With the 'can' opener- Reason you're getting bad results is the can has no structural integrity after the lid comes up and the pressure is released.
Take an empty can, cut the lid off with scissors, fill it with water, and try to simply hold it in the middle. You'll get why it failed.

That gadget for the washing up liquid.. A tip is to "thin the liquid out" (if you get what I mean) with some water. I used to have a similar one quite a long time ago. The liquid itself is often to thick to really go through the tiny hole. So I used to mix half liquid and half water. Worked like a charm everytime!

I actually watched Freakin' Reviews testing the original Draft Top earlier! The only real upside to that gadget in my opinion is that you can get all the liquid out for recycling.
And apparently there's a real learning curve to it and you need to hold the can either at the bottom or top (don't squeeze the middle) and release some pressure beforehand if it isn't working, but yeah, he was getting drink all over, too, especially when he pushed the can lids in, if he got them to open.
About the bag sealers, I think it really is a hit or miss thing, some seem to work, others don't.

Mrs. Barry's solution to the soap dispenser was to prime the pump. Ever watch an movie or show (such as LITTLE HOUSE ON THE PRAIRIE) where their water well was a hand pump that you pumped a lever up and down to bring up water? Sometimes the pumping mechanism would dry out and you could not bring up water, the solution for this was to prime the pump by pouring some water down it. After priming, the hand pump would bring water up easily again.
Same idea with the soap dispenser, it just needed a little water down the top of the mechanism to create a seal that allowed the pump to fully bring up the liquid soap. So if you have a liquid soap dispenser at home that isn't pumping properly, try priming it to see if it will start pumping soap again. I usually prime soap dispensers by pumping them under a steady trickle of water, generally only takes a few pumps after that to get it going again.

I’ve got an easy hack for opening jars. Just take a rubber glove that you wash dishes with. Grab it and cover lid and turn. Easy! I have arthritis and can open any lid on my own using the glove. Love, love, love your videos. You bring me so much joy with your silliness. ❤️

I also want to stop using sponges not only because of the plastic, but also because they are basically bacteria farms, but what do you use instead?

@@ellie.ivanova if you're only worried about the bacteria issue, just stick your damp (it must be damp, otherwise it might catch on fire) sponge in the microwave for 2 mins on high.

I am pritty sure you shouldnt push as hard on that can cutter, just a little softer presure and more turns without crushing the can and gradually add more presure, it should cut it like a copper pipe cutter works

I was always really skeptical of that can opener that turns a soda/beer in to a glass. Once you lose the pressure in a can they become super weak. I can't see how to get the leverage it'd need with out something running around the rim like a usual can opener.

I owned the same one when I was living in Korea. If you want to do the bag splitting thing you have to use the right plastic bags, they need to be really thin. Though I feel like that's a bit gimmicky and not that useful, it could be fun to see you try again 😂
