Remake Nemesis on Inferno is pure reflex check. Watching your footage just makes me wanna yell "WHAT THE HELL" even more. And Ultimate Abyss... my god, he is just PHASING every second!
Remake nemesis….i remember going for S+ and pruposefully kept one of my 3 saves for just before that fight. Took me more attempts than any boss in another previous title (over 20 i think).
As much maligned as the game is I found the Simmons to be the most final boss fight of a final boss fight in all resident evil game. Had forms, escape sequences, loose ends being tied up, final form changing and puzzle solving. Was exhausting but epic. Re4 Saddler is hard not to cheese with a rocket launcher, never felt like I truly beat him till I did a knife/pistol only run.
@@markavalos5816yeah, I fell in love with the starter handgun on my first playthrough of the remake (laser sight ftw) and always forget to use other guns xD I think the only time I ever use another gun is for the regenerators (usually the smg because it fits with how I organize my inventory the best) do other guns really make the game any easier and I’ve just been missing out?
I had a feeling Eveline would be the easiest. Fighting her is a breeze compared to other bosses in RE7 such as Jack's third fight. Kind of a letdown, especially because of all the stuff that leads up to her fight.
I recently finished an Inferno Difficulty run of Revelations One and my god that fight was hell! It took me an hour plus to beat Ultimate Abyss and died 3 times, which did surprised me as I was expecting to die more than that.
Actually, it doesnt that hard once you know his pattern in Infernal. However, the amount of HP he have is the biggest issue since Infernal mode gives them massive HP boost and 2x damage modifier. In exchange, we have Legendary Parts to compensate the difficulty which making it balanced. For beating Norman, you need Deagle with Lvl 7 Damage with Lvl 5 Capacity and Hydra with Lvl 7 Damage and Auto-Reloader. Hydra used for shooting after his teleportation ended for easier hit on his weak spot while Magnum for follow-up on his core.
The whole thing is save as much ammo for your dtrongest weapons and one with super high stun when he attacks first just dodge and pump all the ammo from your stunning weapon into his back polyp it almost instantly kills him but if it doesnt it sends you into his later phases which suck balls
Watching that Alexia boss fight had me chuckling😂 it reminded me of my little sister getting frustrated because she couldn't hit Alexia with linear launcher😂 she's more of a gamer and I'm more of a watcher. I didn't expect this video to be a trip down to the memory lane. I love it.
revelations was the first re game i watched and played because my mom played it a lot i remember crying, getting scared while watching her play and damn she suffered in the last boss i beat revelations 1 every year now because it's a game i enjoy and has a special place in my heart and i still think it's a great game
Awww it reminds me of when I was a kid. I asked my father to buy me a Gameboy but my mother bought me PSOne instead and we got lots of free games including RE Gun Survivor and she played it A LOT. She played it every night until morning, sometimes with my uncle's ex-wife and I would go to bed because it scared me. I would wake up in the morning and see they're still playing lmao (they played it on repeat) I love that game despite how bad it is. haha
Pro tip to defeat Alexia easily in the final fight: get close to her,aim your Grenade Launcher up and unload your explosive rounds on her upper body. She will quickly detach from her body if you do this then you just need to use the Linear Launcher to finish the fight.
Better Tipp too destroy her and make her Look easy First: 1 Bullet to save Claire with Handgun or Magnum xD then for second Stage use the Explosives Bowgun...15-20 shoots is enough to kill and in the Game you can get enough to save those shoots...Minimun on space,Rest fullhealer....finish
Even easier fire 2 bow gas rounds and then only need 9-12ish magnum rounds. You could also use 14 shotgun shells. Pretty easy as the only other fight you need the gas rounds is tyrant so just save a couple.
nemesis is all about dodging and that thing has and bar at the crazy amount hp easy without rocket launcer super do-able hard mode without rocket. u're going have to get good at shooting and all that b.s for along time because of his stupid hp
Something I discovered with Alexia's Dragonfly Form is that when you damage her enough, she becomes enraged. She moves even faster and her flame spray increases from 4 bursts to 5.
Alexia is harder to kill then nemesis, due to her smaller body , making her harder to hit as she is dodgy as flack, Nemesis is stationary and aiming for his weak spots is easy. his moves being one hit kill or if u use end game items becomes 2 hits kills and that he acutally attacks alot 7X MORE its what really annoying
Actually surprised to see Alexia as one of the hardest bosses! Mother Miranda and Wesker were definitely much harder for me. Makes me feel a little good about myself🤣
Thing with Alexia is that final shot is a lottery, you can get it first try or spend almost an hour trying to land it, and I know cause back when I played the OG I did it in a few minutes but a few years ago when playing the remastered version it was an absolute pain
Code Veronica was undisputedly the hardest resident evil game for nearly 20 years. I’d argue it still is based on the fact that you can’t make it easier. Especially at the time? It was so unforgiving compared to the other 3 games.
