    DON’T DO IT UNLESS YOU WANT TO SPEND AN EXTRA 200 ON TUNING. I had to learn the hard way because I did it and didn’t realize my car was going to run lean. My 2011 Civic lx check engine light kept coming on and I noticed my car run very weird and gobbling gas very fast. I’m definitely going stock until I feel like tuning it. Also don’t throw away any parts for the stock intake because you WILL change your mind.

    A complete waste of money... and actually it's worse. The check engine light can come on.

    you guys saying you lost power probably didnt have the correct fueling, tuning, or otherwise brains to make it work right. its not stock, its gonna make your car think the world is ending.

    After reading the comments im just gonna stay stock with my K&N drop in filter. Besides I got 380K original trouble and ruat free mileage. Looking to squeeze a few more MPG out of it but this is just too expensive.

    Should let people know the MAF sensor screws might get stuck. This video Completely skipped over cutting a slot in the screw to remove it

      You may loose horsepower. And you may gain. It’s a 50 50 chance. Usually you’ll get a check engine light in the long run I already did it and I fell no change. Get a k&N

      bro i got you buy a takeda or an aem cold air intake for the 1.8l. they’re more expensive but that’s what you should do when trying to have a fast fun, and REALIABLE car

    • @Danny-he9jd

      I got a takeda cold take intake for $370 and i got gold heat wrap around it. Gonna last me a lot longer than this $100 intake. The filter for mine alone is $70-80

      @mohammedsalimahmed5230 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      I understand why you say that but it's clear you don't understand engineering very well.
      Not all cars lose power. The civic Mk8 in particular actually gains power and even 1-2MPG as well as significant more responsive throttle.
      Every car reacts different based on the OEM air intake design.
