I am 69 and I still love clothes and fashion and make up. I do think the stylist was worth it. I loved so many outfits she created. That was well worth watching. Thank you.
I loved this video. I’m a 74 year old woman and, until just a few years ago, never had to think twice about what did or didn’t look good on me. I”m 5’1”, 125 pounds, but my waist has thickened and my bust is quite full. I too am very self conscious about belting anything even though I recognize that I really need that definition so my bust doesn’t give the illusion that I’m much heavier. Seeing that our concerns are very similar, I have to say you looked fantastic in all the belted outfits! Using the stylist was a brilliant decision. Your “look” is very classy and doesn’t look like you’re trying so hard …it looks effortless and comfortable.
(Melanie here) This was so interesting! I agree that the belt is fantastic for making the outfit look more stylish and to enhance your waistline. The more straight pants seem more flattering and make you look slimmer than the wide leg pants. You look great in the green dress and also with white, blue or black against your face.
Very helpful ideas here! The esthetic is very much my taste as well. I am overweight at the moment so don't like Anything on me. But this gives us great ideas of wha5 to so.Well worth whatever the stylist cost. You look beautiful!
Love that you’ve added these playful items like the Westwood bag and Stevie necklace to show personality and how you don’t take yourself so seriously. ❤
This was a terrific video. I’m going to be rewatching several times as I found it inspiring. I loved the wide black trousers. I was surprised at how much I liked the plisse trousers as well. Thank you for sharing the session.
Sitting here commenting in my cotton Uniqlo bra top! You look great in the outfits and the accessories really do look good! I am inspired to maybe put on a belt. I don't like to interrupt my vertical, but I can see that if the belt matches the dress, the buckle adds to the effect. I have some Mary Janes I need to wear too. Thanks!
I loved this, and yes it was very worth it. Thank you. All of the items looked lovely on you. However like you, if I just do not feel comfortable in an item, I have found that no matter how many times I fit it on, I just put it back on a hanger, and that's even more pronounced with items of footwear. I think these are the things that clutter up our closets. Thank you for doing the video. love from Ireland ❤
Great video Dez. My favorite, very favorite shoes were the black Mary Jane's. They made your outfits look so sleek and polished. My basic body shape is similar to yours. I wear birkenstocks around the house and by the pool. But if I'm going out anywhere I opt for sleeker footwear. I'm new to your channel but really enjoy it😊
Nice!!!! I think the Mary Janes are darling on you!!!! Sometimes we get a bit used to our neutral wardrobe and shy away from color but now and then a red shirt is the way to go ha and yes it was worth you having the session. Cheers
Some great ideas and so much fun. Your normal slim trousers with the black blazer looked great as did the black trainers and I thought the black dress with the Agnes B coat looked really stylish but, imho, steer clear of wide leg trousers and mint green, neither did you any favours, loved the black Dune sandals.
Thanks so much! Those Dune sandals are delectable, aren't they! And amazingly comfy given the heel height. I know what you mean about the mint green, but it's such a lovely colour. Maybe I'll stick to wearing at home 😉 And wide legs - the jury is still out 🙂. Thanks so much for watching!
Great video. I love the Birkenstock sandals, what colour are the ones you are wearing? (Might order) Mary Jane’s, I hate them, time to sell. Very helpful, I suit v necks and that necklace makes all the difference to a round neck top.
This is a brilliant video Dez. I have always thought that I would never need/ use a personal shopper/stylist as I feel quite confident in my clothes and clothing choices but this really opened my eyes to just how helpful this could be. Looking forward to watching your future videos as well as catching up on your previous ones- love from Jenny , a new subscriber x
Oh thank you so much Jenny, that's so kind of you to say and much appreciated! I really did find it useful and I'll be doing an update soon on what I have brought into my wardrobe since using Debs.
