@@dustinneely Really..... Eastern Orthodox churches are more beholden to their Government. Do you think the Russian Patriarch dare goes against Putin?
Besides the different Eastern Orthodox Church cannot even agree on the validity of baptism other denominations (if one decides to convert to orthodoxy) or what can be accept.
I see many Orthodox Christians on social media being so hostile and some beyond that although there are exceptions. Where is the charity and love all Christians are suppose to practice.
Do Catholics call orthodox Christians apostate? No we call you brothers!

I've changed my Protestant belief systems many times. So many times one of my family members kept asking "why do you keep changing?". The answer is, of course, the pursuit of truth. If what we believe cannot survive deep and thoughtful challenging, then it's really not the truth at all. Going to start RCIA in September, God be willing.

Daniel, I have been watching your videos since 2019 . At that time, I was learning so much from you about the Jewish roots of my Christian faith. I loved tuning into your LIVE shows and interacting with you and the other people in the live chat. Then in 2020 I noticed something changing in you ...and I remember a handful of your followers who were not very kind to those changes. But God kept me watching and listening and I"m so thankful for that because your journey into Catholicism played a huge role in leading me into the Catholic Church too. In fact, I believe that learning about the Jewish roots of my faith helped build the foundation for me to accept the structure and the teachings of Catholicism. At one point, I emailed you about the fears I had coming out to my anti-Catholic family members, and you wrote me back a very encouraging email. I just wanted to let you know that anytime anyone asks me what led me to look into Catholicism, I always mention you and your fist videos on the Papacy and the Eucharist. Daniel, I will be confirmed into the church this Easter 2023! Thank you brother! You will always be a part of my testimony. So if you ever wonder if you're videos are making a difference, please know that they most definitely are!
P.S...And don't ever stay away that long again, lol

Be it known: Through the Holy Spirit, God has put it on me to preach to those lost in the devil's deceit!
Hear me when I say, ye that are Catholic have been deceived and know not God. Ye worship Mary, praying to her; when God tells his to worship none other than him. It is idolatry.
Catholicism has its own Bible and teachings, which are blasphemous to the word of God: the Holy Bible. As ye follow the teachings of man and not God; ye hear the pope, but not Jesus, yet ye claim to be his disciples!
These are but a few things I named ye dwell within; there are many more. I tell you now to repent of your sins, accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, and you'll receive the gift of the Holy Spirit upon asking the Father!
There are *NO* sub-divisions of Christianity. You're either a disciple of Christ or not. A Christian is someone who follows God's word, not a religion. Who obey the Father and follow his will; not man's nor their own heart's. Unless you keep Jesus' commandments, think not the Holy Spirit will dwell within you!
They who heed this message and did what was stated with an open heart to God...
Read the Holy Bible (KJV) daily and every time before you read, pray to the Father and ask:
"Lord I ask that you give me understanding of your word, that I interpret it the way you want me to, and none of my own. I ask you in Jesus' name, amen."
      Revelation 22:8-9 KJV
8 And I John saw these things, and heard them. And when I had heard and seen, I fell down to worship before the feet of the angel which shewed me these things.
9 Then saith he unto me, See thou do it not: for I am thy fellowservant, and of thy brethren the prophets, and of them which keep the sayings of this book: worship God.
      Acts 2:38 KJV
38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.
      Luke 11:13 KJV
13 If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children: how much more shall your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to them that ask him?
      John 14:21-24 KJV
21 *He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him.*
22 Judas saith unto him, not Iscariot, Lord, how is it that thou wilt manifest thyself unto us, and not unto the world?
23 Jesus answered and said unto him, *If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him.*
24 He that loveth me not keepeth not my sayings: and *the word which ye hear is not mine, but the Father's which sent me.*
      3 John 1:11 KJV
11 Beloved, follow not that which is evil, but that which is good. *He that doeth good is of God: but he that doeth evil hath not seen God.*
      1 John 3:6-10 KJV
6 *Whosoever abideth in him sinneth not: whosoever sinneth hath not seen him, neither known him.*
7 Little children, let no man deceive you: *he that doeth righteousness is righteous, even as he is righteous.*
8 He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.
9 *Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God.*
10 *In this the children of God are manifest, and the children of the devil: whosoever doeth not righteousness is not of God,* neither he that loveth not his brother.

