    4:25 Recognise the double standard when muslims throw Arabic at you & expect you to understand it , or shut up if you dont
    by the way , I AM GREEK , yet I dont expect people to know my language , and if people enjoy the Homeric Epics in their own language via translations for example , I would be delighted , instead of being pissed off and claiming that the translations are corrupted and that you can only understand it in the original

      @@IslamCritiqued My brother, you are strengthening Christians who are going out in their communities and neighbourhoods and evangelising to Muslims that are moving in. Brother, your work is strengthening churches while bringing shame to other “churches” that pander to Islam. Many “churches” fooled their congregations into believing that Muslims believe in the same God or that you have to be nice to Islam and Mohammed because they teach “good values” or that Islam is a “good” religion. Your work strengthens the church and opens the eyes of Christians to what Islam really is and what it does to the souls of their people and how it separates them from God. The Christians who watch your videos will be much better equipped to engage Muslims. As Paul said, I am Greek to the Greek and Jew to the Jew, so he could evangelize to them with their culture in mind so they understand. God bless you 🙏🙏🙏.

    The one argument I’ve never understood with Muslims is they claim that the Bible is corrupt but then they say that they are commanded to read the Bible so I’m like which Bible do you read and the answer I’ve always got is the uncorrupted one 🤣

    • @wishyouthebest9222
      @wishyouthebest9222 5 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      The bible they read got lost, so they decided to memorize it *WITHOUT ERROR* , because... such things like 'without error' in regards to humans capabilities is natural to the muslim mindset.
      I beat my breast and declare: "God, have mercy on my brothers and sisters and me, we are full of errors..."

    • @kelvinpragassa4871
      @kelvinpragassa4871 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      There's a little error in this. Yes they are commanded to go to the people of the book in certain situations but then again they are told not to associate with them or be like them afterwards and also encouraged not to read the bible..
      One of the many huge errors of allah and his messenger

    We, Christians, Muslims, Atheist, can all discuss on the existence of a God.
    But even if we take for guaranteed that all religions come from man and not from God.
    Even at that point, we can sill focus this essential difference :
    Christianity tells to love everyone even the ennemies.
    Islam is hate against the infidels(Jews, Christian, Hindus), hate against apostate, even hate against Muslim that think differently of them.
    Islam is submission, not to God but to a Caliph !

    I am a huge fan of Dan Wallace's work. Muslims like to cite Ehrman to support their false standard while failing to acknowledge that this standard they apply does nothing but refute their own claims they make about Quranic preservation. You couldn't make these Muslims up.

      Ehrman- terminal degree from Princeton, studied under the late, great Bruce Metzger. Most muslims know his name.
      Michael Holmes- terminal degree from Princeton, studied under the late, great Bruce Metzger. Has done tons of NT work, including the SBL edition of the greek NT. Dedicated Christian. No muslim knows his name.

    Excellent video brother!
    It's also important to understand the mission of early Christians was to get the Good News out as fast as possible to as many people as possible. They didn't have professional scribes like the Masoretes with their meticulous system of transmitting the text. They were persecuted and poor and they didn't have unlimited writing materials or even at times the best writing materials. It would have been detrimental to the cause for them to throw away whole manuscripts that had minor spelling differences or that arranged certain words in a different order (without effecting the meaning of the passage of course).

    • @IslamCritiqued
      @IslamCritiqued  6 ปีที่แล้ว +12

      Yes, and in spite of the uncontrolled, open transmission, numerous book burnings and persecution of the church, 2.6 million pages of greek manuscripts remain. It's incredible stuff.

    • @1nemind
      @1nemind 6 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      Yes, it's incredible how He providentially preserved His Word! And to go along with all of those Greek manuscripts we also have thousands in Syriac, Latin, Coptic, etc.
      It's crazy that some Muslims will claim (they of course have no choice unless they are willing to abandon their faith) that the NT was corrupted AFTER the Quran was written! That's impossible. Do they actually believe that someone was able to gather all of those manuscripts and change/edit them? Unfortunately they haven't really thought out many of their arguments...

