YES! I've been to quite a few of these in Boston/Cambridge MA and Providence RI that open around 7 p.m. and everyone was adulting. Later around 10ish p.m., they open the doors for the general public aka of 21 and "whatever" That's when the majority of us "normal adults" who are mature and don't want to be around the riff and raff, ganip and ganops, aka youngings left. We'd been out dancing long enough! They actually have a sign outside that explains all that and why. Very colorful! 😁
Heating pads!😂 I would go, Maybe heated seats like they have at the movie theaters and restrooms like they have at Buc ee’s where the doors to the stalls go from the ceiling to the floor and your business remains your business!
EJ hell naw she said are are y'all going outside to fight? No y'all going outside so y'all can hear ! When Netflix finally give you your special, I can't wait to come to your club for 30 or 40 and over. Cause at this point what's taking them so long !?!?
I've been to a 30-up club before for a co-worker's birthday in Detroit. It was pretty cool. Dress code was no gym shoes, no sagging pants, and only women were allowed in wearing jeans.
Yes! Some people really do just want to go to the club to vibe and unwind. I miss when it was like that. I haven’t gone in years because I’m not there for flexin, fighting, or flirting. Or to get shot at!
Free Tylenol.... Buy two drinks...get one free Happy Hour is actually HAPPY! Still get up for church in the morning... Still get up for work in the morning... The attendants actually "say good night and be safe"... and mean it! Okay... maybe that's asking a lot from a club.
There’s a club like this in NYC. They don’t have age restrictions but they only play music from the 90’s and early 2000’s so when young people come in, they get confused and leave 😂. But most importantly, the food is delicious!
Yes, I absolutely would go to a club for age 30+. The club needs to have all sign & food menus in extra, EXTRA LARGE PRINT. And they need to ensure the temp stays at about 60 degrees cuz them hot flashes.… chile!!!!
Extra stalls in the ladies room because...bladders. Check-in for your high heels and complementary slippers because...bunions. And little dispensers of Tums and Gas-X pills on the tables because...digestion.
Not " go outside to fight but to hear"😂 i hollered!! Too funny.. I felt that because I'm in the 40s club and this is so us. I was at a family birthday party at a bar type establishment and that loud music a lot of rap music was too much and went outside to talk and/or yelling in my loved one's ear/ vice versa inside. Guess, I've entered into the " old people" stage where loud noises make us nervous. 😂
A place to take a nap in a clean, secure place… almost like a hotel . Just a calm place for me to eat by myself . Watch a little TV. Then to take an hour nap and get back home to my husband and kids. Classy though. Like a Korean Spa but my own room and key and room service just for a couple of hours.
I'm almost 50. Late 40's and over, hear me out: Recliners but those pleather kind from the hospital but more cushiony. So they're very comfortable but can be wiped down after each person. No fabric. Then add tray tables attached to each chair for food and drinks that are BROUGHT TO US because our standing and walking days are over. I mean, sure, if you want to shoot pool or something, that's on you. But the rest of us wanna hang out, eat, recline (toes above nose) and watch stuff on the big screens, or maybe projected strongly onto the ceiling or wall (none of this water color see through stuff no one can see). And maybe there's a separate section for rocking recliners that we can sit and rock back and forth to our favorite jams. Ain't no one getting up because all our knees and backs but we can swivel and sway in our rocking recliners. But, yeah, still keep that big clock up on the wall with the date so we know we gotta get home to take meds or those of us who plan ahead, can pop open that pill box or insulin and get our freak on with being compliant with our meds. And then, instead of a cover charge, we have automatic take home service so we don't have to drive home..drop off too so we don't have to drive there either and leave our vehicles when we get taken home. I wouldn't even mind ride sharing in a shuttle bus..shuttle me back home, walk me to my door. That's a club! ❤🎉
That front door pick up/drop off service...I am here for it!! Lol and I'm game for actually doing a little dancing while standing...just a lil. Maybe one of the old bus stops, electric slides. That Tamia dance would have me dizzy and falling, rofl....😂🎉😊
Yes and you covered pretty much everything lol...I agree that a club like this would be open from like 8pm-12am and be poppin while peaceful and respectful - love the blazer 😅 ✌️ ❣️🎯💯
It would have good food and comfortable chairs 😂 I aint standing and parking should be readily accessible. Also the music would be at a level where I can hold a conversation without yelling. Oh and a quiet observation deck bc I want to be entertained but NOT amongst the people 😂
I hadn’t been to a club in a very very long time but, if I still went to clubs, I’d think about going. But I know I wouldn’t go, because I like being at home. I would probably look at their social media pages just to be nosy.
