Damn it’s hard to find YTers who care about XCOM, even more so CS, not that i can play it on my Xbox. XCOM 3 died so Firaxis could make their shitty Avengers game. Along with Deus Ex, that’s now two prestigious legacy franchises Marvel has euthanised.
I share some of your frustration. Arkane is stuck doing a Marvel project now too and it's not what I would have wanted from them. But Guardians of the Galaxy was surprisingly good so these projects can turn out well. I think we'll still see XCOM 3 eventually. Not sure about Deus Ex though. I get the impression that franchise is in deep freeze unfortunately.
