2nd year in a row, goes to show Trey is very underrated, arguably the most statically strong guy on Earth. The way he just made easy work of each event
Wow awesome to see all these people in attendance!! I pray the Shaw classic gets huge and competes with worlds strongest man or gets bigger and takes over. I bet it will! Being run by a competitor and winner and get away from the advertisers and tv deals being the most important thing and un organized. You could tell shaw was frustrated with worlds strongest man the last few years and he said enough im starting my own event and do it right!!
Not a brag but I've been to the 21 and 22 Shaw classics. I thought 21 was loud in that smaller venue, but this year was louder and more electric. So awesome, if you can make it, you should!
Oleksii Novikov definitely was trying to tough it out with an injury...too bad he's usually a force to be reckoned with😔. Shows how brutal these competitions are!
I'm not saying he doesn't also work hard but man Hooper has ungodly natural strength, he was born for this shit. Makes you wonder how many Hoopers are out there running marathons that have the natural talent to a pin a Gorilla
@thomas burns Tom would've been there but had flight complications combined with his autism. I think he'll be there next year. And then you could test your hypothesis on whether Tom can out-dominate the rest on stones. Have to do it at least three times to account for statistical variation though.
That 25 pound jump through the stones doesn't seem like it should be such a big deal to these guys but that last one makes all the difference in the world.
It’s interesting that these videos aren’t getting that many views… I’m sure more people would watch them if they were live/people didn’t know the result already
Good to see Jerry Pritchett competing in this. I think he needs to give himself a little more time to recover. One of the few relatives I have that I'd love to meet.
man I expected that hopper-novikov head to head to be really close, but you can't be 100% all the time some people say brian is done..well take a look at the stones, he's still a top contender, trey can carry the torch though if need be
Can we just thank these gentlemen for being what we never could? I mean the brutality of heavy weights these men lift gives us tangible dreams of what we never could do🤣🤣
Another great shaw classic really like trey an brian they don't get over carried away with all the huff an puff an shouting jus do wat they do big z too an Mitchell only one I dint like is that over the top bighead not that gud at all singleton far to cocky an over the top for my liking an not that strong for how cocky he acts..from bidzy westmids gypsies England 👊👍💯
Why Brian Shaw became so slow on stones? This was his specialty right. Even Tom Stoltman one motions the max weight stone in WSM 2021. Shaw is so slow on the setup.
@@christygruber2283 yep I believe they’re also effected by humidity, there’s a few different types of tacky with different consistencies so that there’s something for every environment but sometimes it’s hard to choose, if it’s too hot for the tacky you chose then it’ll actually make it worse since it would make the stones slippery which is what happened to bobby Thompson at wsm
Why should she, it’s his job not hers. He cooked all his food until he got trifecta sponsorship now he orders it If he was a carpenter should she go to the hardware store for him?
@@thorthewolf8801 yeah obviously, to many people food is a love language wether preparing it for others or having others prepare it for them and typically you’d expect one or both of them to make food for their entire family and not have Kerri make food for herself and their children and brian make his own food but since eating is such a large part of his job it wouldn’t be fair for Kerri to make 6 meals each the size the rest of their family would eat combined. I’m sure they do occasionally cook for each other but the system they always had was Brian would make his own food until trifecta came in and it seemed to work for them
Honest question, Are all the big beer belly stomachs necessary for strength? I would think you would have a much larger audience if strong men looked fit.
Mass helps at static strenght, moreover if you eat big you recover faster and many of those guys dont need to use as much peds as some lighter athlete needs to keep with big ones.
you definitly lose strength, when you try to shred down the body fat, cause you also lose muscle mass. and those guys are top tear strongmen, so you cant risk losing strength just for the looks. there might be some genetical freaks, that dont really suffer but i would say, that most athletes, in this sport, would.
🔴SHAW CLASSIC TICKETS- www.treventscomplex.com/events/detail/shaw-classic-strongman-competition
11:47 Exactly right. Strongman athletes respect each other. No haters allowed. No trash talking. No bullies. Positive vibes only. ❤❤❤
Trey is a total bully. Did you see what he did to that log-axle medley recently? He one motioned a 170kg axle. WTF!?
2nd year in a row, goes to show Trey is very underrated, arguably the most statically strong guy on Earth. The way he just made easy work of each event
Thats not debatable he is
He's on the beast list :D
Damn did Trey just did the stones without any straps on or equipment talk about beast mode there.
He like mateusz infinitely bad at one event (grip based/frame stuff) which just makes him lose any hopes of a win
It's definitely a win for Brian. Only person to ever win money, then give it away. He's the goat to me.