    Your videos are on point tracking. Very educational channel.
    I studied Sunni Islam full time daily, as a scholar, for seven years.
    While I was studying everyday, all day, and living in a Sunni community, I was praying asking God to reveal to me the unadulterated truth.
    My full time study of Islam ☪ led me to despise the character of Muhammad, to see he could never be God's most perfect man, to see he was not someone I'd want to emulate and to see that he was obviously a false prophet based upon evidence in the hadith.
    I began studying the gospels of Y'e'shua Christ Jesus while fasting y praying.
    I realized Y'e'shua Christ Jesus was the most perfect man to ever live, someone I'd want to emulate, and I believed His word to be Holy y true. Y'e'shua Christ Jesus is the way, truth and life.
    Then early one morning a man appeared in my room, pointing up toward my ceiling, and he spoke to me as if his voice was inside my left ear, and he told me 3 times, "Jesus is coming."
    After what seemed like a very long time he disappeared when I was blinking my eyes and I was immediately able to sit up and move my limbs again.
    He must've been an angel. I know now without any doubt that Y'e'shua Christ Jesus is real! And He is coming back for His sheep!
    I'm willing to gladly be beheaded by Muslims and set free from this world cause I know for fact Y'E'shua Christ Jesus is real and that means His promises are real!
    I hope that Muslims blow me up or behead me so I can go be in heaven for eternity with Lord Y'e'shua Christ Jesus💜♣🦋
    I am a poor wayfaring stranger. Isa hu akbar!

    Thank you, this video is very helpful. I hope it reaches to those gullible Muslims who claim all sorts of things about the Gospel.
    But I disagree with you, I think Muhammad is mentioned in the Bible, just take a look at this -
    "Watch out for false prophets. They come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ferocious wolves. By their fruit you will recognize them." (Matthew 7:15-16)
    😮😮😮
    Any desperate attempt from Muslims trying to show that Muhammad is mentioned in the Bible, leads only to prove him, a false prophet - for instance : Once I heard Zakir Naik citing Isaiah 29:12 to prove Muhammad is mentioned in the Bible.
    I couldn't control myself when he referred to that verse! What in the world Zakir Naik thought? He by quoting that verse proved Muhammad is a false prophet. Period.

    Speaking for the Greek Orthodox side no it is not corrupted. People need to be re-educated in ancient Greek which is a feat in itself hence the possible confusions.
    You say it well.
    Greek is probably the hardest language in the world as it does not only have a Male and Female identity for the words but also neutral and thus the grammar gets more confusing. At least its confusing to ppl who don't know Greek. Ancient Greek is a better form that what today is classed as Modern Greek.

    6 I am astonished that you are so quickly deserting the one who called you to live in the grace of Christ and are turning to a different gospel- 7 which is really no gospel at all. Evidently some people are throwing you into confusion and are trying to pervert the gospel of Christ. 8 But even if we or an angel from heaven should preach a gospel other than the one we preached to you, let them be under God’s curse! 9 As we have already said, so now I say again: If anybody is preaching to you a gospel other than what you accepted, let them be under God’s curse!
    10 Am I now trying to win the approval of human beings, or of God? Or am I trying to please people? If I were still trying to please people, I would not be a servant of Christ.

    The Arabic word for God is NOT Allah.
    Muslims know the Shahada and it's evident in the shahada.
    In Arabic the word "ilah" means god.
    The word Allah is a proper noun and is the personal name of the ilah of Mohammed.
    In ancient Arabia the moon god , was named Allah and he had three daughters whom were also worshipped and prayed to as ilah.
    In fact, in the early prophecies of Muhammad he tells the Arab people to pray to Allah and to his three deity daughters also.
    Later Muhammad recanted this commandment.
    Islam still uses the ancient Crescent moon ☪ symbol of the pagan ilah called Allah and fast during the same ancient moon phase of the ilah named Allah.
    Still bow toward the qabba that housed pagan idols of the ilah named Allah and his three ilah daughters.
    Still circumvent the pagan qabba and kiss the black stone in Mecca as part of worship during haj.
    Wherever a Muslim stands on the earth they must face towards the direction of the qabba in Mecca to bow y pray during salat.
    So " ilah " means god. Allah is a personal name of an ilah of ancient Arabia that predates Islam and is represented by the ☪ moon symbol.
    The pagan Arabic ilah named Allah also had three daughters whom were also ilah to the pagan Arabs of pre-islamic times.
    Muhammad also prophecied eating seven ajwa dates would protect against poisoning then he died by being poisoned. Evidence of his being a false prophet? Or evidence that he was deceived by Allah? (whom Mohammed called the ilah named Allah the greatest of decievers).
    Isa hu akbar!

