Hey, maybe a tip here for you. You stayed at Ibis for £153 then £10 parking then port parking ££, then breakfast ££. Adds up. We stayed at Meon Valley spa and golf club outside Southampton for £192. BUT, this includes overnight hotel, parking for full duration of cruise, breakfast and taxis in and out to port. So no extra "Costa" lol brekkie, no hectic Southampton city driving, No extra parking costs and full use of Spa.Sounds like could be much better value and a relax in spa. Downside, no walking into Southampton or quays so would need to do your M&S haul fist lol. Worth thinking about xx
Thanks for the tips Trace. We think there are pluses and minuses about wherever you stay, we especially like getting off the ship and straight into the car. But Meon Valley definitely sounds like a great way to start your trip and we will definitely check it out in the future. 😊
