hey, I just got my NS6 and your video helped me to make this decision. I am new to DJ Controllers so I have a Problem. I bought it in US, because you can not get this kind of stuff in my country (Georgia, Europe). It turned out that on the box it is mentioned "US 115V". As you know in Europe it's 220-240V. Thus I am little bit confused. Can I just buy another power adapter with the same 12V 2A but capable of 220-240V or I have to buy 110 to 220 voltage converter with is much more expensive option. Hoping for your help...
when i first got mine i had no monitors but i was anxious to start using it. so i bought a rca cable with a female headphone jack and used computer speakers. you cant mix anything but it worked for just jammin
@Reese Why do you say that you can't mix anything? If you use the software provided (Serato DJ) or another standard midi controlled dj software you can. You do not have to have 'monitors' to mix with. Any powered speaker or just using headphones you can mix with the controller.

When i play two song at a time and i want to scratch on it with the crossfader when i crossfade from deck A to B my another song stop and go to the starting point. Can you please tell me how to setup the settings "I WANT TO PLAY TWO SONGS AT ONE TIME WHILE ANOTHER DECK IS COMEPLETELY FADED OUT SO PLEASE TELL ME WHAT TO DO FOR NOT MAKING MY ANOTHER TRACK GO TO THE STARTING POINT OF THE TRACK" please reply ASAP.
Hey I'm looking at getting the NS6 but the only set back was that another DJ told me it doesn't have a sound board to hook up to big speakers and that I would need to buy 1 separately is this true?? Thanks
I have already did that. I am not new to DJing. I am extremely familiar with adjusting the setting. And with the best adjustments I still feel the same way. Its not god for scratching

check out the specs ON the adapter. it should say 115V to 240V.

Hey great video and some useful tips. Are those the M-Audio AV 40 speakers? If they are can you tell me please if they are good for mixing at home ?

lol its switch on the front of your controller next to your xfader tunr both off for both decks its called the fader start
hi what are the buttons "TAP" for that are located next to the strip search section?
the effect button pushes in, so twist to highlight then push in to select.
Phil, will those fx assignments work with VDJ?
Haven't used this controlller is many years so can't remember much, it'll depend on the mapping and you can change that yourself

If you want play Traktor, go for Numark 4trak which is exactly the same as NS6 but for Traktor

You can use it as a mixer and in virtual DJ but I'm not sure about serato vinyl

That's not true. It has a great sound card.
The scratching with this controller is not good at all. I returned the unit for this reason (along with the lack of volume).