Yeah, I don't know. RE3 (1999), all you had to do is run in circles, push in batteries and lure nemesis in front of Sword of Paracelsus. You didn't need any weapons. At least with Eveline and G5 you NEEDED a weapon. Ustanak was extremely easy as well. But seriously OG Nemesis is ranked WAY too high. Ultimate Abyss is just right though. He is an absolute menace on Infernal difficulty.
I would like to mention during the final phase of the Wesker fight in RE5 instead of constantly shooting his weak spots if you're able to get behind him you get a prompt to restrain and can get the "secret" knife kill.
EVEN WITH a handgun , is weasker easily and disappointingly defeat so easily. even Your Ai buddy doesn't even need to help . the disappointment i had with saving all my ammo and i didn't even need it...
@GremoriaParadise We was completely out of ammo during the fight when playing with my friend. We had maybe 10 handgun ammo each and just did the secret kill
I can agree with you mate. I played every main resident evil game this summer on Normal Mode. Except 1 and 6. And can tell you that altought I beated the Boss on revelations after 2 tries. But damn it gave a hell of a stress. It was very stressful than Verdugo in Re4. And the 2nd try on this boss took me long time.
i've totally forgot about the final boss of revelation 1, i remember having bad times with him it took several tries to understand the pattern of his attacks and teleportations
I was curious where Abyss would land on this list. I actually enjoyed re revelations especially the raid mode. Glad to see he was atleast top 3 cuz he was a pain at first
Ive never been so frustrated at a boss fight like the end of RE3 inferno mode. I still have the clip from me beating it and i havent felt that accomplished in a while 😂
Alex Wesker maybe easy to fight but my god she was a tank especially in no mercy difficulty, like bro it takes 35 full charged LV1 dmg sniper shot, 24 LV 3 dmg magnum shot, 214 Lv4 rifle shot, 125 LV 2 DMG handgun shot, 6 fire bottle and 7 explosive bottle just to defeat her on the first boss fight, luckly the second one have Claire with infinite ammo sniper but still that shit is take like 10 minutes to kill her
OG RE 3 is waaay too high. That boss fight it's in the same level as Eveline and Final Birkin. You didn't even need a weapon to defeat him. The list is good, but this one feels like nostalgia bias
I remember playing revelations on the 3DS and two things that made that boss a little easier was the charge shot custom parts attachment, and the quick term which was useful when he came up from behind you. Plus in the final phase when he charges at you, I could tell which one was the fake and real one from the Audio cue because the clones were silent, while the real one has a sound and using the MAOA1 sniper rifle, Windham shotgun and Python Magnum all with the charge, shot custom part, and Damage +5 custom part, it only take me a few minutes to kill him. Also, when you did the most annoying bosses in resident evil, I’m surprised you left out the part that the Skagdead also had the ability to set traps on the ground and if you weren’t paying attention to the ground and shooting the traps, it would give the Skagdead a chance to deal massive damage or he could still do that one hit attack when he saws you in half and on top of the Ooze hordes keep spawning in, i’ve got killed quite a few times because I would be looking away from the normal enemies and one of them would manage to kill me before the boss did. Plus, I remember later in the campaign when you play as Chris and the game thought it would be funny to have you go against two Skagdeads in the casino which was almost like a figure 8 where they could corner you, if one went one way around the slot machines, while the other went the other way and you have limited ammo and have no choice but to kill both of them for the key, but at least they didn’t have normal enemies spawning in during the second fight. The Skagdead is still my most annoying resident evil boss, even though resident evil revelations was the only resonant evil game I’ve played. Plus that hit kill animation. It does definitely give you PTSD, it’s not so much the part getting sawed in half that’s horrifying, it’s the scream that the monster makes as it’s doing it, but at least it doesn’t show your body in half when you die from it, even though when you look at one of the raid mode missions to hunt the Skagdead, it’s clearly implied that that’s what their intention is. That would’ve been way too gory for me. LOL!
