I've had a Viper Helmet for about a year but always had problems seeing the weld. Just tried out the Lincoln 3350. Love it. Great clarity and head straps fit nice. Only negative is that it took me awhile to figure out where the battery is installed/replaced. The manual sure helps figure that out. Suggest putting the manual and spare parts in the bag provided. This helmet is definitely a keeper!!!
I currently own the digital infinity but just ordered the 3350 4c but in Matte black! The infinity has been on my head for the past 3 years and it’s served it’s purpose can’t wait to try the Viking 👍
@@botsbass842 the digital infinity has a bigger Field of view but it’s basically the same the Viking is a bit smaller though! They both work good one thing though the Viking colo is blue and the digital is greenish
The issue with the Lincoln is the #1 reason why I buy local! Had a helmet with issues - they swapped it out without hassle. 3 Mule welding supply in southern Maryland.
agree %100......battery life is awful for 1 reason as i LOVE MY 3350(4C) vs my milller digital elite............its 1 battery....lincon vs 2 in my miller elite.....
I’ve had mine for almost 2 years and never replaced a battery or had it die. Try leaving yours in the light instead of in a bag so the solar panel can charge it up
I've used both and the lenses in both are pretty much the same depending on settings but Lincoln break 10x more than miller between lenses failing and headgear problems lol
I have a Miller Black Ops and a Viking 3350. The Viking is Superior in every respect. I gave the Black Ops to one of my students. He seems pretty happy with it. Miller has a way to go.
Lincoln sent me a new ADF, I am monitoring to see how long the battery lasts this time. Also when Im not using the helmet, I'm keeping it inside the storage bag.
I Ran the Speedglas 9100xxi for a year VS my Miller digital elite,the speedglass takes it......vs MY lincoln 3350(4C),,,,,,,no way dude...speedglass only allow make there goofy replacemanct front lens?.......pass..$$$$$$ .plus the color.......the 33504c/view/color.......CRUSHES the OVERPRICED SPEEDGLASS.....I CAN SAY THIS AS I OWN ALL 3..
@@theewelder I have to agree. The Lincoln is far FAR superior. I have had the Lincoln since early 2018. I also have the Miller, the Sentinel A50, The Optrel Vegaview. I like each for different things other than the A50 I'd rather weld with sunglasses than use it. The curved lens cover makes light bend strange some times. And at around $10 per replacement outer lenses cover it spends a lot of time on the shelf. The Miller has become my tig welding hood. The Vegaview itjas become a great conversation piece. 😂 The Lincoln 3350 4C is and has been my favorite. I did however have 1 problem without last year. I had sweat so badly and it dropped down on my ADL and it began to flicker. I changed battery and it did the same. So I pulled it again and noticed it was wet..I put the entire ADL in a ziploc bag with some of the packs of desicant. Like what comes in a bottle Vitamins. I put 1 inside the battery compartment and it was fine next day and has been even since

I have both I grab my miller everytime feel like the 3350 is more narrow view and more flimsy and I like the look better thru the miller
The video of the welding's kinda hard to really tell ,but honestly it looked like the Miller looked the best
Don't get me wrong, the Miller is a great helmet. I just think you get more for less with the Lincoln

I bought both. The Miller is good. The Lincoln is far better. I love the clarity, coloration and simplicity of the 3350. Miller has some work to do.

That's horrible that the provider would do nothing for the adjustment wheel! My local weld shop would have made it right.

I’ve owned lincolns and have had nothing but issues with them. The millers have always been way more reliable and that’s y I prefer them

I don't like how millers sometimes tweak out if I look at a light and sometimes just turn off after a weld weird to me 🤷🏿♂️

The fact you mentioned Lincoln’s customer service is enough to make me stay away. Millers customer service has ALWAYS been top tier.
It wasn’t Lincoln’s customer service. He said the dealer he bought it from was giving him a hassle. Lincoln claims to have hassle free warranty.
