This plays LPs which get their acoustical information from some master tape (analog or digital) so why not just get that source? As long as the source isn't dynamically compressed, as occurs with many digital masters, then you do not need such a turntable, all you need is a FLAC file.
Do you mean there is no benefit to using a higher end turntable? Having a good recording is 100% essential agreed, but the cartridge, tonearm, turntable, wiring etc... all play an enormous part! FLAC is also a digital format so removes much of the benefit of an analogue source in your system. The turntable cannot change the original source, but a poor turntable can destroy it. If you put a £100 vinyl LP, recorded directly from the orignal analogue master tapes on a £100 turntable it will sound awful (never mind the cheap stylus destroying the vinyl!) so there is a lot more to it than simply having a good LP.
You know there is a thing called CD players invented in the 80's that fixes all these turntable limitations and issues right? 😀
If you fancy paying 3 x times the price to get the same sound (and even then its a very different sound) then yes, but nothing can replicate the sound of vinyl!
