I really appreciate what you do. I began working two jobs back in june. When I come home at the end of what ends up being a 10-hour day I just kind of want to chill, and at first I found Brent and urbex Canada with his exploring of abandonments. And when I exhausted his content, then I found you, and Jeremy explores, and big banks. You guys have really gotten me through some hairy 10-hour days. Because I know I can come home and one of you guys is always going to have some new content. So thank you for what you do. It sounds really corny, but you actually really are making a difference in my life. Thank you.

This is a very strange place. I don't feel it was a family home, it looks more to be a business of some sort. Why would it have been seized by the government? Just strange.
So many reasons that will cause seizure. Unpaid personal taxes, death, proceeds of crime, criminal charges, victim compensation, immigration issues. I get it though, without having the whole story
Well...there are aspects of this place I do like. As a whole...Nope! All that starkness has the air of being in a mall. But then each to their own. You do find some unique places to explore. I always get a hoot out of some of the homes you've shown. Never boring.

Hmm…since it is Japanese inspired, I think I’d soften it up with shogi screen type material in those panels in the entryway. Maybe put that in the doors too inside. Houses like this make me feel like whoever had it built didn’t care about privacy lol

3:02, that’s definitely not an IKEA special, that’s custom and very expensive, like everything else in this house.
I find this house ugly but I don’t like contemporary design, but it’s definitely not that dated.
All of the fireplaces were wood, none of them were gas, so you know.

@@JohnShinn1960 The interior glass panels and doors are from Art Deco and 80's Deco. I would do a home office very similar to the one in this place; private yet you can see what family members are doing. Give it the cabinet style is dates, but refreshed with new cabinets and other things it would pop.

Noah that master bedroom hole in the wall was the sex tape hole i imagine a camera hidden. Lastly its madness it being knocked down, its very industrial, metal but understandable as this place felt like a lodgers house very mazey lots of unnecessary cupboards for throw rugs, pillows, oversized cushions etc… thx for the tour

It's what I call the "new mid century modern" and I don't like it, don't like it at all, looks commercial and the exterior greatly decives the interior. The fireplace is just a square hole in the wall!