Proof Eucharist is body of Jesus Christ and Virgin Mary is his mother.
48I am the bread of life.
49Your ancestors ate the manna in the desert, but they died;z
50this is the bread that comes down from heaven so that one may eat it and not die.
51I am the living bread that came down from heaven; whoever eats this bread will live forever; and the bread that I will give is my flesh for the life of the world.”a
52The Jews quarreled among themselves, saying, “How can this man give us [his] flesh to eat?”
53Jesus said to them, “Amen, amen, I say to you, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink his blood, you do not have life within you.
54Whoever eats* my flesh and drinks my blood has eternal life, and I will raise him on the last day.
55For my flesh is true food, and my blood is true drink.
56Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood remains in me and I in him.
57Just as the living Father sent me and I have life because of the Father, so also the one who feeds on me will have life because of me.b
58This is the bread that came down from heaven. Unlike your ancestors who ate and still died, whoever eats this bread will live forever.”

They’re exactly like the Jewish rites of old. Even now, if you go to an orthodox synagogue, which I recommend! You’ll see a lot of similarity. I went orthodox for a long time and felt very comfortable and familiar there. It reminded me a lot of the Catholic Churches of my youth. Their services last longer tho, way longer. But you’ll get the gist. Catholicism is straight up the continuation of that.

Edith Stein took a new name when she married Christ. But nobody seems to cares because all they can see is "Jewish". Our elder brothers and sisters in the faith predate Christ. The modern ones reject the faith. Charity should never come at the expense of truth.

@@atrifle8364 I thought it might be easier to look up St Edith Stein. Here is some info on: Edith Stein
(religious name Saint Teresia Benedicta a Cruce OCD; also known as Saint Teresa Benedicta of the Cross or Saint Edith Stein; 12 October 1891 - 9 August 1942) was a German Jewish philosopher who converted to Christianity and became a Discalced Carmelite nun. She is canonized as a martyr and saint of the Catholic Church; she is also one of six patron saints of Europe.

Thank you, your content helps me as I go through the process of becoming Catholic. I've really been struggling lately as it can be overwhelming changing a mindset and belief system of 45 plus years. Also many people that know me don't even know yet I will be confirmed April 8th. They don't even know I've been on this journey at all. Only a few people know. I just don't want the extra stress yet as I'm working through my own stuff while transitioning. Anyway, It gives me comfort in hearing about the Jewish roots being tied into it. My heart needed this today.

Daniel, I just discovered your channel. I am a cradle Catholic, from Pennsylvania, however, it is difficult to find someone well versed and intelligent to hold conversation with regarding the faith. I find that many Catholics that surround me, lapsed or not, including my own Grandmother who attended Catholic school, are very poorly catechized and have a poor understanding of the faith and they cannot defend it let alone engage in a conversation about it.
We seem to be close in age, I really enjoy your videos, you're extremely intelligent and relatable. I enjoy learning about the faith, Christianity as a whole and early Judaism in general, I have an extensive theological library and finding your channel has brought great delight.

I was just wondering the other night if I was still subscribed to your channel! It's happened before that someone drops off my feed, only to discover that I somehow became unsubscribed. It's good to hear from you again. This topic, or rather your answers, got me to thinking how I myself would answer. I was baptized and received all the Sacraments of Initiation beginning as an infant, but fell away, came back, fell away, came back, fell away, and then returned in full force. I should say that the times I fell away, I was mostly wishy washy lukewarm Catholic at heart. I even practiced a sect of Buddhism for a time. I was always seeking to know the truth, but just hadn't learned anything about Catholicism that wasn't pretty much superficial. Yet I never went wholeheartedly into anything else, and couldn't imagine doing so. Then I came across the Sensus Fidelium channel on TH-cam, and found what I wanted to learn, or needed to know. That's what eventually led to the TH-cam algorithm suggesting your channel to me. I'm always seeking to learn about my Faith, and the more I learn, the more strongly I'm drawn to Jesus, and to God the Father, and to God the Holy Spirit. Blessed be God in His Angels and in His Saints! As always, 3 Aves for you and your family 🌹🌹🌹🙏🏻✝️

