He needed more Forging Bonds cameos, another appearance in the comics, and I brought up something about how his sword should have calculated follow-ups using the difference between his and the foe's Def since NFU is so prevalent nowadays. And lo and behold, Summer Hrid (who I waited FOREVER for!) came with a visible debuff that does exactly that! Just goes to show that sending feedback WORKS! 👏👏👏
That's so good to hear. I should definitely start spamming reviews with how we need a Golden Deer Rule 4 years after the other Houses had a Rule skill. That, or something about Brave Remixes.

Fun hack: run any of the gullveigs with charge support! It’s so satisfying to see them fly across the battlefield decimating enemies. Great content as always PM1!
S!Hrid is the clear winner imo. His frozen effect is super good thanks to his stats, especially since many of the better units have higher spd these days, and he's an incredibly fun unit to play with.
I know I had this feeling, but now I stand by Hrid being the clear winner of this banner. Good stat allocation, good weapon, and a good prf skill with the frozen effect that not only deals with higher spd units, but can also help counter NFU.
I've been having too much fun with S!Hrid lately. Definitely loving his frozen effect since its been a real help taking on all of the faster monster units for me.
So much for S!Vaike. Nice to have him finally in feh, and he's not entirely bad, but thanks to prf grail axe units like Fargus people aren't gonna focus on building him, except for, as many say these days, if you like them. This is why I wish prfless seasonals could get refines, but sadly they are stuck in prfless hell with dancers and demote healers.
nerþus gotta be one of the weirdest designes in the game. a mele cav unit with slaying tempo canto but doesn't want galeforce and instead is a tank that has drive cut dr and rally spectrum but that then is also only with high cd specials. and then she brignes with her times pulse for beasts which again would be great for galeforcing.
I like these designs. Has great support and strength, but not that overpowered or insane (at least compared to some other units, cough Ike and lyon cough). Plus, the dr piercing still technically works on lower cd specials, being 40% for 1 cd and 70% for 2 cooldown.
After getting my L!Hríd to +10 on the HoF banner, the next project is Summer. I am so so happy that he is finally really good!! Both in art *and* usability. I loved Argon for New Years Hríd (who is sadly only +2 for now) and I am so happy to see them back as his artist. I totally agree with S!Hrid being the other star of the banner. I love how IS keeps things fresh by changing the stat meta (Spd, then Res, now Def & Spd), as it allows older to become viable again--esp those who have awkward stat distributions like high def, mid spd. I'm wondering how long before Def becomes the new meta stat 🤔 Thanks for the fantastic vid!
Another alternative Budget Build for Summer Olivia is to give her DEF Tactic and RES Tactic (one can be the seal). This will turn Summer Olivia into a Colorless Legendary Azura at home. She may not give a +1 MOV, but she's going to buff all your stats in one go! So far this build has been working well for me.
This may sound weird, but I am most happy for Olivia. Not because of the new alt, but because she brings a new colorless tome that is actually worth using for My Summoner. : )
Even though I'm still gonna +10 Gullveig, cus she's my girl. I'm rather whelmed by the fact that she;s the same as her mystic self but with piercing and a lower cd special. So many things they couldve done to make a more interesting kit in comparison to the likes of VLyon, Duo Frobin and some other mages that this one kind of felt like a kick in the face just due to the lol 3 actions in 1 turn shenano; which of course is great within itself and probably their justifiable reason NOT to improve her kit more, but a prf A skill felt like it wouldve been better than her prf special, and they couldve even introduced an inheritable mage cav special, cus flared anything after breath of life dropped is kinda omegalul. I feel like pre combat damage was pretty ok (not fun but not game breaking) when the max you could get was 14 and very few who could use it initially had access to dr reduction but they went Lala go stupid real quick with occultist strike, the inheritable weapon and L!Camilla and valentines Lyon in such quick succession. Now it basically is obsolete in high level play especially against whales meaning it primary use now is the terrain barrier for ranged and the chip at start of turn which just isn’t much compared to the other divine veins. Sad to see it get powercrept to hell and then rendered useless 😅

"Would be" cracked if Freyr didn't exist. And bulky nukes wouldn't care either. It's almost cute that the only way they make the most irrelevant stat have any value is to make it work against the problems they created in the first place... which kind of feels late when we also get tanky nukes that can shrug off a counter anyways. Edit : "The Yikes" gets added and he's basically Summer Donnel but he's teach, not a hick with a pan on his head. Think we can just tl;dr units that are almost identical to the previous because there's barely not much any difference among them anyway.
A quick question, Nerpuz range of effect (3C and 3R cendered on her) is the same range Arval, GK or Embla for ex, have for inflicting their effects? Which would be almost all of the AR map, or is it just 3 spaces around her?

Special Spiral 4 with Ignis can work if you don't have Laguz Friend. Sadly, the gap will be huge between anything else in B and Laguz Friend. It's just that good.
I pray one day IS gets over it’s strange obsession with making every single seasonal tempest extremely generic and unnotable sans inheritable weapon Like I kinda miss the era where we had units with weirder stat lines that made them unique Gimme a speedy Def focused red mage Gimme an Atk Res focused axe or Lance infantry Hell, give F2P bows literally any other color than colorless
olivia is not only stuck in colorless hell, but also outclassed by easter triandra. vaike is a waste of grails. its a little sad how the best art for this batch are the demotes but arent worth pulling at all...
I love Hrid but my one complaint is that his weapon needed GFU nullification, kinda annoying that every unit with a GFU will double him despite the frozen status
Typically units with GFU are the slower ones. Its not that much an issue if you just plan your team well and just not use him to go against a heavily invested armor with GFU lol.

The Frozen penalty is peak Omnibreaker. Or it's the unfair version of Fair-Fight Blade. Take your pick.