Wow. You looked great in those styles. Yes I do think using a stylist was special. You gave me hope that I can regenerate my closet. Thank u so much. And I do order from Quince. I just ordered a silk blouse in navy. It's beautiful. Last winter I ordered their cashmere crew neck sweater. They are reasonably priced and have the best return dept which I did have to use once. Great company
Oh Dez! This was wonderful! I loved seeing you in all these outfits she put together for you. I am just like you with belts. I shy away from them because I feel like they make my wide waist look wider. But I have to say, there were quite a few outfits with the belt that looked fantastic! And I also can relate to your hesitation in wearing the Mary Jane’s. When I have tried to wear them, I just feel like I can’t pull them off. But I thought they look great on you. I also think v-necks look amazing on you! That black v-neck dress is so flattering on you. You look like a million bucks! 🔥 Thanks for taking us along on this experience. This is one of my favorite videos!❤️
Oh Tina, thank you so so much! I am so in two minds about the Mary Janes - if I took a poll from the comments below, selling them would win hands down - but I might wait until autumn as they are black and likely to be more interest in them then. Agree about V necks - I used to wear them a lot but so many of my favourite brands of T shirts have been doing crews for the last few years. It was such a fun experience and I really got a lot out of it! Thanks again my dearest friend ❤️❤️❤️
Hello, I do find as I get older a slimmer shoe with a heel can really elevate an outfit especially with summer clothes whereas in the winter I love brogues and loafers with trousers and pencil skirts with semi opaque tights. My brain can’t handle patterns so I prefer stripes or small geometric shapes. It’s always interesting to see what stylists suggest. I think your own instincts are often a good guide as it’s what you feel most comfortable wearing regardless of trends and others opinions. I will look forward to seeing your next video. Thank you for your advice 🤗
So pleased to read that so many women are wearing pearls. I love my miki moto pearls given to me for my 21st birthday. I am now 77. I don't wear them often but there are definitely occasions when they look the part.
Love all of your outfits, investing in a great stylist is an absolute win… really want to try it too since a long time as well. You look so youthful, such a cool and classic style. I am in my mid fifties and are about to find my style after decades of trial and error. I am petite which I love now but was always struggling with before. Btw you look fabulous for your age, your attitude and style makes me look forward even more to enjoy every year I get older and look stylish and put together…. not to forget the fun and accomplished feeling when I found another effortless look for the everyday! I just found you and subscribed 😊of course!!!!
Oh Annette, thank you so much! I try not to think too much about my age even though I mention it regularly! It comes back to me when I’m on a zoom call and I see my droopy chin staring back at me 😏 but inside I still feel young.
Your stylist did fantastic! You looked beautiful in everything you already owned. You look so stylish with the belt for sure! The necklace is a must have accessory.
I avoid Black as much as possible except for accessories/accents. I think it pulls vitality and color out of the skin as we age. I prefer to stick to individually flattering colors and a variety of soft neutrals and denim.
I agree. I think it generally looks ageing. I wear black trousers but tend to avoid the colour near my face unless the fabric has a particular flattering texture.
I loved this styling video Dez. I think your stylist did a grand job and it was worth it. You look great in all the outfits but understand that if you don’t feel totally comfortable you probably won’t pick out certain things. I have definitely bought clothes which are mistakes. Wish I could wear belts. Yours looks good. 🌷🌷
The algorithm just showed me your video. Definitely worthwhile to have a stylist to bring out the best in your clothes. Anytime you wear the belt the outfit is elevated and you look so much more put together. Love the Mary Jane shoes, they look good on you! Love the color bag, it looks summery and the little pop of color was refreshing in this season. Wear your dark bags in autumn and winter. What happened to the red blouse?
Thank you! I sent the red blouse back, but I bought a gorgeous red T-shirt in the same shade which I'll be showing in a video very soon. Thanks so much for your thoughts- I have emptied the Vivienne bag of my sewing kit and plan to wear it now!
Hi, Dez. What a fun video to watch! I really enjoyed seeing you in your various outfits -- Debs obviously knows her stuff. What was the final verdict on the red shirt? Did she play around with it as well? Personally, I *love* that shirt. Red is one of "my colours", and with your colouring, I think it would look amazing on you!
