      @@TheMusicBusinessMadeEasy hello I have a question I'm a music publisher currently I'm working with an artist I come up with concept he makes the music after he's done I'll listen to the song to see if it need any changes so you can say I'm executive producer as well we agreed on the splits I receive 64 he receive 36 percent writers and publishing also where 50/50 on the copyright so what agreement covers what I explained to you?

      @@gottech5601 your writing is not clear. You say 64/36, then you say 50/50. I’m not following you. Makes no sense. The copyright is the song. It’s either 50/50 or 64/36 not both. So please explain this better.

      @@TheMusicBusinessMadeEasy me and the artist I'm working with I own 50 percent of the copyright he owns 50 percent of the copyright on the publishing side I own 64 percent and he owns 36 percent

      They don’t sell to anyone. They license music for use (as explained in the video).