    • @someguy9571

      @Omar El Cheikh Okay, so you are referring go the "good news", the gospel _message_ that Jesus taught.
      I am familiar with what Islam teaches about Jesus/"Isa", and I am familiar with the gnostic claims that He never was crucified. However, all of the earliest and most reliable sources, from the Gospel accounts, the letters of the apostle Paul, to writings of historians such as Josephus or Tacitus testify to Jesus being crucifed under the orders of Pontius Pilate. The Gnostic claims of a psuedo-crucifixion came later, from less reliable sources.
      Jesus came to the lost sheep of Israel firstly, but then He told His disciples to go and spread the Gospel to ALL people., obviously indicating that the gospel message he preached applied to every human walking the Earth.

      @Lily Me This verse is talking about ejaculation, not sperm production. Note that, these 2 are 2 different biological processes controlled differently. For ejaculation, nerve stimulation and muscle contraction both are needed. The nerve impulse is carried out from brain to the male reproductive organ. These nerves include both the spinal nerve (located inside our backbone) and the branch of spinal nerves that are encompassing our ribs (intercostal nerves) which goes up to the reproductive system. These nerves are responsible for passing sensory information as well as muscle contraction that results in ejaculation. Any questions

    I have a message that I’m sharing where I can, some may not want to hear this, but I ask that we stay polite and seek truth together. 😊
    Love is an action. Feed the hungry, house the homeless, father the orphan, and protect the defenseless and vulnerable.
    Read the Word for yourself, not only relying on others for guidance. Pray for guidance.Yahushua/Yeshua - His Hebrew name who is usually called (Jesus) taught to keep the whole Word. Including the Law/Torah. Matthew 5:17 “Do not presume that I came to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I did not come to abolish, but to fulfill. 18 For truly I say to you, until heaven and earth pass away, not [g]the smallest letter or stroke of a letter shall pass from the Law, until all is accomplished! 19 Therefore, whoever nullifies one of the least of these commandments, and teaches [h]others to do the same, shall be called least in the kingdom of heaven; but whoever [i]keeps and teaches them, he shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven." Read 1 John. John tells us that sin is lawlessness, and that we must keep the commandments. Trust in the atonement of Yahushua/Yeshua who is usually called Jesus, and keep God (YHWH)'s whole Word/commandments. Revelation 12:17 So the dragon was enraged with the woman, and went off to make war with the rest of her children, who keep the commandments of God and hold to the testimony of Jesus. Revelation 14:12 Here is the perseverance of the saints who keep the commandments of God and their faith in Jesus. Go to parableofthevineyard youtube channel for information about the bible and good bible studies. I'm in no way paid or sent by him for advertising. I just have learned a lot from his content. He's just a man who is trying to learn as well. :) Yeshua died so we may be resurrected to eternal life............../

    Amen. Jesus did not come with a book from God. Jesus is the gospel. The Qur'an even says of the fake Isa that he IS word of Allah.
    The word of God is eternal. Jesus was not made at the time of incarnation as the corrupting [square bracket] additions to the Qur'an make out, illiterately adding their own conjecture and deceiving Muslims reliant on translations from knowing the true plain text of the Qur'an.
    Jesus is the gospel. The sign for ALL MANKIND.

    • @IslamCritiqued
      @IslamCritiqued  6 ปีที่แล้ว +6

      This is reasonable since those surat contain a high density of extra-Quranic material that predates the 7th century. The Birmingham folio is only 2 pages (Surah 18:17-31, 19:91-98; 20:1-40). Dated by Oxford to 568-645AD. Has not gained support by islamic scholars because it is plausibly earlier than the Uthmanic revision (652), even assuming the later dating. Includes the seven sleepers of Ephesus (18:17-31), Proto-Evangelium of James and Pseudo Gospel of Matthew (19:91-98) and the story of Moses (20:1-40).
      This folio illustrates the typical borrowing of sources that Muhammad was famous for.