Thanks so much! Yes, Debs was so knowledgeable but also really fun to spend time with. I decided to send the red shirt back because it was so oversized and the fabric was quite stiff, so I'm on the hunt for another red top but a more fitted and forgiving one.
I think the mary janes are interesting and unique looking. I think Icon Accidental would def wear them. :) I loved lots of those looks in the video at the end as well!
Oh Gosh Dez, i loved All the Photos of the way she dressed you, and the bag really added that bit of 'something' and loved all the shoes with the different clothes especially the white shoes with the green dress, and the MJ black shoes with the first dress is a big yes, you look so young in the black dress, I find black makes me look older!! You're so lucky to be able to wear it!!! Loved the black skirt with the blue/green shirt, that looked fantasic!!❤❤❤
Hi Dez - you look beautiful in that green dress and I love that Vivienne Westwood bag. The blue top & black skirt look good and I like the beige trousers with the belt. I was surprised how good a belt looked on me but I’m still not totally comfortable wearing them. Great video ❤️ xx
Thanks so much Karen! Yes, belts - I am still unsure, but that's probably because we may have the same hangups about our waists 😉 but I'm going to keep practising! I do love the green dress, I just wish the weather was better so I could wear the blimmin thing!
Best advice is to photograph every outfit to remind us of the combinations and how they look and how we felt in them...makes getting dressed and choosing so much easier.
Normally I am not a fan of Mary Janes but yours are edgy enough that I would wear them I loved them with the narrow black pants and big blazer. I could really use a stylist now as I have scoliosis, major back surgery and a protruding stomach.... oh and bilateral mastectomy without reconstruction! I have decided I will have to make my own clothes now as I am just not a standard size. I still love to feel well put together at 72 but it is a bit of an effort to work out how to wear some of my clothes!
Oh my gosh, that’s tough ❤️. If you have are able it might be worth trying an online styling session. Apart from the one I used there’s Alyssa Beltempo on TH-cam and there are others I’m sure. Thanks so much for watching and hope you have a good week ❤️
Interesting. I think there are some lessons to be learned here. You do suit a belt- it's just picking the correct width and style. You don't suit all black but you look great in black and white. You look amazing in those jewel blue and green colours. Another TH-camr has a saying to use when shopping " if it's not a hell yes! It's a no" and I think that's true" .
I really enjoyed this video. I think the outfits with a belt under a jacket/cardigan looked really good on you. I hope you find a way to wear that gorgeous red shirt.
Hello Dez, Congratulations on doing something different and having a styling session. I can see the improvement with the belt and shoulder pads. I loved the oversized jacket. I like very much the Mary Janes. I think they bring a modern touch to your outfits. They make you look younger, more updated if you will. (Your fitted trousers... I think you should leave them in the closet) Wide leg trousers definitely look more updated.
Hello, my gorgeous friend. Great day for me to watchva fashion video, sitting here in my sweatpants and tee shirt! Love the 1st look with the jacket, and the 2nd with trainers. I like the Maryjanes! You look vibrant in the green dress. Love the black dress with the bag and your mom's scarf. Your brown jacket is fabulous. It looks wonderful with everything. I'm not crazy about the pink shirt on top of the skirt. I'd do a front tuck with the oversized sweater and wide pants. Once again, the brown jacket works well. Love the wide leg trousers on you. Definite yes black blazer, belt and pants. The trainers look great with the outfit. Debs did a fabulous job. You look wonderful in the outfit she put together. Thank you so much for sharing your experience. Much love❣️🩷🩷
Thanks dearest Rene! I'm still on the fence about the Mary Janes but I will give them another outing or two, see how I get on. Yes a front tuck is a good idea with the wide legs. Have a great week - back in London now and the weather is cool - ho hum 🙂❤️❤️❤️
The Maryjanes look so cute. I'd definitely wear them. I hope you enjoyed your getaway. There's a nip in the air here as well, but i do believe by the end of the week, we're going into the 90s! The weather has been so unpredictable. Have a wonderful day. Stay warm! Hugs ❤❤@beautybydez
The clothes the stylist brought together really suited you! You look young and modern and the Mary Janes were fab and Im sure comfortable to get around in - because in the end, comfort is very important The stylist was well worth the money!!
