Beautiful shots! Love the rooftop portrait and how sharp your architecture shots look. I’ve been shooting digital my whole life, but saw Trotti shooting portraits with this camera and that gave me the final push to dip my toes in the point and shoot life. I’m about to pick up some Kodak ultramax 400. Are there any other films you like to pair with this camera?
Thank you Joey! Ultramax 400 is a good idea, if you want to try some more color films I recommend - Kodak Gold 200, Kodak Colorplus, Fuji C200 or Fuji 400. For Black and white Ilford HP5 is classic, as well as Delta 400 or even Kodak Tri-X. Happy shooting!
I have this camera, but the door is so hard to slide shut. It takes a lot of force, the door even popped off one time. I was able to put it back on, but is there a way I could make the door slide more smoothly?
If you’re not particularly attached to the camera, you could try gently take the slide door off the front and add a tiny bit of camera oil to the inside track of the slide!
Appreciate your thoughts on the camera. Have seen a few online and even one in a local shop and was looking for some perspective on if this would be a good buy. Do you know if there is a way to turn off the flash, or is it all automatic?
Thanks for the comment, I've had the camera for about 6 months now and I'm a fan - it's very versatile. And yes you can totally switch off the flash if you want to, however it will reset to automatic flash when you turn off the camera - so you gotta remember to turn the flash off again. Hope that helps!
