The clamshell has 3 sides with windows so if you are concerned with ventilation in an Alu-Cab type of set up all you need to do is move the vehicle, much like you did with your set up, orient your rig to the prevailing winds and if u need more air flow get a cheap fan. the clamshell is simpler - unlatch push up - no motors or cables to break. think KISS......
Terry B yip you are correct. I think all tents have their pro’s and cons. I have a clam shell for the new season. So will be testing that and be able to give a proper review on what shape would be best. 4 windows or 3
HI, yes, you may need to manufacture a bracket for that, but I believe the standard L shape brackets for roof racks should do the job. For the round bars I would attached it with ubolts directly onto the rack. But thats up to you
funny enough the usa dealer cant keep up with the bundutec products. i stand to be corrected but think they are outselling the Australian market. I can put you in touch with them to discuss?
@@ExpeditionExtreme Hey there. I'll take you up on that. Who do I contact in North America to get me both products ( Tent and awning)? Greetings from Canada

Driving the truck into the water, tent & awning up, AND getting out...gangster AF! You, sir, are a bad man!

Just heavy mist
In the video, yout tent is "Bundutop Standard" or "Bundutop king" ?
How do you get out of the tent when raining without getting wet? And going down the ladder backside first?
Yeah fair question. Let me add this to the Q&A questions and I could give you a visual representation to the answer vs text

A comparison would be appreciated. I am seriously considering an inside access clamshell on a Troopy.
They are nice. I have heard stories about issues in windy conditions. I suppose I will find out soon enough
Which brand clamshell? Have the new clamshell on now?
All will be revealed soon, The truck is going to be totally redone. Just waiting on the parts to arrive
where's the vids showing the inside during rain?
Hi guys. Will that attach to a Tracklander roof rack?. My roof rack is fully surrounded by rails. Landcruiser Troop carrier. Cheers

What is the price ?
visit www.bundutec.co.za to find a dealer near you
What roof racks you recommend for this ? Looking for low racks
front runner has slim roof rack, but really depends on your vehicle
$5000
less than that, but all depends on where you getting it. Its about 3500 USD in the Middle East give or take.
why is that car wearing a hat !
to keep the sun and rain out of it's eyes :-)
Ya, that won’t work in America. I like my Tupi.
