The lack of ponchos was very disappointing. I preferred the preset outfits in the first game than making your own in RDR2 because the options to choose from weren’t that great I wish we got ponchos, belts for pants instead of suspenders, different bandolier options and the option to purchase a knife belt loop like John had in the OG

I also wish we could have the rifle holster for John’s classic outfit, we could still have two long arms but it just shows one obviously and whichever you have chosen shows on your back

I think the epilogue was one of the last things they worked on and part of me believes they did ran out of time when it came to things like Johns character model. They should have pushed the game release date back another 6-9 months until John looked perfect and other things wear fixed.

I remember the first time seeing John's hair design in rdr1 combined with the cowboy outfit and thought that was the coolest badass outlaw ever but then when rdr2 i expected him to look exactly like in rdr1 but was confused as to how rockstar messed up his hair 😢

Edit: literally only two inaccuracies I can tell.. is that you have two knives.. one above satchel on the hip is correct.. but there is one still behind the gun holster *(I assume you know this probably you probably can’t remove it for reasons etc..)* The other one is John not having his rancher vest open.. **probably can’t do much ‘bout that either.**
thank you for the comment! the RDR1 knife position is tied to the rdr1 belt. while the knife sheath can be removed. you have to disable it every time you change outfits and sometimes i forgot. And about the rancher vest, without model support if the sleeves are rolled down the middle of the open rancher vest area will be invisible. and if you can glitch it to get the full shirt model it clips badly in all areas.

It took away that feeling that something isn't right with our Jhonny boy. I don't know why, but it feels odd playing rdr2, it was not the experience i was hoping for. I loved so much the musics of the first one, the atmosphere, the biblical references...
It makes more sense for the barrel to be pointing up so dirt wont get in the barrel also easier to draw and I could interchange them they’re both fine to me

You know what we see in promotional art like arthurs Green gunslinger,John's blue denim vest, and John's fancy gunslinger from rdr1 are some of the best looking outfits. Yet only by the use of mods or in-game items can we replicate these outfits. It's just sad that they don't give us the outfits .
I really really really hope that once rockstar is finished with building GTA 6 that they'll have the decency to release an rdr1 outfit remastered dlc pack for this game.

I'm honestly fine with the outfits currently for John, but we should have gotten his NPC outfits. And the reason NA was in RDR2 was because Arthur was originally supposed to go there, but they cut it at the last minute.

My game is so amazing now I literally hate vanilla RDR2 now, everything from the music, the character looks, dialogue, loading screens, the ambience, the clothes, weapons and many more things just make this game much more better trough mods.

I wish they had the actual legend of the apocalypse and not legend of the undead especially since they have the human version of army of the undead but still all of this is amazing

People want rdr 1 renake R*, give the people what they want!! Also, I never liked the rope outside the satchel and the rifle holster, It felt like a fantasy wild west (I know, but it Just feels wrong to me), I like the new way the carry they're guns in a realistic fashion
I have over a 100 mods installed uncluding all these mods. My game is so amazing now I literally hate vanilla RDR2 now, everything from the music, the character looks, dialogue, loading screens, the ambience, the clothes, weapons and many more things just make this game much more better trough mods.

Okay, here's a question, when you get John's classic outfit in the epilouge, why is his vest green, when in RDR1 it's dark gray? Never made sense to me.
It's faded over the years? Also RDR 1's display default is desaturated.