It is yes, it’s from Arket - link should be in description box, but it’s from 2022 so might not be available now. Let me know if you can’t find it - I’ll do my best to find a similar one.
Hi Dez - I love your Mary Jane’s - they look so cool. I have the Hush version in black and cream - they’re so soft and comfortable. I’ve tried wide leg trousers and just can’t get on with them. The widest I’ll go is the M&S cigarette jeans 😂 which I adore. Honestly think you look amazing in your slimmer trousers and love your birkies. I really like the white trainers, but if the black keep sticking with you flog them on Vinted 😊 PS you look fabulous in everything ❤
You have great slim legs & arms, makes all the difference when styling an outfit. I'm slim in body but have stocky legs & arms, which limits what I can wear. Really enjoyed watching your personal stylist session..gave me food for thought!
I too am 69 and just discovered your channel. The video was very interesting. I do think you looked great in the belted outfits. i also liked the Mary Janes on you. I must confess that I bought a pair of double strap, navy blue patent Mary Janes this spring after seeing them multiple times on Beth Djalali's blog. Her daughter-in-law styled hers numerous times on the blog and I was captivated by the look. I will say that I feared that I might look like mutton dressing as lamb in the style, but I really like them on myself. My legs are one of my best features and I think the Mary Janes help to bring my outfit focus down to them. Thanks for a great, educational video.
Thanks so very much! Re the belt, I wore it yesterday for a lunch with girlfriends, but I have to admit I took it off half way through as I felt it accentuated my large tum! Your Mary Janes sound lovely and agree they can really enhance a shapely leg ❤️
I love my black trainers I've got black with white stripes and white ones with black stripes I wear my black ones with darker outfits and my white ones with lighter outfits they look great with cropped trousers and also cigarette style trousers maxi skirt any length skirts really and wide leg trousers too ❤
It was a very interesting session. I have to admit, though, that red blouse that you showed, I thought it was absolutely stunning. And for myself, I would have paired it with a pair of white skinny jeans and the white sandals you had. If I wanted it more of a casual look, I would have paired it with the same white skinny jeans and your white trainers. I would have also paired a beautiful red multi stranded glass beads for a necklace with earrings to match. I have a few what I call signature styles that I wear for summer. It makes it easier for me. I love striking vibrant colors , like fuchsia, beautiful jewel-toned colors. I love that sort of stuff. (Probably because I'm an artist!😊) I'll look for jewelry that will match it as well. I don't typically follow the trends. I usually stick with vintage styles that I know I look good in and feel comfortable in. My style is brighter colors because ever since menopause, and I don't have to deal with menstrual cycles anymore, the colors that I choose now are all fairly bright colors. I wear an occasional black jeans casually and dresses for a dressy Night Time Events. But other than that, I barely wear black at all, but it was a great thing to have done for yourself, Dez , I'm sure it was fun for you.❤
Im in my mid 50's and the styling outfits aside I think you could have your hair analysed. You need body in the top and the thin ends cut off and a lightener put in around your face, See a hair stylist (that will not cut it short!) and I think they call it a trichologist? to help thicken the hair. I believe rose hip oil and biotin help..well I use it and it's helped! Bon chance mon amie!
Interesting about my hair! It is looking a bit lank, but I do take a zinc supplement for it, subscribed by my GP - biotin didn't work. I am planning to get a balayage later this month which might make it look a bit thicker 🙂
What surprised me was the cream trousers, cream top and black belt with black jacket and cream shoes. I would never have thought of putting a black belt with that outfit but it worked really well and rather than chopping you in half, it gave you shape and made you look slimmer. I always avoid cream, but I think matching a jacket to the belt works well. I might try this out! It’s definitely worth having these sessions because in general it gives great ideas, refreshes the wardrobe, determines what’s missing and ultimately helps with having a more put together look.
