Hello. Since I watched your diode video. I decided to get a delete muffler too! But I am kind of stuck between nameless and Crawford. Only thing I concern is that does it droning in high speed? 80 mph. How is interior noise in high speed?
Would love to do this on our new 2021, but I feel that it would sound ridiculous with the stupid CVT. 😬. I wish they had the option for the 6spd on the Limited.
I agree, I bought the base model just so I could have the manual transmission. I sacrificed some upgrades but I figured I could do install a lot of what I missed out on on my own.
If your 2021 Crosstrek is similar to my 2016, you still have that big suitcase type muffler/resonator prior to the rear axle. I did the Borla axle back replacement and am thinking about eliminating that big suitcase type muffler.
Anyone done this on a 2024 crosstrek yet? I’m worried about sensor issues and what not with new cars being so tight engine wise. Do you need to program anything because of the airflow change with the motor?
@@biggfootdesigns I think the only way to gain any kind of notable performance from an exhaust update you need a turbo or super charged engine. In my opinion the WRX like sound you get from that exhaust makes it well worth it.
2016 is going to be a bit different. The part numbers for the fog light covers in the description are for 2018-2023. Just make sure you get the right covers for your 2016!
Clearance from the bottom of the exhaust pipe to the ground is 11.5 inches so it hasn't changed ground clearance although it probably changes the departure angle.
From the comments I read NO the Muffler delete did NOT enhance performance only the sound of the car am I correct? Did it do any thing (plus or minus), to ur gas mileage? Thank you!
That's correct. While I don't notice any increased performance I do enjoy the sound. My gas mileage has stayed the same, I am pretty heavy footed and average 22mpg.
I believe these are for the 2018+ models only. At least according to their site. I'd say shoot them an email. They have been extremely responsive when I reach out.
I don't get any noticeable drone from the exhaust although I don't do much highway driving. I haven't gone above 75mph so I can't speak about any speed higher than that but I don't think it would bother her.
@@biggfootdesigns ok cool thank you for the honest feedback. Can’t wait to see more modifications. Are you considering doing any k&n filter on it or any intake for it
@@CruisinCaptures I have been looking at intakes but the next mods will probably be lift, wheels and tires followed by a roof rack. The warm months are coming up and I need to get adventure ready!
So far no rattling, no vibrations, and no droning. That being said I have NOT gone above 75mph on the highway so it's possible that if there is droning it occurs at a faster MPH.
@@anthonycheski471 Do it! Just a reminder the one I have is the resonated version so I'm not sure if there is droning or other noises with the non-resonated. I will say that Crawford has been very responsive with all questions I have sen their way.
Cat-Back, and axle back do not mess with the AFR. If you do anything before the Cat, then things can get weird. Some cars it doesn't change too much, and some the car goes bat shit crazy.

I don't have any issue with it at all

I'm waiting on mine.... It's on backorder... I can't wait ☺️
You're going to love it!
Sounds a lot better with the performance exhaust.
Agreed. And even though I don't notice any increased performance it just makes the car more enjoyable to drive.

Still liking the exhaust? Debating this (with resonator) vs nameless executive model.
I still absolutely love it. The sound brings a smile to my face every time I drive it!
Just ordered mine, I got the straight threw one, I’m ready to be loud 😂
Yessss!!!! 🙌
may i ask, i have a 23 crosstrek sport cvt, will this work on a cvt?
Yeah, it works on the CVT as well!
no way? cause im bout to get it! what if i dont use paddles though thats the part got me second guessin@@biggfootdesigns
Could I put this on a 2016 crosstrek?

@@biggfootdesigns alright sounds good, thank you!
nice sound but it seems to my that you are giving up some ground clearance at least what i can see from the video, great sound muffler thx!!!

How close is that tip to the bumper? Any issues with bumper getting hot/ melting? Or any worries if that so far
It's about an inch away from the bumper at the closest spot. I haven't had any issues with the bumper getting hot.

@@biggfootdesigns Thank you so very much! I am looking for better gas mileage and performance not more loudness. Hope I make sense?
How much louder would you say the exhaust is than stock? I am looking for a better sound but not crazy loud
It's quite a bit louder especially on cold start but it's not obnoxious. If you're looking for a better sound then this definitely is it.
@@biggfootdesigns would you say it’s still below 100db or is it closer to where you might get pulled over
@@nicknyburg4588 i don't think it's get pulled over loud. I've been next to plenty of officers in cars or on bikes with no issues at all

Does it have more acceleration?
I haven't noticed any increased acceleration or performance but oddly enough the sound alone makes it 100x more fun to drive.
Considering getting this for my wife, 2019 Subaru crosstrek do think it would bother her with any drone, resonated of course?

Is yours the 2.0 or 2.5 engine?
It's the 2.0
How do you have your crosstrek popping when revving?
Dude that’s what I’m wondering
Great video! How is it on the highway? Any droning or vibrations? I want to add this exhaust but I worry about ruining the ride at steady rpms.

Do you know of any exhausts for the 2.5?
Hey there, I just verified with Crawford Performance that this does indeed work with the 2.5L

no it does not