There’s a old school party in south Florida that is from 5-10:30. They play only music from the mid 80’s to early 2000’s. It is the most amazing party. Everyone wears sneakers and comfortable clothes. AMAZING
Oh wow...the club of my dreams would have massage chairs, maybe in a quiet area so I can reset after sweating. Some church fans at the table or at the door. I love to dance but I have to take breaks now since entering the 5-0 club. I think I will start looking for these perks a the clubs in my area. I haven't visited any club for about 10 years. Thanks for bringing this video !!!
When I graduated from college and moved back home to NYC, I went to the older people parties because it was fun and stress free. Now that I’m well over 30, I go to Broadway plays at 2pm, dinner at 5pm and am home by 8pm 😂
Girl, you too many THANGS! I laughed straight through this! I’m 48, and you outlined why I stopped going to clubs around 34. For the record, how I know I was born 40, I skipped my prom to go to an all-night rave at an abandoned church. Now, mind you, this was ‘93, but I was the designated driver and made sure everyone got home safely. I kept my friend’s car overnight and returned it the next day.
This was quite common 25 years ago when I clubbed in Chicago. This is not a new thing. I wasn't 30 but was able to get in. 😁 It was chill and laid back. Everyone was there to have a good time.
Yes ma'm we got em here in Chicago...there popularly known as lounges...that's all I go to these days😂. I'm 46 I don't have time to be getting shot up by these dumb youngins
Yes I would. And yes, I've been to a club like this. Loved it. No news on the tv EJ. A whole lot of cadillacs in the parking lot. And suits galore. 😂😂❤🤭
In the DMV, these exist for the well-dressed hand dancing crowd with great music (no vulgar/profane lyrics, nothing that inspires twerking). And NO hip-hop.
When I was in my mind 20s, I use to go to a club like this. Then it was called "a hole in the wall club", never knew the real name. It was full of older people, good music, good food (hot plates), and I never saw one fight. I stopped going out out before I turned 30 so I don't know what's out there now.
It would have to play 80's and 90's r&b, all the men pants would have to not sag or be skinny, and there would need to be metal detectors cos the femicide rate is too high! Please and thank you❤
We'd definitely have candles on the table...real ones and cloth napkins. The menu is also in a slightly bigger font but there's a bowl of readers on the bar if needed😂
When I was in my 20s, my older boyfriend took me to a place we called the old heads club and it was everything. Loved the vibes. One mama was giving all the men a run for their money. I told her I wanted to be her when I grew up...
I'm a bartender who has worked in several different clubs/situations; some better than others. The thing that sticks with me to this day is before the establishment was closed is my customers from a specific weekly promtion t,argetting a younger niche. Mind you I am considerably old enough to their parent(s) loved but we found common ground and they seemed to love me unconditionally and it was up hill from there. And for that I'm grateful to have had that experience. That said; the last thing I want to do is to go to a club on my days off.
There are several clubs that are exclusively for 30 and over. Those are really the only places I like to go. It's a different crowd, environment and music! I Love Them!! They definitely have food, a bar, DJ, lots of seating, a dance floor, and an outdoor patio area of some sort. Oh, and the party usually starts around 6 because I'm usually out before midnight!! 😂 Midnight = 10 PM!!😂😂
I would go to this club because the music wouldn't be too loud and they would be playing 1980s- early 2000's music. U could order lots of caffeine-free drinks because I'm not trying to stay up all night, it opens around 7pm and closes at around 10pm or 10:30pm enough time for me to get home and get ready for bed.
"club My House!" The best in town. Eat what I want, dress 👗 like I want, free, safe. and nobody that I could have given birth to or old enough to have birthed me will be pushing up on me. 55 years plus is like that 😂😂😂😂
All my folks are 37+ and fun AF, but I'm 28, so I'd have to use a fake ID to get in. Now I'll get to experience the rush of sneaking into a place while "underaged" since I didn't do it when I was teen.
Yes. It will have enough chairs for the women to sit down. It would have real forks and knives for the food. You would be able to order a DD with a pick service for early morning to get your car before work.

Yes I love this idea. Less drama.
Yes! Some people really do just want to go to the club to vibe and unwind. I miss when it was like that. I haven’t gone in years because I’m not there for flexin, fighting, or flirting. Or to get shot at!
Free Tylenol....
Buy two drinks...get one free
Happy Hour is actually HAPPY!
Yesss cause the 20 sumthins be doin TikTok dances in the club now. I ain’t bout that life 😂
😂😂😂
If this club had a cute seating area where I could just sit down and read my book or just a quiet think area.. I'd love to go lol 😂
Yes, I absolutely would go to a club for age 30+. The club needs to have all sign & food menus in extra, EXTRA LARGE PRINT. And they need to ensure the temp stays at about 60 degrees cuz them hot flashes.… chile!!!!
"Welcome to adulthood, here's your heating pad". -Axl Rose, 2023😂
This club would have inflatable beds in the back because most of us can't stay up past 10pm. 🤚🏽ME!