Yes, I think the stylist was a great idea! I was hoping you were going to integrate that vibrant red dress in, I think you would look great in it! I loved you in the green dress with the Westwood bag, it really popped. Also, the blue top looked beautiful. While you have a staple of black in your wardrobe, have you thought of transitioning to Navy, its still a neutral but as we age is more "light" on our skin tones. I've transitioned ( I'm in my mid-60's) to Navy, aubergine, camel, soft grays, merlot hued tones, plus browns. I noted the tonal elements of the browns with the blacks looked great. Also, the scarf added a nice pop of color. I think you look quite nice in colors.
Thank you so much! And actually, I have been "leaning in" to navy lately - I bought a gorgeous navy dress from Cos and a navy cotton jacket - and having recently lightened my hair, I think it works well. I will experiment more with colour, I promise!
@@beautybydez Thanks for your comment! You looked great in all the clothes, I agree with others you look good with the belted look. Also, the large black blazer in the last couple of photos looked great as well.
I think it’s the buckles on those Mary Jane’s for me - not a huge fan, but they are a staple. I really liked them with the trousers and oversized blazer. I’m still getting used to how to style the larger silhouettes on the bottom. Love your style - and the idea of more purposeful choices and not buy buy buy
I think it all depends on how thin you are! When I was thin, I could wear anything, but now at 66 and almost 1.5 sizes larger..I have gained weight evenly all over, not in a specific place…it is hard to wear 70% of my lovely wardrobe. I am often confused and go for only 2% of what I have to wear. Thanks for the ideas and your lovely videos!
You look fantastic in all the outfits -- polished and very stylish. I have an hourglass frame but it's a challenge to find something attractive and age appropriate. It's easy to attract the wrong kind of attention even at 60.
@@beautybydez No, I never show that though you'd think it was what I was doing! I get unwanted attention when I emphasize my small waist and ribcage with a wrap top or dress. If I don't have waist emphasis, I look pregnant. It's a difficult balance. An hourglass shape has a lot of challenges.
If you are bored with monochrome colour palette try texture if you are not ready for colour silk knits denims cotton's furs even if you wear one colour top to toe different textures makes it interesting suede patent leather ❤
PLEASE be 100% sure about the Mary Janes with that black dress it looks perfect!
Agree ❤
I agree, to
How lovely to see someone being helped to get more out of what they’ve already got.❤
I am 69 and I still love clothes and fashion and make up. I do think the stylist was worth it. I loved so many outfits she created. That was well worth watching. Thank you.
Birkies are my worst nightmare sorry Dez! Lovely video, fab stylist!
Yes, they are comfortable but really ugly. Try Vionic or Clarks. They have better looking shoes that are comfortable.
The Mary Janes outclass the Birkies by a mile
Totally agree
Those Mary Jane’s are super cute actually.
Thank you - I need to practice wearing them more.
I loved this video. I’m a 74 year old woman and, until just a few years ago, never had to think twice about what did or didn’t look good on me. The belt is a huge improvement.
Wow! Loved the outfit with the blazer and the mary janes!
Thank you - they seem to work well together!
I love all the looks with the with the belt ~ the belt really suits you. Some really lovely outfit looks there! X
Thanks so much! I need to practice wearing it ❤️
This was wonderful!!! What you learned is good info for all of us!!! 🎉🎉🎉
The belt is definitely a winner and the necklace, just shows how accessories can transform an outfit x
Completely - I've never been great at accessorising, and back in the day I could be seen fairly regularly in Bet Lynch style earrings 😉
Love that you’ve added these playful items like the Westwood bag and Stevie necklace to show personality and how you don’t take yourself so seriously. ❤
All the outfits looked fantastic. I loved the Mary-janes, they looked really fashionable.
