Ive played guitar my entire life. The cello has always been calling me. Now in my mid 40's, I just started learning to play and I obsessed with it. And I realize now that it was the instrument I was meant for. So please..if you feel a calling towards this instrument, don't put it off. Find a way to make it happen. I actually traded some guitars for a nice cello. This guy is a genius.
wow Mr the cello call me too I play guitar too and now I'm almost 54 I started about 2 years and it's really make me happy and I trade my guitar for Cello too......
One can hear his PASSION in his voice. Living his dream everyday.....truly inspirational. THANK YOU for sharing this with us! 😁
I wish there were more videos from Mr. Robin, I've watched this like 100 times.
What a fascinating film. Thank you for sharing.
I was so impressed with the work room. It must be a wonderful place to work. Watching the sharpening of the chisel brought back so many memories of my late father, who was a cabinet maker.
What a beautifully shot and wonderfully insightful film!!!
Such a great film ! You just know that this gentleman is a true master and I would love to go to his shop and play some of his creations. In addition you know he is a truly wonderful person of character and passion.
I just got my first cello last week. I'm so excited. And this is beautiful

You could probably perform heart surgery with those chisels they look so sharp! You are so passionate about what you do it's wonderful to listen to. Must be an extremely fulfilling job compared to sitting in front of a computer all day in an open plan office!
100k for one of these. I appreciate the labour but what in the actual poverty fuck.
