Had mine since April 4 of this year and I love it. Most reviews/comparisons I see mention the lack of a turbo engine. The lack of the turbo is why I picked the Forester over the Outback. I’ve had turbos in the past and what I’ve learned is I don’t drive in a manner that works well with turbos. Specifically I drive mostly short distances in the morning for work. Turbos need time to warmup to operate properly. My last vehicle needed a new turbo THREE times within 6 years. A mechanic finally told me the why. Smh. Those things are EXPENSIVE!!!!
Only 2 full months in with my 2024 forester wilderness and the one and only thing I would change is having the cd player back like the older models had haha. Other than that, I love my forester! Its so comfortable to drive ❤
Glad that you're loving your Wilderness! It would have been nice to keep the CD player, but with the transition to the 11.6 inch screen in the 2025 Foresters, it made sense. They had used up all of the available CD player equipped head units and there was no point in ordering more.
@@johnw9177 according to Google: A CD player is an electronic device that plays audio compact discs, which are a digital optical disc data storage format.
@@AzatWilD I'd guess that it wouldn't. You could try, but I'm sure there would be a ton of technical computer stuff to do, assuming the vehicle has that capability.

What’s a CD player

Lol
@@johnw9177 You asked ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Hi, Tyson 🖖 please tell me, I have a subaru forester 2022 American version of Premium. Does this version have a driver monitoring system?
Based on what I know about USA spec trims, I'm guessing that it does not have it.
@@TysonTheSubaruSpecialist And if you take and connect an on-board computer with a camera, for example, like Limited or Touring, will the DMS work?
@@AzatWilD I'd guess that it wouldn't. You could try, but I'm sure there would be a ton of technical computer stuff to do, assuming the vehicle has that capability.
If you mean the eye monitoring, no the Wilderness Forester doesn’t offer that as an option. It has everything else though.
Didn't say the engine size?!
The Foresters come with the 2.5L NA engine producing 182 hrsprs
