Releasing a Swift (Bird) from a High Building

Swifts are hopeless on the ground due to their underdeveloped legs and very long wings. They cannot take off from the flat ground.
We found (actually my dog did) this swift after a storm. He (or she) was lying on the ground helplessly. I didn't understand his species until I checked on the internet. It says you should release them from a higher point. So, that was what we did exactly.
All took place in Ankara, Turkey where we love all kinds of animals!
