Riverside Fire Department, Riverside Police Department responded to
a medical aid call regarding a woman with a knife. Air Support quickly
joined in to monitor from the air as RPD tried to peacefully handle the
situation. After about an hour the woman was safely taken into custody
without further incident and transported by AMR with minor injuries.
RPD searched the immediate area for anything that she may have
discarded. They did disarm her of a long of a blade.
