11.75 in Wilson feels like a 11.25-11.00 on my hand, need a 12.25-12.5 then seems like a 11.75 Wilson. Rawlings feel and looks true to size, 11.75 feels like 11.75.
I can’t stand how Wilson pretty much makes you buy a custom glove, because their on the shelf selection is terrible. Wilson needs more options of colors/styles off the shelf like Rawlings. I also think it’s pretty ridiculous how much a custom Wilson is over the more superior Rawlings Custom.
Y Marina To each his own! Japan, Philippines what’s the difference? Like I said I have had both and the only better part of a Wilson glove is the inner thumb and Aso!
@@akaredcrossbow Rawlings factory in Philippines is also ran by a Japanese man so their quality control is still good. The a2000 made in Vietnam was pretty poor quality.
Slade Bishop I know this comment was 2 months ago but I agree with you but I just like the look of the pro preferred it just looks like a glove it’s not like a color that you get from academy I tend to go more towards the natural colors that’s my opinion though
Finger pad...GTFO here. Haha na whatever you like is fine. Your preference. I've never really had good luck with Rawlings. I had a heart of the hide and it broke in like an absolute disaster. Never again. I'm all about my A2000. If I was still young and played I'd probably buy an A2K but I'm too old now. Just sent my A2000 to get fixed up to make it like new today. It's going on 16 years now. Love it.
I work games as police at reds /visitors dugouts. I see guys laying down way more A2000 than A2k when they come off the field. And I watch games on tv. Thats why I bought the A2000 to be a glove that I can use with my 7, 4 yo to not have to buy another glove as they grow and such.
A2K are NOT worth the price. They may be “better leather” but for 350.00 it’s not worth it. The wear out so fast. They suck. A2000 are better. Rawlings is great
Thanks! I just got an A2k 1787 11.75" and a Mike Trout Pro Preferred. I'm still breaking in the A2K and the Mike Trout is still unused. I'm looking forward to breaking in the Pro Preferred. I'm looking to round out my collection with a Catcher and 1st Baseman's mitt and I'm thinking of going with PP for the Catcher and Heart of the Hide for the 1st Baseman's mitt. Since PP is Kip leather and A2K is not, would you think the A2k compares more with the HOH? I like the Dual Welt of the A2K and the wrist guard.
@@nomex8461 a2k uses US steerhides which is extra sorted from the a2000s, but the fundamental leather is no different and the same as the heart of the hides which also uses California steer hide. IMO the Wilson’s are overpriced considering the leather they use. If you want something really cool and unique I suggest a Japanese market waygu leather glove from like ASICS or tamazawa.
anyone else notice that wilsons run a bit smaller?
norcal91 this is commonplace
norcal91 I already knew that.
That's obvious

I think that Wilson’s gloves look better but Rawlings has the better leather.

Wilson sucks. Rawlings is the goat.
I love my pros314-2brb

What about Rawlings Primos
schultzy 44 Rawlings hasn't made primos in years
schultzy 44 they have the gold glove opti core now which are sick
Primo's nice but they were heavy.
The A3000s are so dope. My friend has one (11.75, modified I web) and its amazing, extremely beat with an enormous pocket perfect for third
Wakin mar it’s pretty much a huge flop
What’s an A3000?
😂@@thefooyouhate9000
Check out the other glove bros it has 39 subs it's a good channel
Ryan Caruso no
No. I just bought my son a custom Rawlings HOH and it was $430 with tax and everything. The custom Pro Preferred was $545. This was February 2023.
nah heart or the hide is more popular because it’s more bang for ur buck
What kind of glove oil or conditioner did you use on the A2K?
How was it
+hogan heller just ok honestly. Allstar and mizuno are better
