lunar Beauty ones. I get they all look similar but that was my first thought. ❤ everything Tatcha - just hate the price!