    BTW I believe in good without religion
    10:17
    You should show the full part from
    Sahih Muslim 2286 or at least say the reason of this speech.
    This was a speech for Three hundred Quran reader
    Here is the full speech:
    Abu Harb b. Abu al-Aswad reported on the authority of his father that Abu Musa al-Ash'ari sent for the reciters of Basra. They came to him and they were three hundred in number. They recited the Qur'an and he said: You are the best among the inhabitants of Basra, for you are the reciters among them. So continue to recite it. (But bear in mind) that your reciting for a long time may not harden your hearts as were hardened the hearts of those before you. We used to recite a surah which resembled in length and severity to (Surah) Bara'at. I have, however, forgotten it with the exception of this which I remember out of it:" If there were two valleys full of riches, for the son of Adam, he would long for a third valley, and nothing would fill the stomach of the son of Adam but dust." And we used so recite a slirah which resembled one of the surahs of Musabbihat, and I have forgotten it, but remember (this much) out of it:" Oh people who believe, why do you say that which you do not practise" (lxi 2.) and" that is recorded in your necks as a witness (against you) and you would be asked about it on the Day of Resurrection" (xvii. 13).
    And in bukhari 2419
    You show only few words without saying the story behind it
    And this the full story
    Narrated `Umar bin Al-Khattab:
    I heard Hisham bin Hakim bin Hizam reciting Surat-al-Furqan in a way different to that of mine. Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) had taught it to me (in a different way). So, I was about to quarrel with him (during the prayer) but I waited till he finished, then I tied his garment round his neck and seized him by it and brought him to Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) and said, "I have heard him reciting Surat-al-Furqan in a way different to the way you taught it to me." The Prophet (ﷺ) ordered me to release him and asked Hisham to recite it. When he recited it, Allah s Apostle said, "It was revealed in this way." He then asked me to recite it. When I recited it, he said, "It was revealed in this way. The Qur'an has been revealed in seven different ways, so recite it in the way that is easier for you."

    Just an observation having watched a few of your videos now. When it comes to defending the integrity of the Bible, I’ve yet to see you address an issue which is at least worthy of consideration. That is, I’ve yet to see you address the two main manuscript families used to translate the Bible into modern native languages, which are either from the critical/Alexandrian or the majority/Byzantine text types. You seem to be a critical text guy, which once you go down that rabbit hole you will find the two main manuscripts used to translate most modern bibles come from the critical text, and the critical text traces its origins back to a couple of shady figures by the names of Westcott and Hort. The critical/Alexandrian texts are of more recent origin, and there are reasons to have some suspicion on the integrity of those manuscripts once you look into it. I’d like to see you address this issue, or at least look into it if you haven’t already. Perhaps your Muslim viewers would at least like to know about this controversy, as well as your Christian one’s who aren’t aware of this. If you have covered this topic then I at least hope to draw attention to this issue, as its definitely worth knowing about.

    • @IslamCritiqued
      @IslamCritiqued  4 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      "The critical/Alexandrian texts are of more recent origin," this statement alone is confused and confusing. Why do you equate critical with Alexandrian? (And why don't you make a distinction between majority and Byzantine?) And why do you think that Alexandrian are "more recent"? What exactly is "recent"? And more recent than what? If you honestly want information, as your comment comes across as uninformed, I recommend this: www.amazon.com/Stanley-Porter-ebook/dp/B00G9B2RNC/ref=sr_1_1?dchild=1&keywords=stanley+porter+how+we+got+the+new+testament&qid=1596247492&sr=8-1. You shouldn't be surprised I don't have a video on this topic on a channel called Islam Critiqued. • @IslamCritiqued
      @IslamCritiqued  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Greek is different from Hebrew in this respect. Many Hebrew professors attempt to adopt some of the modern Hebrew pronunciation. I really didn’t get picky about pronunciation until I started taking modern Hebrew. But ultimately, it’s the understanding of biblical languages which is most important.

    If Quraan challenges that there is no mistakes in Quraan. And Allah asking to produce few verses like Quraan why you don't try there are millions of Arab Christians go forth and Tri then you understand the challenge of the Quraan only reading comments of Christian products and proving your points is not acceptable. • @IslamCritiqued
      @IslamCritiqued  6 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      Ali Hassan of course there are different translations...just like there are different translations of the Quran. That’s what happens when you translate different languages. There are different ways to render the original. I didn’t even cover “contradictions” in this video. The only reason you go off topic in so many of your comments is that you can’t refute the specific evidence I give. Stay on topic. Address the evidence in this video, of which more much can be given.

    • @alidwana
      @alidwana 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      I don't have a problem with different translations or textual versions that is not my concern . I was just asking how can you convince me as simple Muslim that your New Testament is divine revelation ??

