Are you tired of Google Analytics 4? It is frustrating & seems too limiting, right? Especially for e-commerce. It's really hard to get anything useful from it...
Well, I'm creating an alternative to Google Analytics 4. It's made for e-commerce by e-commerce specialists. TLDR - Weekly email reports based on your role - Ecommerce specific reports (e.g. Products bought together, retention cohorts, bestsellers & many more) - Clear metrics & easy to use (designed for non-data people) - Works on top GA4 infrastructure (datalayer) - No cookies & choose US or EU hosting Join the waiting list & be the first to use it. -> clicksdontlie.com/ecommerce-analytics?comments
@@clicksdontliebut how does someone do the same with a Landing page? I hope you don’t mind, but I tried generating the UTM code for a Landing page but I can’t add the page to Google Analytics, says it isn’t a valid URL
Thank you Robert, very helpful ... I'm going to create the UTM tackling links today and see if they show up tomorrow. This will be for social media so I'm trying to figure out how to best organzie them.
It's great to hear that! Using the UTMs, you'll be able to tell which post brought traffic to your site. If you just want to know if they came from specific social media, then you don't need the UTMs. GA4 should know.
@@clicksdontlie I created them but can't find them in Google Analytics. I would think so too but I ran socials for a Spa and I feel like it's not really capturing the traffic coming from Instagram and Facebook.
I tried using the generator as well as creating the link manually. But no matter what, it doesn't appear in Google Analytics. Would you have an idea what I'm doing wrong? WEBSITE? WEBSITE?utm WEBSITE? These are the ones I tried. Waited for about 15-20 minutes and tried different browsers and send some to friends to test other router IPs. Nothing works :D
Hi Andreas, two things 1. it takes 24h for GA4 to process data properly (the real-time reports are not good with UTMs, I just tested them) 2. Use a source GA4 will recognize (otherwise, it will place them in an unassigned channel group; you can see the campaign as a "test." So something like website.com? I hope this helps!

@@enonone_4rm_OAU Did you use the tool to create it? You can also just give an example of the URL here, I can check what's wrong...
Does the UTM Parameters slow down the website in any sort of way?
noup :) In theory the google analytics script might slowdown a bit, but in most cases it's negligible
