Your answer on Toxic family, is 100% correct. I'm from a toxic family, I finally left them behind!
I'm extremely emotionally scared, the Grace and Love of Yahweh is healing me on the daily.
And to anyone who comes across this comment and you are perhaps struggling in this predicament of a toxic family, please do not be afraid to leave. There are many biblical saints who left their family house and they did not die.
Don't allow fear to keep you there, take that step into the unknown, The Lord orders them.

Girl I agree with you on living alone. I'm Cameroonian and left my parents in 2013 to study in Germany. Since then I have been living alone. I feel much more responsible, I learn new things about myself everyday you know. I even had instances while in a relationship where my ex will want me to move in with him but still I will turn him down. That belief that our african parents/culture think that we have to move directly from home into a man's house is quite unhealthy!

Believe it or not more people are going through the exact same thing than it may seem. The reason why you don’t hear it a lot is because our culture has taught us to internalize feelings and thoughts that are not culturally accepted; leading to a generational pattern of brokenness, depression, anxiety and so many other things. You can try moving to another state with the excuse that you want to explore more job opportunities or to further your education. Another thing you want to keep in mind during your healing process is that people’s toxic behavior towards you, has nothing to do with you and everything to do with them and most importantly you’re not the things you didn’t do, you’re not the things you didn’t know , you’re the identity you create for yourself today.God bless you🙏🏽

I so much love Q&A from Dimma... I am 23, just finished school; waiting for my NYSC program. I knew from day one that I am a good orator. I love it a lot and I see myself rehearsing on my own about some issue on ground...but don't just know how to explore this...should I say I am too scared to start something probably because of the criticism I am going to get from family and friends.
Watching you Dimma inspires me alot...

I know it may be different being from Nigeria (Africa) & living on the continent however some young adults believe you should move out of your parents home when you graduate from undergraduate and graduate school. I was fortunate enough to be able to live with my parents after finishing graduate school. I then moved to another state for my career & had the experience of living independently prior to marrying my husband. For those living in the USA in expensive areas such as my area, the Washington, DC area (DMV), STAY AT HOME AS LONG AS YOU CAN! Save your money & then be strategic about where you move! I’m still here due to my husband and I have careers based here right now but if you are able to live somewhere more affordable, PLEASE DO SO!

As a new TH-camr, one thing I've learnt is that creating contents ain't easy at all. It has to be something you really love, not that you are doing it cos people are doing it. If not in the long run, you will just get tired.
Kudos to Dimma for giving us interesting and valuable contents. Thanks for being an inspiration, we keep growing.

Hi Dimma, I've been watching your TH-cam videos for over a year now and I follow you on social media ( Instagram) just finished watching this video, then I watched your linked video on your parents not initially allowing you be a youtuber ,( I don't know why I skipped watching it before). I just had to comment today and let you know your videos are so inspiring and I can also relate alot to it, as a young lady trying to figure things out for myself. your videos are eye openers and I appreciate what you do. Xoxo