    • @IslamCritiqued
      @IslamCritiqued  6 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      Ali Hassan there are different approaches to this answer. My preferred method would be the narratives within the text themselves. Deep, beautiful, winding throughout places and times and people, all working toward God’s purpose. This is well beyond the scope of what I can cover here. Perhaps I could give you an attempt at a short, simple answer if you’re interested.
      I am curious about your opinion with respect to the Quran? Again, my issue is not that the Quran has variants, this is to be expected for hand-copying manuscripts. My complaint is that the average Muslim is ignorant of what their own scholars, past and present say about the issue. One could easily understand the Quran to be referring to the ultimate preservation of the text, but not take that to mean the strict sense of preservation down to the word and diacritical mark. I cannot find out where or with whom this movement started, but as I said it is not the view of contemporary or past Islamic scholars.

    • @alidwana
      @alidwana 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Generally speaking Muslim know there are different recitations of Quran but the body of the text still remain the same as I mentioned in your previous video. The matter is very sensitive to Muslim so Islamic scholars will be hesitant to come and say the Quran we have today is a bit differ than the one at the time of the prophet since stuff came later so because they afraid that they will be misunderstood. .

    • @IslamCritiqued
      @IslamCritiqued  6 ปีที่แล้ว +8

      I'm not talking about different recitations, you know this. I'm talking about changes in the text itself, variants, erasures, tapings...etc. And this is an honest question, by the way, I'm honestly wanting your perspective. EVERY SINGLE "Muslim on the street" I'll call them, the average Muslim, Muslims at the local masjhid for example, claim perfect preservation. And they mean it- perfect preservation, as if there's a 7th century Quran somewhere that matches their Quran letter for letter. But this couldn't be proven, even in a hypothetical situation where we didn't have contradicting evidence, since Uthman burned his source material- you cannot go back to the original. Regardless, we have plenty of contradicting evidence. It is unclear to me why Muslims claim something so different from their early Imams and scholars, as well as modern Quranic scholars, and something so different from the overwhelming evidence. I wonder what the reaction of Muslims will be when the text-critical edition of the Quran finally comes out.

    I suggest you go to this channel @manhornz and you will realize why we Muslims say that Bible is tampered or changed from what God originally revealed to the Jews and later nations. The Bible that people read now is infact Pagan in its writing and beliefs about Jesus.
    Whereas what was revealed to Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) is the true word of God and Islam, infact, is not Pagan.

      Muslims have a 1400 year history of biblical illiteracy. I couldn’t care less what they have to say. They’re also hypocrites, given the Quran speaks highly of the Torah and Gospel, as some Muslim scholars acknowledge- the Quran doesn’t say they’re corrupted. The problem is that “Allah” didn’t know that his book contradicted the previous scriptures. Muslims have been grasping at solutions ever since this was found out.

    I really don't understand why you have objection about bible corruption ? Your academic scholars admitted the corruption however, even with the corruption we can clearly see our prophet.
    Didn't the trinity affected by textual forgery ?

      You have to be more careful with your English. I said nothing about corruption. Textual variants are NOT the same. Textual variants are expected with 2,600,000 pages of handwritten Greek text. Trinitarian theology weaves through the entire Bible and is not effected by any textual variants. The narrative is much, much larger than that.

