    Is the gaming peripheral industry heading in this direction? Gaming keyboards aren't new, and modular, wireless, also optical switches aren't too. The ASUS ROG Claymore II gaming keyboard has all of that in one package, and it's fairly interesting with all those features and more combined.

    Yooo, as a dev that also regularly takes education notes by typing, I would love to move my numpad to the left. My right hand will finally get a break.
    Edit: Here are some of the alternatives to this keyboard from the comments in this thread:
    - Separate numpad
    - Left handed keyboards (aka southpaw)
    - gk96s (a left handed keyboard, no detachable numpad)
    - Mountain Everest Max Keyboard (has a detachable numpad)

    • @jayleno2192
      @jayleno2192 3 ปีที่แล้ว +15

      Just get a 10 keyless and a separate numpad. A decent USB numpad is like $20, although most of them break pretty easily so you might be buying a new one every year or so.

    • @TheRoundedTable
      @TheRoundedTable 3 ปีที่แล้ว +9

      @@jayleno2192 I definitely considered it, it can work for many. I wanted not only a mechanical switch numpad, but also one that can keep moving with my keyboard (so that when I move around, I don't have to move it). Plus, because I have a full sized keyboard atm, having 2 numpads would look dumb and be a waste of space imo. This keyboard solves all this, *with a steep price tag*, but a keyboard that checks all the boxes is such a good investment.

    Well, I suppose it does have everything I would want out of a keyboard. Volume wheel. Macro Keys. Wrist rest. Numpad. RGB on each keys. Not much of a fan of the LED light bleed on the sides of the keys, though. Looks like it'd be an eyesore late at night with the room light OFF. But at least you can reduce the brightness easily. So that's a plus.

      Look for Wireless Mechanical Numpads. They cost around $30. They could be what you're looking for.
      If you don't want the hassle of having to constantly charge them, just get a Qi charger attachment for phones and attach it on your numpad along with a Qi charging pad so that when you're not using it, you can just place the numpad on the charging pad.

    Not to mention be nice if game developers would add more options to allow for rebinding of numpad etc to in their games. You'd be amazed how many do not let you rebind they keys I use.
