We were on the cruise at the same time as you, had a fabulous time loved the Aurora, its lovely to watch your videos we thought it was all really good, we have cruised many times never on the Aurora she maybe old but we loved it, having been on the Iona in may and feeling it was far too busy the Aurora was calm and relaxed.

All depends on where you are berthed as to how close to the centre. Was on Britannia week before last and it was a 5 minute walk to the big square. Went on Ventura in May and she berthed by the container yards and that took about 30 minutes walk through back streets. Lovely city though ☺
Definitely think we were at the second berth! We enjoy the city centre, the outskirts look a bit run down. A great place to visit with more time. ☺️

Next time you go get a Tuk Tuk tour , right from the ship , has a fab time on them 😊 we were there Mid October on Ventura

Carlos gave us those custard tarts when we visited. They were amazing ❤. It has to be Port in Porto !

We loved Lisbon , but gave the shuttle bus a miss , just walked across road and through the big square , great shops , bars , we got a tuctuc upto the fort €20 and walked back down , I feel you missed so much that was a lot nearer . Maybe try that next time 😊 . Love watching your trips 😊

Watched you in Lisbon one of my favourite ports there is to much to do there but in one day you have to choose well. If you do go back ride the trams 12e is very good also the timeout market good food and produce. I will have to see your other vlogs when I get back leaving in Britannia on Friday. As always very enjoyable vlogs

i would maybe like to do the cruise again sometime but we wouldn't stop in cherbuge it just wasn't for us that port so for our first cruise we visited Vigo, Lisboa, porto and cherbuge for our 4 ports still it was so magical for me
Hopefully if you did it again you would stop at Guernsey, which is a lovely place.
We are lucky living 10 mins from Legoland Windsor have you been Pete as you would love love it there and huge lego shops and fantastic day out
Sadly not but it is on my bucket list. Maybe next year as Pip would love historical Windsor. 😎

we we're able to just get a tour bus right in front of the ship when we whent on the ventura in april but we did have a little trouble as there was some sort of rally or something going on so the first bus whent round its route the opistev way and then the secound bus had to stop in the main sqaure for a while, also david got scared cause of the day progame telling us to be carefull of pick pockets so he did'nt want to get off the tour buses and actually explore but we still had a good time and again end up back at the ship early
Overall, I think we had our best day in Porto as we found a little musem with a darkride to do
hopefully david wont be as bad with our next cruise

Thought you’d like the Motorcycle. Those tarts are dangerous and you can easily smash loads of them if not careful. Lisbon was great, Porto is nicer…. You’d should try a short cruise, see if it floats your boat!? 😜