      Trinitarian Monotheism is one God existing in three Persons. Understand that this is not in any way suggesting three Gods. Keep in mind when studying this subject that the word “Trinity” is not found in Scripture. This is a term that is used to attempt to describe the triune God-three coexistent, co-eternal Persons who are God. Of real importance is that the concept represented by the word “Trinity” does exist in Scripture. The following is what God’s Word says about the Trinity:
      1) There is one God (Deuteronomy 6:4; 1 Corinthians 8:4; Galatians 3:20; 1 Timothy 2:5).
      2) The Trinity consists of three Persons (Genesis 1:1, 26; 3:22; 11:7; Isaiah 6:8, 48:16, 61:1; Matthew 3:16-17, 28:19; 2 Corinthians 13:14). In Genesis 1:1, the Hebrew plural noun "Elohim" is used. In Genesis 1:26, 3:22, 11:7 and Isaiah 6:8, the plural pronoun for “us” is used. The word "Elohim" and the pronoun “us” are plural forms, definitely referring in the Hebrew language to more than two. While this is not an explicit argument for the Trinity, it does denote the aspect of plurality in God. The Hebrew word for "God," "Elohim," definitely allows for the Trinity.
      In Isaiah 48:16 and 61:1, the Son is speaking while making reference to the Father and the Holy Spirit. Compare Isaiah 61:1 to Luke 4:14-19 to see that it is the Son speaking. Matthew 3:16-17 describes the event of Jesus' baptism. Seen in this passage is God the Holy Spirit descending on God the Son while God the Father proclaims His pleasure in the Son. Matthew 28:19 and 2 Corinthians 13:14 are examples of three distinct Persons in the Trinity.
      3) The members of the Trinity are distinguished one from another in various passages. In the Old Testament, “LORD” is distinguished from “Lord” (Genesis 19:24; Hosea 1:4). The LORD has a Son (Psalm 2:7, 12; Proverbs 30:2-4). The Spirit is distinguished from the “LORD” (Numbers 27:18) and from “God” (Psalm 51:10-12). God the Son is distinguished from God the Father (Psalm 45:6-7; Hebrews 1:8-9). In the New Testament, Jesus speaks to the Father about sending a Helper, the Holy Spirit (John 14:16-17). This shows that Jesus did not consider Himself to be the Father or the Holy Spirit. Consider also all the other times in the Gospels where Jesus speaks to the Father. Was He speaking to Himself? No. He spoke to another Person in the Trinity-the Father.
      4) Each member of the Trinity is God. The Father is God (John 6:27; Romans 1:7; 1 Peter 1:2). The Son is God (John 1:1, 14; Romans 9:5; Colossians 2:9; Hebrews 1:8; 1 John 5:20). The Holy Spirit is God (Acts 5:3-4; 1 Corinthians 3:16).
      5) There is subordination within the Trinity. Scripture shows that the Holy Spirit is subordinate to the Father and the Son, and the Son is subordinate to the Father. This is an internal relationship and does not deny the deity of any Person of the Trinity. This is simply an area which our finite minds cannot understand concerning the infinite God. Concerning the Son see Luke 22:42, John 5:36, John 20:21, and 1 John 4:14. Concerning the Holy Spirit see John 14:16, 14:26, 15:26, 16:7, and especially John 16:13-14.
      6) The individual members of the Trinity have different tasks. The Father is the ultimate source or cause of the universe (1 Corinthians 8:6; Revelation 4:11); divine revelation (Revelation 1:1); salvation (John 3:16-17); and Jesus' human works (John 5:17; 14:10). The Father initiates all of these things.
      The Son is the agent through whom the Father does the following works: the creation and maintenance of the universe (1 Corinthians 8:6; John 1:3; Colossians 1:16-17); divine revelation (John 1:1, 16:12-15; Matthew 11:27; Revelation 1:1); and salvation (2 Corinthians 5:19; Matthew 1:21; John 4:42). The Father does all these things through the Son, who functions as His agent.
      The Holy Spirit is the means by whom the Father does the following works: creation and maintenance of the universe (Genesis 1:2; Job 26:13; Psalm 104:30); divine revelation (John 16:12-15; Ephesians 3:5; 2 Peter 1:21); salvation (John 3:6; Titus 3:5; 1 Peter 1:2); and Jesus' works (Isaiah 61:1; Acts 10:38). Thus, the Father does all these things by the power of the Holy Spirit.

      *samer dodi* The concept of the Trinity exists throughout the Bible, and I'll leave it to this channel's creator to correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe it was Tertullian who first defined it as "Trinity", Triunity, so it's been attested to by many biblical scholars. You know words are often used to define concepts. The word Tawhid can't be found in a Quran, but the concept is all over that book. No one who's read a Quran can miss Allah's Unitarianism, his indivisible oneness. You don't need the word Tawhid, but it's the easiest way to state the concept.
      It was the Son’s office to reveal the Father, and it is the Spirit’s
      office to reveal the Son, as Christ testified in John 16:14: ‘He (The Spirit of God, whom Christ sent) will glorify me, for he will take what is mine and declare it to you’ (Jn. 16:14). All are Omnipresent, all are critically involved in salvation. The Father draws us, the Son redeems us, and the Holy Spirit seals us; they all work in harmony. Matthew 28:19 contain Jesus' final command to His apostles, "Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit" It's "name" singular, not "names" plural. One name, three co-eternal persons; all are God. The Holy Spirit is a "He" not an "it".
      You miss God's truth when you don't read the Bible, and it's nearly impossible to understand scripture without the Holy Spirit. As Paul says in 1 Corinthians 2:14, "a natural man does not accept the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him; and he cannot understand them, because they are spiritually appraised." Those of us not raised in Christians homes, learn this experientially when we come to Christ.

    Bart Ehrman is greatest gift from God to Christian to wake up from false religion. Even with the massive corruptions of the bible still we can see our prophet clearly prophesied in the bible in many places. Allah Akber
