As a huge RDR fan, since 2011-2012. I was planning to make this video since RDR2's release. I waited rockstar to fix John's hair and add ponchos to singleplayer but you know, its rockstar. Tell me your favorite outfits in the comments. My personal favorite is US Marshal uniform.

You did a great job at making these and I followed your guide exactly. I love the work and I’m about to subscribe. Also is your hair length for John at 5? I keep hearing that’s the best hair length.
I wish there was ponchos, glasses, eyepatches and more black outfits

Makes sense with the setting of the game RDR1 had a poncho but was only unlocked once you bought a home in Mexico with RDR2 i don't think there's really any logical place to find one as Arthur maybe St Denis could have Mexican trader who sells imported goods from Mexico or as John we could find one in New Austin. RDO has some great clothing jsut wish Rockstar would add these to the story mode hell maybe they are just waiting to launch a Mexico update this June for E3.

For people who don't know how to remove offhand holster: you have to save the outfit that John wears when he's building his house

@@hiagain1 there's a glitch where if you save Johns outfit when he isn't wearing his offhand holster it removes his offhand holster

@@hiagain1 it just makes Johns offhand holster no longer visible so you can make outfits better i guess

awsome video man these outfits look great i've been looking for a good rdr1 bounty hunter/cowboy outfit for like 3 weeks and i finally found one that looks cool all the other videos i watched had the same shirt and the color was good but the shirt was open to much and it bothered me

Honestly, I would’ve liked there to be a system where if you went out of your way to recreate outfits like the elegant suit, or just create different combinations in general, they would give you bonuses. Honestly would be way too fun to mess around with. Also I kinda wanna be able to cheat in poker again

Fun fact: if you complete uncle's request you can get a classic frock coat which is similar to the rdr1 duster coat

i really loved the bollard twin outfit brings back so many memories
I have a pc and use mods to recreate these, but these look just as good and im very happy with these tutorials.
Personally I go with the white everyday shirt because his shirt doesn't have pinstripes but still very cool
I would use the Black striped jeans for the cowboy outfit because in rdr1 the pants don't have seems.

For the Gentleman’s attire how do you get those pants? I looked in the store and I couldn’t find them so I looked at literally every outfit in the game and they don’t appear?
Edit: I figured it out they aren’t in an outfit or the general store they are exclusive to tailors
Fun fact: the undead cowboy outfit is Red Dead redemption's cover outfit.

How did you get the black Kneller Rider Spurs that you used on the Cowboy outfit?
They're part of some unique outfit sold by a specific general store/tailor.
Forgot which outfit and shop though.
Did you use mods or did you implore the use of some glitch?
I noticed the secondary holster missing from some outifts to add to the accuracy. Explanation???
Played on patch 1.02 until epilogue (downloaded from orbispatches.com) Used old patch glitch to remove off hand holster for john. Then updated to 1.20. My saved outfits without offhand holster was still there.

Asdas asdfas Hello sir. If you play 1.00 red dead, john has better hair, face model, and body model. If you play 1.00 you cannot play this save, but if you update back to current patch you can. Quick tutorial 1: Turn off wifi. 2: Delete red dead 2. 3: wait for download. 4: do NOT turn on wifi unless you wanna risk updating by accident. 5: do NOT overwrite your 1.26 save file, make a new save. 6: look at in-game map. If its laggy-ish, you did it! You prob wont see this, or care, but I thought id share it

Could anyone tell me how to unlock more clothing in story mode? I’ve beaten the campaign and bounties but haven’t done any stranger missions. I’m missing certain colors of stuff like the coat used in the gentleman’s attire, anyone got any ideas?

Ranch pants were too slim. So i decided to make his pants regular fit same as RDR1

yo man, i rlly hope you see this, the best matching facial hair to rdr1 john without mods is length 2 or 1 pencil mustache, length 1 natural chin, and length 1 dundreary sideburns. for hair id say right parted at length 6

Parted right length 5 is actually closer to John's hair in RDR, while length 6 is more like his hair through the rest of the game (on his NPC model)

because it isn't long enough to match its rdr1 look. The coat was long in rdr1

Why did you switch johns iconic ranch pants for town pants for the cowboy outfit? also the cowboy outfit is already a default outfit
No its not iconic ranch pants. It is fancy disco pants. John's rdr1 pants is slim fit not skinny and its more black. Just like town pants. Also default cowboy outfit from rdr2 has trash bag gloves which john didn't have in rdr1
