The irradiation of earth with morphin energy definitely explains why earth has so many ranger teams while other planets seem to be limited to a single team, a single ranger or a team of rangers operating throughout the entire galaxy.
Personally I think the Power Rangers franchise used the concept of aliens way to much. Dairanger and Kakuranger could have just been established as Earth based teams that fought evil in the past on Earth. Power Rangers already established that demons and other Earth based threats exist. The Gorma Empire and the Youkai definitely could have worked.

Mainly cause they used super sentai footage and the set of rangers the squadron rangers are based on doesn’t actually have a black ranger the black ranger was made up for the comics Tommy’s power were the 6th ranger powers and Orion was the 6th ranger of the series so he got all the 6th ranger powers like the green ranger powers white ranger powers and gold ranger powers for example
Black Dairanger is a unique one :O It's interesting making them the first once for sure. Dairanger is my favorite sentai, so I'm glad they tried to do something with it!
Boom Studios has been a great boon to Power Ranger fans. It’s their own continuity but it has expanded a lot of the lore. I look forward to the comics every month.

honestly, quite interested in how they will adapt the "Dragon Powers", aka Dengeki Sentai Changeman, in the probable future (if they will). Primarily because I've always found it interesting that the Rangers' suits within the team were based on mythological animals while their megazord's made up of vehicles and not their respective animals, it'd be interesting how they can "explain" that being a thing within their team 🤔
According to RangerWiki, this team is known simply as "Power Rangers Blitz", a reference to the full title of _Changeman_ ("dengeki", translated into German, is "blitzkrieg"). However, in accordance with my tendencies to lengthen the names of the more lazily (and shortly) named pre-Zyuranger counterpart teams (e.g. "Thunder Squadron", after their corresponding Zords and the _Power Rangers_ lightning bolt sigil, as opposed to just "Squadron"), I think "Draco Blitz" is a much better name.
To me, it should have been dubbed "The LOST Power of Eltar" in Super MegaForce. Since the White Ranger Powers was the "ONLY" power left in the 2nd season, the original 5 (Red, Green, Blue, Yellow, Pink) powers that Zordon had wore lost during his battle with Rita. That would have been great story arc if Saban would have been a little bit more creative for those power.
Never thought of that one. That name would have worked as well in Power Rangers. I wish that somebody that is a true Ranger Fan (other than Yost, JDF, ect...) should continue to make PR content for our enjoyment. Regardless of continuing the same story, OR, revamp the story, so that everyone can see and be prouder of being a Ranger Fan.
Ive always felt that the Dairanger powera could very well have been the original Power Rangers from Eltar. While we never get any confirmation of where the White Tiger coin came from, its likely those powers were once wielded by Zordon.

I'd like to see the other Saban shows like Masked rider (who was in first 3 episodes of mmpr s3), both seasons of beetleborgs, vr troopers and mystic knights all somehow connected to the Morphin grid and acknowledged in power rangers as so far they're basically just other shows that 90s kids got to see but not really connected to power rangers except made by Saban as well.
In my head it is much more different. (very briefly) Lord Zedd finds a way to make his own evil rangers despite the efforts of the 5 heroes to prevent it, Zordon tells them that it is too late to recover those powers and they must defeat them. They manage to defeat the Dark Ranger but lose their power coins however Tommy hears a voice calling him, it is the Saba sword that wants to be found. Together with the energy of the sword and the broken coins, they manage to access the morphing grid and "update" their Zord with the form of the sacred beasts.
If they do decide to explore the *dragon powers* I hope they change the name since only *one* ranger has a dragon motif. I have wanted a dragon team since I was little but as a whole team, not just one ranger. Why not Mythos Rangers? That makes way more sense!
Gosei Sentai Dairanger is one of my fave Super Sentai. Have issues, however the main five and one kid who turned into Kibaranger. Quite popular in japan in action stunts were top notch of Dairanger. Aside from Hikari Sentai Maskman and Jyuken Sentai Gekiranger were martial arts motifs.
Xev's Black Squadron Ranger suit should be different than the main five Squadron Ranger suits in order for him to be recognize as an official Sixth Ranger by having a white and gold chest plate that is identical to Tommy's White Ranger chest plate with the hippogriff symbol on it.
To me this is a classic example of emplaning something after the fact cause the show didn’t probably explain it so the comics explains it 9 years after it happened in the series people are free to like the comics I just feel instead of being expanded ranger universe it’s mostly being used to explain away things the show didn’t probably explain the first time
That’s mainly what expanded universes are and have always been: learning about things the original show, movie, whatever only hinted at or didn’t have time or space to cover. There’s nothing wrong with that.

Because Green and Black are commonly interchangeable. Few teams have both Green and Black. Only MMPR, Dino Fury and RPM. Most teams only either have Green or Black.

There was a better way to adapt Dairanger for Super Megaforce. Have it where Zordon and Alpha were working on new powers for the Mighty Morphin Team but the development was stopped probably by one of the times the Command Center was destroyed. Call them the Mighty Morphin Thunder Rangers to better tie it into the Thunderzords.
Somehow, I feel like Xev should have been the original White Squadron (a.k.a. the White MMPR) instead of black. BS (Boom! Studios) should have thought this through. It was a error mistake if _they_ were going to adapt the Dairangers into the comics and make it accurate. Plus I don't want to make it darker here but I think the actual reality here is that the entire theme of Dairanger are an actual walking "Chinese profiling" if they going to include the actual Dairanger team in PR. The censors back in the day typically whitewashed any Asian references to fit younger audiences just what 4kids do w/ Pokémon to fit younger audiences, not unless it's a Japanese theme (T&C still applies though), maybe in order to avoid what Disney did when they try to adapt Princess Mononoke to dismay Hayao Miyazaki. LSS Dairangers will gonna have huge makeover and censorship if they will aired in PR back in the day "to fit for younger audiences".

I hope that the squadron powers would be passed on to the 2nd might morphin team due the thunder zords ( Sentai ) origins some way some how that would be awesome because the powers lives on in the hands of good
My theory is squadron is the origin for morphin master it shows how squadron defeated dark spector and squadron sacrifice physical form and become morphin master then dark specptor is prisoned in a planet called rafkon he is the reason sporix become evil after rafkon destroyed dark spector is free and cosmic fury rangers fights void prince and void princess, Lord zedd and dark spector at final episode

Plus I don't want to make it darker here but I think the actual reality here is that the entire theme of Dairanger are an actual walking "Chinese profiling" if they going to include the actual Dairanger team in PR. The censors back in the day typically whitewashed any Asian references to fit younger audiences just what 4kids do w/ Pokémon to fit younger audiences, not unless it's a Japanese theme (T&C still applies though), maybe in order to avoid what Disney did when they try to adapt Princess Mononoke to dismay Hayao Miyazaki. LSS Dairangers will gonna have huge makeover and censorship if they will aired in PR back in the day "to fit for younger audiences".
Maybe this is just me, but I wish they'd found a way to tie them to the Thunder zords. Probably would've been hard, though.
