I think my favorite episode was the Ice King’s origin story. Every time I watch it I cry, it’s really sweet how he looked after Marceline.
I agree. Loved that mini series. It's such a silly show but underneath the goofy exterior are lots of touching stories with lots of heart.
Every time you watch it, you cry? Sounds like you may have some serious unresolved traumas just below the surface. That is definitely not normal for an emotionally healthy adult. I encourage you to reach out to the appropriate mental health professionals and address these issues before they manifest in even more destructive ways. Good luck!

The Snow King’s backstory is particularly touching, and it’s a testament to the show’s writing that it can evoke such feelings. Crying can be a healthy way to express emotions and connect with the characters on a deeper level. They’re not necessarily tears of sorrow, they’re also tears of joy as you realize the deep connection the characters have. I’m simply a highly compassionate person, and I’m okay with that.

As a 40 something myself, I watched Adventure Time as it aired and both of my kids now have seen the entire series.
My favorite BMO moment that comes to mind was in BMO Lost, when he finds the Baby and calls it a beautiful baby, but then takes a leaf an covers his hand to help make him better.
I love BMO, my Miyoo mini V4 looks JUST like him.

For having never seen BMO in any of the Adventure Time memes or other references. This was a really cute geek out. I wish they made the Y button into a Triangle for you. Maybe you could get a cap could make it into the shape, and or a sticker for the face to add your drive spot and expand the button into a triangle.
I've always loved that color of the OG Miyoo Mini. maybe I could get a custom shell for my white one. That way I could keep my swappable batteries since yours is a v2.

You said something in a recent video, in jest I think, about people watching your videos who didn't actually care much about video games or tech but just enjoy *you*. But: that's me. I watch 98% because I love that you put your whole heart and your creativity into what could easily be (and usually is) another dry, cheap, nerd-snob thing. The one you did with the cartoons about your experience with your mom and dad and your first NES cemented that I will keep watching your videos, even if I (likely) never progress beyond my Miyoo Mini (and I did buy an RP4pro that has basically sat in its case untouched, because I regressed into childhood at 43 by rediscovering Lego and making my own little characters...). Congrats on your BMO, and more so for keeping your big heart on your orange and black sleeve.

Congrats man, scratch one off the old retro bucket list. That yellow D-pad is killer. You turned me on to LITNXT last year however I already had my Miyoo Mini+ at that point, but did score their Onion SD card out of pure time crush/lazy necessity and their customer service was exceptional, so I will be buying my future hardware from their team; thanks again for the VALUE ADD direction and killer content always!! DIG THE CHANNEL.

I love it! Especially the transparent blue, and the colored buttons really pop! They show totally add the colored case and buttons you got as a SKU, maybe call it TDBlue or something. I haven't gotten one of these yet, and that'd totally put me over the edge.

I feel as though there's only ONE answer for the best Adventure Time episode: Jake the Brick. It encapsulates so much about the show. Not everything, but so much of it. Such a chill episode that it just so damn cozy to watch on a rainy day! But it also shows off many of the show's characters and what they're like.

I'm jealous. I wish I could watch it all again for the first time. I suggest you start at season 3 because in the first 2 they were just starting to find their 'voice'. When you're done you can go back and watch the first 2 as 'prequels'

- yay figured it out was decrypting everything and apparently will not work if you do that, so now playing retro games on WiiU, added to my current mix of arcade PC, Steamdeck, Retro Pocket 3, New 3DSXL, PS3, once done installing and playing next up is modding my regular gen 1 Wii.

If the Miyoo mini has clip on protective cases available you could even attach arms and legs to the case to complete the look.
Sorry for screwing up your retention stats, but that intro! I just had to watch it like 10 times :D
Might I recommend a modification or two to really put your BMO over the top? If you have access to a 3d printer, print out the face buttons but modify the B&Y buttons to have a female side snap on button mechanism somewhat similar to what you'd find on a child's raincoat (but obviously adjusted/scaled down to size) and print out a little triangle and a circle that is slightly larger than the original button sizes with the male side button connectors on the back of these little pieces. Now you have the proper button shapes that BMO actually has! For those unfamiliar with changing buttons, the reason I don't suggest just straight up printing out the triangle and large circle right onto the buttons is because of the way the buttons are shaped and fitted into the shell, they won't be able to be placed in because they need to be pushed through the back of the front shell which, obviously wouldn't work because they just simply won't fit. My suggested method will allow you to change the buttons/clean them whilst still having the authentic BMO button shapes. I don't have a miyoo mini (YET!!) nor a 3D printer (YET!!) but they've both been on my wish list for quite a while now but the way my finances are currently set up, it would be just purely irresponsible to pull the trigger on either device but as soon as I'm caught up, you better believe I'm getting both. At that point, I plan on doing exactly what I'm suggesting here. That may not be for a while but I'd love to see somebody take this recommendation and bring it to fruition so I can JUST LOOK AT IT (word to Ed Bassmaster lol)

I never watched Adventure Time but it's a really cool and simple mod. Like you said it looks official and that's very cool. I'm often not a big fan of over the top mods.

I 100% believe the Nintendo switch was made to be like a BMO with the portability and two controllers for two people to play. I wish that rom could be used as like a gameboy UI and be able to boot games from it.

I love adventure time, but I think it would have been better if they had made it very formulaic and just did dungeon runs every single episode. The dungeon episodes are my favorites because of all the video game references.