I’d ditch those Birkenstock shoes and sandals, you look great in the Mary Jane’s and trainers. You look fab in the black trousers and jacket 👍👏
Thank you - I must admit the Berkies have taken a bit of a back seat lately!
Love the styles with belt. It looks more put together and shows your shape off!❤️
Thank you ❤️
This was a terrific video. I’m going to be rewatching several times as I found it inspiring. I loved the wide black trousers. I was surprised at how much I liked the plisse trousers as well. Thank you for sharing the session.

Have enjoyed seeing you clothes combinations....lovely ideas...thank you❤
I think Debs did an amazing job. You look absolutely darling in all of your outfits. I need to do this. Thank you for sharing!
Aww thanks so much - and she was such a delight to spend time with!
The VW bag is lovely! Looked great.
Great video Dez
Thanks so much Keren!

LOVE LOVE LOVE the Mary Janes x
Thanks! I should probably keep them then 😉❤️
Great styling. I love the outfits.
I enjoyed watching to the end
Thank you ❤️

LOL - those poor Mary Janes are getting a pasting 😉- Vinted is calling! My birkies are in Faded Khaki (the close toed ones) and Taupe in the slides.
Totally agree they make legs look shorter !
Love the "sewing" bag! Especially with the green dress.
Thanks Gems!

Debs’ ideas were very cool!
Really enjoyed the stylist. She did a great job. Reminded me of things I have and how to use them. Thank you❤
Oh I'm so glad!
Very interesting Dez, you look great, what a lovely thing to do, and very successful. 😊
Thanks Marjorie, it was a real treat!
What a great idea! This was fun to watch and even gave me some ideas 😊
Oh good - so glad it was useful! I had a lot of fun doing it ❤️
This was really refreshing, invigorating and encouraging to watch.! I need to remake my personal fashion as a new wido at 72.❤
Thank you so much!

Dez, this looked like so much fun! I loved the belt with the over sized blazer! And amazing how a few necklaces can transform the look.

I agree the belt makes you look so much slimmer and gives you a lovely shape
@@beautybydez I'm glad you haven't given up on red! I hope you'll show your new top to us when you find it. 💗
I think the mary janes are interesting and unique looking. I think Icon Accidental would def wear them. :) I loved lots of those looks in the video at the end as well!
You're right - she would! Thank you ❤️
You could tuck the top in the trousers will draw the eye. From the middle makes it look narrower
I am trying to do that more often!
Thanks so very much, Lynette! I always gravitate to black whenever I'm not sure what to wear - it's definitely my primary colour!
Do you know what, I've just started doing that - late to the game, but a great idea!
I really thought the belts were quite flattering on you in several of those outfits! 😊
Oh thank you!
the V neck was awesome on you! More like that!
The black trainers & Mary Jane’s with the wide leg trousers make your legs look longer and overall more up to date - prefer them to the Berkie mules
I think you're right- not sure if the Berkie mules are keepers 🙂
I looloooove the maryjanes!
I think a pair of bright colour sandals and/or bag, possibly red or green would really suit you and lift your neutral outfits.
Agree! Still struggling with the belt idea - but I'm practising!
Thanks for sharing this!
Thanks so much for watching!
The black skirt w jacket belt & rust bag looks amazing! You do have a waist👍🏻
The straight leg and skinny leg pants look much better than the wide leg trousers.
Definitely agree, I absolutely hate wide leg trousers, for me at least skinny leg trousers look so much better on me.
The v neck looks good
You look fabulous in that black & white coat with the black dress! Please give it a try.😍👍🇨🇦👏🏼
I really enjoyed this video. I think the outfits with a belt under a jacket/cardigan looked really good on you. I hope you find a way to wear that gorgeous red shirt.
Thank you so much! I confess I sent the red shirt back but am trying to find something less oversized but in the same shade.
Thanks so much! It was very helpful and I am now a work in progress 🙂
Great video!
The clothes the stylist brought together really suited you!
You look young and modern and the Mary Janes were fab and Im sure comfortable to get around in - because in the end, comfort is very important
The stylist was well worth the money!!
