I bought the Luxman L507z and the volume control is very refined. There was another review critising the volume but I find the volume control via remote or on the ampllifier never jumps a number. It is perfect
If you are not already familiar with Denafrips, you want to listen to them or look up reviews. They are the best DACs you will hear at any price. That being said, the Luxman has a very capable on board DAC.
Bel Canto e1X ($8,500) N-core Class D 1 8 0 watts per channel at 8 ohms. 250 watts at 4 ohms Damping factor 500 Current delivery 18 amperes. (and now, $12,495 vs $8,500) 120 vs 180 wpc*🌹
The weight and power are only part. It has better transformers, and also uses a parallel 4 way push pull design so sonically it has vast improvements. It is also beneficial if you are a headphone listener because the headphone amplifier isn't much improved also.
@@kronoshifi …..why Lux just didn’t do that in the first place is part of this industry’s grand designs of fleecing as much out of easily rattled audiophiles as they can get away with.🌹

Luxman L-509Z or the Accuphase E-4000?
Thank you for the comments
What DAC should you pair with the 509Z?
