P&O Aurora Iberian Cruise 2023- Guernsey & Disembarkation
Join us for our last port day ☹️
Watch as we explore Guernsey. After breakfast we grab our tickets for the tender boat to St Peter Port, with spectacular weather and views. After a walk around the town, we head to the La Vallette war museum, which was definitely a sobering visit. We then head to the fort and lighthouse and have a Guernsey ice cream. Back on the ship we have afternoon drinks in the Crows Nest, and then have a 'comedy curry' in the buffet!
See us the following day as we disembark in Southampton then head home before revealing our next trip ⚓︎

We was on the Aurora in 2008 & have booked to go on her next year & the year after. Loved our time on her & shes not too big which i liked. Glad you enjoyed your trip. We visited Jersey a few years back & you'll enjoy it there too if you are interested in Ww2.

We wanted to visit that war museum on Guernsey on our cruise but as I told you before it was too rough for the tenders but will make sure we visit the museum if we get there on another cruise. You are right about booking early for CPS I left it till about 4 months before we cruised last summer and they were full, I have booked for next August already to be sure we could get parked.
Definitely worth a visit next time you visit. We were very fortunate with the weather. We have already booked CPS for April next year. Thank you for watching. 😊
