I would ironically give it to his one thief seasonal alt. Yeah Sothe is just my favorite character from telius as a whole.

To my original Kagero. I had a life and death built on her, but I FORGOT to try to summon fallen Ursula for verge of death 🥲. I think I would change to Finish built instead.

I was lucky to get a free Sothe and temptation calls to give Bunny Ashe the dagger and Potent Disarm…

Honestly, looks like nothing much has changed from the tier list, aside from a few changes, this just shows that a lot of dagger units need a lot more in order to become more useful than just a fancy new dagger
Which is kind of why I get annoyed when the same characters get more love then they need. Unless you're a later gen, or if your name is Kagero or Sothe, you're pretty much out of luck.
@@ieateyescreamieateyescream4777 kagero sure but since when does Sothe get love he has two demotes and this is his first premium alt. If he gets a Legendary alt any time soon then fair enough.

Even if it’s good, arcane tempest still doesn’t wow me since dagger units aren’t very good in general, they’re kinda like worse version of bow units
Nice to see my Cath will be happy with this new weapon, and I so want to get another R!Sothe for my NY!Fafnir. Also, I really hope the next arcane weapon will be good enough for Saizo, or at least bump him up to tier 2.
Well my Volke is going to be happy with this new dagger, also rip Jakob for being stuck in tier 4 again...
I need to build up my Patty and if I get a Sothe, give this to her for sure
I am not sure how long it takes til Duo Lyn's refine, but this weapon suits her well. Her strength comes not from her prf. passive skill so there is little loss for her to use this dagger.
Infantries don't really need this dagger for TP or NFU, they have many other ways obtaining these effects.
Besides, when her refine comes, I have a feeling that this arcane dagger would already have fallen behind.
Just gave it to Legault a bit ago, can't decide if my second goes to Patty or Cath.
I'm gonna give that dagger to my +10 Deen muahaha

For the infantry dagger unit build, if I am able to get all 3 tier 4 skills plus the weapon from arcane sothe, which 5th skill would be good to inherit in your opinion with these 3?
Ruptured sky, fatal smoke 4 or assassin strike?
I would recommend Assassin's Strike for sure! It's rare and helps in cases where Potent Disarm does nothing.

Gave it to my Colm, but that Matthew build... 🔥 🔥. I gave him Arcane Void, but I'll get him that build with Lethality instead
Inheritance tips:
Larum: Sprightly Dancer has Disarm Trap 3. Grab that and Dragon Slasher+
Alcryst: Tender Groom has Attack/Speed Oath 3 at 4* star rarity. Grab that and either Draw Back or a few ranks of Bonus Doubler.
Rebecca: Breezy Scamp has Attack Speed Finish 3 at 5* star rarity. Grab that and NFU if need be.

The real thing I want from R!Sothe is Potent Disarm for my N!Lyn. Arcane Tempest is a bonus for her.

They really need to up the effects on these weapons cuz the meta is so insane that just 3 basic effects is really not enough anymore
So for the infantry daggers, for colm and/or Rennac which of the infantry builds would be the best for them to use?
Will be going all in with this for Felicia. Looking to make use of her Res for either Ploy or Sabotage (or both if I can manage it) and giving her Atk Oath Echo for warping. I've still got a bit more fodder to collect, but regardless... my baby will shine once more. 😌😌😌
If I can get a second Sothe for my max-invest Kagero, even better.

I’m curious how you’d build Summer Claude if you gave him Tempest. I know you labeled him as already having a good PRF, but I feel like his PRFs have both fallen off a bit since he only gets +6 Atk/Spd and slaying, making the Brave effect not as great since there isn’t much in the weapon to make him hit hard compared to say, Summer Shez’s Lance. Also Fallen Star is easily pierced these days
So can Sothe special defeat Emblem Ike?? I want to summon for him but alot of my Cav units wants far trace echo

Wait... can you use Ginnungapgap with the arcane tempest and its pfp B skill? I thought you can use pfp skills with rearmed weapons only if they're the original rearmed units with that skills
Rearmed & Attuned units are an exception to that rule!
I’m surprised Sothe’s got some tempting skills. I had to give Atk/Spd Finish 4 to my OG Celica to complete her Arcane Eclipse build. As for Atk/Spd Pledge, my questionable decision-making kept getting the better of me!
I’m tempted to give it to attuned nino so she can have turn 1 aoe with no marth or support, though I’m not sure how well that would do in actuality

Binding World Day 1 update: there’s a Spring Ashe that has the Tempest and a Flared Sparrow Ass Strike set and I’ve never spent money more quickly than in this moment

It's kind of crazy that one of the best users for Arcane Tempest is the one who brought in Arcane Void.
This begs the question, should we give Arcane Void to Sothe?
My hot take is that Arcane Void is better on Saizo bc of all the debuff shenanigans you can do with him for him to serve as a hit and sit omnitank. I'll skip for now bc all my resources are going into BoL4 but I'll get it, eventually!!!
I wouldnt say Yuri has a good prf honestly. Sure it has extra mobility but he has almost no help towards his lacking attacking stats. Its immensely difficult to kill any modern tank with his prf. If you want him to be anything other than a foul play bot unfortunately I think it’d be best to go with giving him Sothe’s build.
Yeah, that's fair. Easier to pre-charge Lethality that way. Extra mov is so useful though in AR where I still use him.

Attuned Nino is one of those funny cases where she's technically the best user, but she doesn't really need it.
