Beautiful work I work animals in synthetic oil,and have used a lot of your technics, but haven’t admit yes you have taught this old dog a few very interesting tricks, thank you.
Thank you for continuing to share your fur techniques as they evolve. I’ve used your fur tutorials as jumping off points and have evolved your techniques to suit my own sensibilities and skills. I like seeing where we are same and different and will keep your tips in mind. Love your videos. Keep up the excellent work.
Thanks so much for your videos! I am an artist but haven’t done anything for many years. I feel a lot of anxiety about drawing or painting again. It’s because I am so hard on myself and too much of a perfectionist. I need to dive into it again. I have a gift from God and should not waste it. Thanks again! I love learning how to enjoy my gift again. ❤
Hi Linda. I too came back to my art in my early 40's. Not so much because of anxiety and perfectionism which I totally get by the way but mainly because I knew I was running out of time to do what I really loved. I was throwing out a heap of junk and when it came to my art supplies I just couldn't do it. So I started painting again and instead of being too hard on myself I just eased into a couple of really loose florals and before I knew it I was back! withing a few months I started taking on commissions with pet portraiture and other works. I'm so glad I did. Plus an added bonus was that I hadn't really forgotten much. My skills needed a good brushing up but they weren't as bad as I had thought. It kind of grows with you? Please start painting again you will be glad you did! You get to bring something into the world that never existed..... Good luck
This video is incredibly insightful! 🎨🐾 The tips on painting realistic fur are so valuable, and I wish I had known them sooner. Your explanations and techniques are really clear and practical. Thanks for sharing these helpful insights-my fur painting skills are definitely going to improve! 🌟✨
I always learn something from you. I have watched almost all of your fur painting videos and they helped my own paintings so much 😊. I know you’re changing your techniques and combining two mediums, and it does give amazing results. I however…feel like I want to prove to the world that you can achieve amazing results with acrylics only. Oils will be experimented with when my kids have moved out 😂
Tip for preservation is clear apoxy resin can also use it for framing the piece wouldn't risk it with oil as it could reactivate the colours if not 100% dry
I love your paintings so much. I can't describe it in words how beautiful they are. They take me breath away. The love you have for your incredible works always show through and are one of the reasons why you are the only artist i watch. It comes from your heart like a ray of sunshine. So like your smile. There is something so special about both. It soothes me and brings me back to normal in all the chaos in my life. Thank your for sharing your art with me ❤
Q: Wouldn’t a clearcoat sealer help longevity of your art no matter paint brand? Thank you for sharing. Going to try your technique tonight & see how it varies from my traditional method. 🙂👍🏻
When I paint fur my paint dry as I move to next and it is left with some very bold and some very smooth which trouble a lot .how to handle these acrylics??

Nice. Now could you do how you paint depth and highlights in eyes please. I'd like to see how you do it in acrylics if that's ok cheers.

Hey Daniel, are you letting the paint dry between steps or going wet into wet
Letting the paint dry, because its thinned acrylics it’s pretty much dry in a few minutes
@@StudioWildlife do you have an oil painting video of this process?
Thanks for the tutorial, my teacher 👍
Your paintings look like photos

I didn't know anyone did that anymore.
