  • Rokak: An Egyptian dish made with crispy bread, meat, and chicken or meat broth, baked in the oven. It's also known as "Roa'a" or "Roqaq". The main ingredient is dried Egyptian bread flakes, which can be found in Arabic stores.
    Ingredients:
    2lbs Minced Meat
    1 1/2 cups chicken broth, or meat broth
    1 Onion, medium size, finely chopped
    1 tablespoon Margarine, or oil
    2-3 tablespoons Margarine, or ghee, melted
    1 tsp cumin powder
    1 tsp paprika
    1 tsp black pepper
    1 tsp coriander powder
    Salt to taste
    1 box of Rokak 10 crispy flat bread
