  • This video will show you how to use the screenshot tool Snip & Sketch for Windows 10… If you want to take a screenshot in Windows 10 to capture what is on your screen, you have many choices. You could use the screenshot feature found in many of the top browsers, but these are limited to the browser window itself, or you could install a 3rd party program. There’s also the old Snipping Tool, but according to Microsoft, it will soon be going away. In this beginners guide, I’ll show you how to use its replacement Snip & Sketch. I’ll go over all of its key features showing you how to capture and annotate screenshots of anything on your screen.

I 'm totally new to the Snip and Sketch program and I'm glad I found this tutorial. It's a lot information at once and you talk quite fast.
I'll have to watch it a several times, before I'll be able to do the basic things with the program, and do some hands-on training.
Thanks you very much for sharing this video. It is a great help to start with.

I used to use Greenshot when IE was my main browser a long time ago. It's a shame they've never upgraded the scrolling window capture to work in other apps besides IE.
I use Snip & Sketch for 90%+ of my capture needs, else I find ShareX the best for advanced work.

"share files on a home LAN"
Does your router have a USB port? We use a USB drive in the router as our always-on file sharer. This avoids needing to share part of your own HD, and you don't need the other machine(s) to be switched on.

I don't want that gray matte coming with the image after saving it, because the image has been edited. when will that matte be removed and allow only the image your working with to appear so I can present it?
I went to the saved image that i edited and the matte appears around the image still at in your time line 3:52
