@Garland846For some reason RDR2 John walks like a catwalk model with one foot directly in front of the other. It's not necessarily a bad thing, there aint nothing wrong with a little bit of zest, but it doesnt suit a cowboy who spend the better half of his life robbing trains and killing folk.
Something about that rdr1 soundtrack always makes me feel not just nostalgia but like, gives me a nice feeling of wonder and mystery and makes the world 100 times better. RDR2 did it well too but just something about rdr1 makes me feel more happy
RDR1's soundtrack worked so perfectly because it sounded correct for the time period. Most of the main instruments used were actually of that era of the late 19th/early 20th century, which gave this haunting realism to the sound. RDR2's soundtrack was almost like a "new age" modern western score, utilizing more MIDI sound effects and less period-correct instruments, and while it was great in its own way, it lacked the authenticity that RDR1's score had.
@@justajad2809 I agree. It worked well for RDR2, but would not have fit RDR1 at all. The latter is still the better soundtrack in my opinion because it actually works in both games, as proven by this video.
@@gabrielmartines3510 I disagree. The RDR1 soundtrack is more authentic to the time period overall, therefore to me it is more versatile across both games than RDR2's soundtrack is.