The green long linen dress is stunning❤ Is it from the UK?💚
It is yes, it’s from Arket - link should be in description box, but it’s from 2022 so might not be available now. Let me know if you can’t find it - I’ll do my best to find a similar one.
Hi Dez - I love your Mary Jane’s - they look so cool. I have the Hush version in black and cream - they’re so soft and comfortable. I’ve tried wide leg trousers and just can’t get on with them. The widest I’ll go is the M&S cigarette jeans 😂 which I adore. Honestly think you look amazing in your slimmer trousers and love your birkies. I really like the white trainers, but if the black keep sticking with you flog them on Vinted 😊
PS you look fabulous in everything ❤
Ooh Fi, thank you! LOL on the M&S jeans - I've just bought a pair of M&S boyfriends, which are rather nice. Thank goodness for Vinted, eh?!
You have great slim legs & arms, makes all the difference when styling an outfit. I'm slim in body but have stocky legs & arms, which limits what I can wear. Really enjoyed watching your personal stylist session..gave me food for thought!
Thank you so much! I so wish I had a waist like Helen Mirren's 😉
I love my black trainers I've got black with white stripes and white ones with black stripes I wear my black ones with darker outfits and my white ones with lighter outfits they look great with cropped trousers and also cigarette style trousers maxi skirt any length skirts really and wide leg trousers too ❤
Yes, I think that's the way to go ❤️
Excited to watch! ❤
Thanks Tamara, it was a fun experience!
@@beautybydez This was so fun! Thank you for sharing your experience!
Unlike some others I really loathe Mary Jane's but ultimately it's how you feel about them that counts 😊
This is fab, definitely worth it. I'd love to have a stylist come and do this for me, but I don't see stylists that resonate with my style.
Happy Sunday💜
And to you Cindy! Just on my way home from the frozen North on the train! Sitting with some Swifties 😃
But other than that, I barely wear black at all, but it was a great thing to have done for yourself, Dez , I'm sure it was fun for you.❤
Great idea loved it all .
Thank you so much!
Would also love to see what another stylist would come up with using the exact same wardrobe.
That would be very interesting!
Hi Dez , how much fun ❤
Agree - I need to "lean in" to the belt wearing! I've since bought a cream bag - I guess I'm leaning into that too 🙂❤️
Yes, I think the stylist was a great idea!
That's exactly my problem, the bottom parts! I don't know how I feel about slim shoes with large bottoms, so to speak! Thanks so much ❤️
I think it all depends on how thin you are!
Thanks so much! Agree size has a lot to do with - I am fine up top but my tum is a constant problem area which I struggle to solve 😉
You look fantastic in all the outfits -- polished and very stylish. I have an hourglass frame but it's a challenge to find something attractive and age appropriate. It's easy to attract the wrong kind of attention even at 60.
Aww thanks so much! And yes, too much cleavage is probably a no-no 😉
@@beautybydez No, I never show that though you'd think it was what I was doing! I get unwanted attention when I emphasize my small waist and ribcage with a wrap top or dress. If I don't have waist emphasis, I look pregnant. It's a difficult balance. An hourglass shape has a lot of challenges.
I think Dansko sandal heels, and v necks would look nice. Go shopping. Narrow pants are better.
I've taken the v necks on board!
❤ helpful TY
Thanks Judy!
When you wear v-necks or the combination of necklaces, you bring attention up to your face. It's quite flattering for you.
Thank you!
The Mary Jane's would have been better in a colour silver sandals I bought some wedges from Clarks
If you are bored with monochrome colour palette try texture if you are not ready for colour silk knits denims cotton's furs even if you wear one colour top to toe different textures makes it interesting suede patent leather ❤
That's a great idea - I think I tend to have a lot of garments of similar texture - I need to mix it up a bit.
@@beautybydez have fun with it 🥰
Wear v necks, they look fabulous on you. I love the Mary Jane’s and the Trainers in black. And belts definitely suit you
Thank you so much - I will!