Extra stalls in the ladies room because...bladders. Check-in for your high heels and complementary slippers because...bunions. And little dispensers of Tums and Gas-X pills on the tables because...digestion.
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 Too funny!
Complimentary slippers😂
Please and thank you 😂🤣😅🤣😂🤣‼️
Not " go outside to fight but to hear"😂 i hollered!!
I'm ready to recline, dine, and swivel to the 🎶
That front door pick up/drop off service...I am here for it!! Lol and I'm game for actually doing a little dancing while standing...just a lil. Maybe one of the old bus stops, electric slides. That Tamia dance would have me dizzy and falling, rofl....😂🎉😊
I'm 74 now but when I was in my 30s, I did go to those clubs. And, I did pass my business card around.
I like your club idea. You could call it Comfy’s. It would have lots of seating.❤️❤️❤️❤️
Yep. I'm not going, but I would think it was a nice idea
Don't forget the antacid behind the bar... for folks with acid reflux.... We gonna need that!
The resident drug dealer of this club pushing ibuprofen 800s, pepto, exlax, and icyhot
Yes!!! All the T.V.'s are on the News Stations!!!
When I graduated from college and moved back home to NYC, I went to the older people parties because it was fun and stress free. Now that I’m well over 30, I go to Broadway plays at 2pm, dinner at 5pm and am home by 8pm 😂
YES! -maturity makes a big difference in the atmosphere
I miss raves. 😌💙🖤✨
In Chicago if its 30+ most likely its a steppers set and its definitely gone be a good time😂
This was quite common 25 years ago when I clubbed in Chicago. This is not a new thing. I wasn't 30 but was able to get in. 😁 It was chill and laid back. Everyone was there to have a good time.
Your time line is spot on. I went to one in Acapulco & had the best time ever.
Yes ma'm we got em here in Chicago...there popularly known as lounges...that's all I go to these days😂. I'm 46 I don't have time to be getting shot up by these dumb youngins
Yes indeed!!! Ir would have no stairs because all of my friends have bad knees!!
Absolutely I would go. Even though I’m menopausing I feel like I’d like heated seats in there.
But...hip-hop is 50 years old🤔
@@KiraBKADestroyerOfWorlds Yes, but it does not make good hand dancing music.
The fact that this sign is new to some people is astounding
Sure would go. Especially if they have an HR lady or somebody to help me figure out open enrollment and these benefits options.
It would have chairs with lumbar support. Oh and a kiosk to buy ibuprofen, tums, and lactaid.
It would have a built-in pharmacy.
😅
And instead of a tattoo Booth it will be like a pain kit booth with pain patches naprosyn aspercreme icy Hot😂😂😂
In my area, there are plenty of 30 and up spots. I don't go anymore (because I'm a homebody), but when I was, it was nothing but fun and love.
I've been to a club that age minimum requirement was 35
When I was in my mind 20s, I use to go to a club like this. Then it was called "a hole in the wall club", never knew the real name. It was full of older people, good music, good food (hot plates), and I never saw one fight. I stopped going out out before I turned 30 so I don't know what's out there now.
After work party on a Friday. “Girl, your hair is so pretty”- I do that. And I may pop in.
If they got heating pads they gotta have ice packs to because my sciatic and the inflammation in my left knee be acting up randomly sometimes 😂
They use to have 35 and up clubs in Houston wns Dallas. We need our space and music. 🎉🎉
Yes chile. Cuz my foots and knees ain’t what they used to be. I need this kind of club.
Definitely have ear plugs at the door in case the music turnt too loud!
Midnight = 10 PM!!😂😂
Here in my state...city.... they have a grown & sexy plus dress code.... everyone having a good time
Girl you are hilarious!! And yes, I could do a grown folks club!!
55 years plus is like that 😂😂😂😂
⭐🌟
Thank you ❤❤❤❤
A couple of them TVs would have a crime channel playing.
Yes, EJ! We would definitely go to the club exactly as you described it!
All my folks are 37+ and fun AF, but I'm 28, so I'd have to use a fake ID to get in. Now I'll get to experience the rush of sneaking into a place while "underaged" since I didn't do it when I was teen.
Girl you got me hollering 😂
Yes. It will have enough chairs for the women to sit down. It would have real forks and knives for the food. You would be able to order a DD with a pick service for early morning to get your car before work.
You mean uber?
@@KiraBKADestroyerOfWorlds Nope.
I can't breathe 😭.....because I would be that person that would say did I take my blood pressure pill????...look what time it is🤣🤣🤣
I need the 50 and older club 🍸🍷🍹💃🏽🕺🏾 Open at 6pm close at 10 pm
Yep, would be right there with my flats on - and my alarm set for 10p.m. (dats my get ready fuh bed time)🤣☺
I'm 46, and I'd definitely go to this kind of club.
We have a bunch of these in St. Louis. Hell, I even worked at one in my 20's.
