I've been looking to see if it's do-able to spray the engine still (mostly) attached... Thank you!!! I'm away from mine right now but when I'm back my plan is to eventually spray the fins wrinkle black with shiny fin edges like you did, but leave the heads and sand them to a high shine. This video is everything I've been looking for, thank you!!
@@SweetScoots thanks Mike! Although right now I'm still away from it... My bike is in Vietnam and I'm in a Vietnamese military quarantine because of Coronavirus, it's crazy how this is impacting the world
So do we need to hit it with the heat gun inbetween layers like you did because you're the only person I've found doing that? All the other videos do 1 coat, wait 5-10 minutes and then apply another coat, wait 5-10 minutes and then finally do the 3rd coat. Ending it with the heat gun. I'm just a lil confused with that part now
Big if you look in the tools list of the video you’ll find it click the link it’ll open up for your country if it doesn’t let me know have a great day my friend mad mike
The finish result is that it came out beautiful, you can see it in the thumbnail, try it and see for yourself my friend. Thanks for watching. mad Mike Sweet Scoots

From an old Harley guy, I’da wrinkled just the jugs, leaving the heads raw aluminum. Just prefer to differentiate between the two assemblies.
Tom I Love that look as well, there are many cool things you can do with wrinkle paints thanks so much for sharing mike
No one likes winkled jugs 👀

Do you spray any clear coat or anything on it afterwards?
Hello Ryan, for high heat areas like the heads and jugs no clear coat is needed my friend. thanks Mike
Are there parts you shouldn't spray?
I mean engine parts that are bad to have sprayd
We spray pretty much everything, this stuff is pretty heat resistant if done correctly. Thanks for watching, have a great day. mad Mike Sweet Scoots

Great video! What dremel bit did you use to get the paint off of the fins?
matt we share all the tools in the SHOW MORE of the video's description but here it is amzn.to/37oTNFD
Do you use clear coat after?
no we do not as most cannot take the heat
how long do you think this paint will last?
if kept clean it can last for years as it is basically baked on more and more every time you ride thanks Sweet Scoots Mike