absolutely love that shaw put all this together and still competes. it keeps everyone on their toes
Oleksii Novikov definitely was trying to tough it out with an injury...too bad he's usually a force to be reckoned with😔. Shows how brutal these competitions are!
This is like his third show this week. He just won the rogue
I'm not saying he doesn't also work hard but man Hooper has ungodly natural strength, he was born for this shit. Makes you wonder how many Hoopers are out there running marathons that have the natural talent to a pin a Gorilla
I’m so proud of the fact that Brian is the person to represent America he’s just so wholesome but also puts up a damn good fight
Brian and Trey pick those first three stones up like they're beach balls.
@thomas burns Tom would've been there but had flight complications combined with his autism. I think he'll be there next year. And then you could test your hypothesis on whether Tom can out-dominate the rest on stones. Have to do it at least three times to account for statistical variation though.
Mitchel Hooper, Gabe Pena, obviously Tray Mitchelle and tbh everyone in the lineup was giving an amazing performance. Hats off guys!
Trey is a beast, only weakness looks like his grip. Great show Brian. Thank U
Atlas stones have probably been my favorite event since I became a fan watching strongman competitions back in the mid 2000s.
Love the weight of the stone run. Genuinely challenging for the athletes!
The Shaw Classic, i will travel the world for that one. Great job Brian!
Great finish! Great win for Trey Mitchell!
Sportsmanship is such a good feeling to watch 👏👏👏👏👏👍❤️
Saw this live and in the open class only one guy got all five. That guy Jack Plankers the future of Strongman. Wish they had that stone run on here
That 25 pound jump through the stones doesn't seem like it should be such a big deal to these guys but that last one makes all the difference in the world.
Trey did that without the grippy forearm sleeves. Now that is impressive.
Jerry has the heart of a lion. I think he works full time as mechanic or something.
Welder
@@empiresrikesfat thanks
Greatest Show energy ever felt!
11:28 No question in my mind that Brian right here told Trey that he is the strongest man in the world.
great stuff!

Love Tery!
Prawdziwy Wielki Chłop 💪💪
Trey Mitchell the legend 💯

Can we talk about how Brian competed in Jordans 0_0 dudes built different
Shaw
freaking massive!
Iam a big fan of yours and think that you and the beast are awesome!!!
It helps to be
Taller
Long arms
Longish Lowe legs
Shortish upper legs
Interlaced video? Never thought I would see that again.
I thought it was strange, the looping applause was a little distracting when I noticed it
Mitchell has that eddie hall look
Thanks b
FATHER SHAW
Every time Janashia throws up a stone: “Anotha one”
would love to come but i live in Oklahoma Iam a retired vet so can't really afford it
man I expected that hopper-novikov head to head to be really close, but you can't be 100% all the time
some people say brian is done..well take a look at the stones, he's still a top contender, trey can carry the torch though if need be
Is it next year he can compete in the masters? To be that good for that long? Legend :)
We want a new full day of eating!
Trey a monster
GET IT FELLAS💪🏻🤙🏼
Cant believe it, i bought tickets yesterday and now cant find a flight from SWFL.
Can we just thank these gentlemen for being what we never could? I mean the brutality of heavy weights these men lift gives us tangible dreams of what we never could do🤣🤣
8:42
guys guysGUYS!
we need better stands for the stones!!!
Why are Brian's cameras all running interlaced?
wow needed to have de-interlace the video lol
God bless you Brian
4:01 Why no ~ over the N? His name is PEÑA, not PENA.
Some manufacturers can’t add accents
😎 💪 ❤️
Arnold is the god of bodybuilding. While brian is the god of strongman

That fake crowd noise is strange lol
Was just thinking the same haha
Yeah little sound problem at the start
exactly

he is getting old, ain't what he used to be sadly
7:51 Yeah blame it on the tacky 🙄
You can literally see the tacky problems, just say you don’t understand strongman

Lol fake crowd noise, bizarre
Doesn't look hard I figured I could lift at least the first 4 of them . I'm 5'8 165 but I bench 205 but I deadlift 315
Lol
Literally playing a cheering track on repeat, lol. That's kinda cringe. And it's so obvious because the sound bit is so short.
6:25 Your wife doesn’t cook for you?
Why should she, it’s his job not hers. He cooked all his food until he got trifecta sponsorship now he orders it