Your videos are a joy and informative. The Catholic faith is not an easy faith and to an outsider it is too complicated and considered a cult that worships idols. I can understand their opinions because all they know about the Church is what they have heard through rumours, hearsay and secondary opinions. They seek advice from others who know as much about Catholicism as they do. For some reason they will not ask a Catholic about the Catholic Church. Here’s where your videos come in. I realized that many Catholics don’t know enough about their religion to answer outside questions properly and out muscled by a Protestant who knows enough Scripture to make them dangerous to others and themselves. I know of Catholics who have left the faith to become Protestant because they were scripturally baffled. Keep your videos coming;they are enlightening and informative. I am new to your channel, found it by “accident” and appreciate your work. Thanks and God bless. Sorry for the length.

Blessings, to you and the commenters below. I just want to point out that Catholic worship is not just the Latin Mass, but the Byzantine, Chaldean, various Syrian, Armenian and Alexandrian rites, including Ethiopian. There used to be a wonderful book, Eastern Catholic Liturgies, by Fr Nicholas Liesel, illustrating this truth. So there is a lot to explore in finding fulfillment of the Old Testament in the Liturgy of the Church.

Excellent. When God speaks and says something is so; then it is so. When the 2nd Person of the Trinity said the clump of H2O, Carbon, Calcium, etc was now His Body in the man Jesus; then that is His Body and not just a symbol. If Jesus picks up some bread and wine and says this is now my body and blood; guess what?? He has the power and authority to do that; and so it is.
Thankfully God has given to His Church great Eucharistic Miracles which allows us get an understanding and clarify whether it is the Protestant symbolic or con-substantiation or the Catholic Transsubstantiation which better explains it. Independent, blind tests done at labs on eucharistic miracle hosts reveal the substance to be living heart tissue from a stressed heart (usually seen in torture victims) and of the same blood type as found on the shroud of Turin. 2 important things. 1) It was real human heart tissue cells; found to be merged with the parts of the host which still appeared as bread cells which no known process could replicate (ie. it wasn't a forgery/hoax), and 2) the tissue was still alive which would normally be impossible once the tissue was removed from a normal living person: both of which amazed the technicians doing the tests and amazed them once they were told after their tests what it was they were working with.
    Keep the Faith.

This is a good narrative historically and Biblically considering how short it was. The turning point was when the Bishop of Rome and his right hand man, Eusebius, negotiated a political strategy with Constantine in the early 4th century which gave the bishop of Rome an advantage over all the other bishops both in the church and in civil appeal for political leverage. When Justinian came along in the 6th century, the Bishop of Rome gained a lock on authority in civil and religious matters as decreed by Justinian who was essentially the emperor over what was left of the former Roman empire and who was also a respected and powerful ruler in the East.

Note on sola scriptura they say it's just that scripture alone is irrefutable, not that you can't learn from traditions and that they don't hold the word of God in them

My sisters converted to Islam and it is difficult to make them understand the differences. Before I didn't care, I thought that all religions were fine and I shouldn't bother. but now I see the effects it has had on their lives and I want to help them. For now the rosary is my companion in this challenge.

I’m glad you understand that, that religion is false. All are, but the Catholic Faith. Sure that sounds harsh but the truth is only one. I recommend they watch Samuel Shamoun on the channel “the Archive”.

Daniel thanks for explaining the link between Jewish faith and Catholicism as a continuation of God's true Church and His plan of salvation in history. Most non Catholics raise the following questions t o disqualify the Catholic faith, 1. The Pope's claim of infallibility 2. The role of mother Mary 3. Priesthood and celibacy 4. The place of worship Cathedrals and the statues and arts in there as idolization, there may be more could you please explain on the Jewish link on those areas, thank you !