The button mashing Shava has to do to stay alive during the Res 4 fight is crazy. I broke controllers as a kid just waiting for my bro to save me from that freaken cliff
I remember buying resident evil revelations on my switch around 7 years ago and I struggled on the ultimate abyss. I tried to beat the boss for like a week and was so happy when he flopped on the ground.
This list has made me remember that my friend and I took (I think) around 14 HOURS to beat Wesker in RE5 on the easiest difficulty I was so close to giving up LMFAO
Keep in mind final stage birkin only actually takes damage from hitting him when the eyeball appears so I other words you can literally wait at the back of train then he'll reveal the eye and unload a few shots and viola dead
In my school vr game, G surge Goalius is technically a resident evil boss, and it's ridiculous (phase 1 is g 4 remake, but has a insta kill tentacle attack that pulls You in and devour you on contact phase 2 is G 3 but with ultimate abyss clone and teleportation and phase 3 is the same as both but has 2 ways of defeat first is as Akaza go to the Nogara and identify her infection once done he stops and stands down but the second way is much harder as Necreos you need to hit him with both the liner lancher and the FINGR but his he can move around like the glitch skibidi toilet from skibidi toilet so make your shots count once done Goalius gets knocked out but theres 2 endings first is Doma revealed to be a traitor to Muzan and apologies to Goalius and found out her daughter infection and the second is after that hit Goalius goes into a coma and is taken by the Pink Triadian to a unknown location)
I agree with the most but for me the easiest was Saddler from RE4, and for me Nemesis in RE3 Remake was easier than in the OG RE3, but I guess everyone has a different experience
I was gonna say, Alex Wesker in Rev 2 is hands down one of the more difficult final bosses since it can be really easy to run out of ammo. I'm not sure what difficulty others played on where she was considered easier than any of the bosses in RE6
@guis28 Yup! Nemesis Inferno is pure cancer. It's that one boss fight where I can't go in it relaxed, and even the most overpowered weapon won't save you. You need the reflexes of a god.
We call him Inferno Nemesis for a reason. Even with all upgrades, dodge manuals, infinite ammo, extra health, he's a massive pain. We're not talking about RE3 remake nemesis, we're talking specifically about Inferno Nemesis.
Alex Wesker reminds me of something from The Evil Within. I have been killed by Nemesis in the remake a few times. He is pretty tough, but it was satisfying to take him down with that railgun.
RE3 Remake Nemesis last fight is the hardest fight I hate that dodge function is far worse then the original because I did a lot of perfect dodges but the game wouldn't register them most of the time.
When I got to Alex's fight I thought something was wrong with my disc 🧐 Like it skipped something. It seemed weird after those segments where she was extremely agile and strong in her weird humanoid form we just found her and for some reason she desperately needs to use that vial that immediately nerfs her 😂 When moments ago she one-shots you outside of the mines. I believe I'm still angered after all the build up she had lol
Alex? Or Alexia? I don't recall Alex ever fighting you outside of her final boss form against Barry, and it's been such a long time since I played code veronica, I don't remember the encounters with Alexia.
I agree, Ultinate Abyss and Nemesis on Infierno mode are real pain. I also place Ultimate Abyss first for the sole reason that even if you are paired with Chris, he's useless and pointless thus adding more to the frustration.
I’m ok with Eveline’s fight (yes even if it was disappointing)because she is a child. I feel like she just tried to be intimidating more than anything. She never reached her max power, I don’t think she knew how to, so she tried to make it up by just being big and scary rather than strong a difficult. Just my opinion
ah yes, re revelations 1 final boss, i remember it took me forever to beat.......only for the game to crash on the final cutscene forcing me to do the whole fight again........only for me to beat it again first try this time.
Alexia was the easiest for me. I practically ran a knife only playthrough of Code Veronica and had massive amounts of ammo and health items by the time i got to her.
I think you overlooked some bosses in the RE Outbreak series, the special tyrant in the scenario Decisions, Decisions is the toughest if you go by solo standards, but as a team it's still challenging specially if you don't aquire the Daylight Serum the Nyx in Files #2 is tough as well
Pretty sure he went with the more main line series only. Because if going with all the spinoffs there are also survivor, dead aim, gaiden, umbrella/darkside cronicles and more.
When I first played Revelations, I just couldn't beat the boss. It's always the 3rd stage that gets me. I can do it pretty alright now, but I'm also now playing on a Switch with a Controller and I do think that helps a lot for me anyway.
11:15 Oh man, I disagree on you putting Sadler remake 4 fight that low. That fight is a completly mess. Long range acid spits, lots of novistadores to distract and damage you and kind of limited resources. Sadler OG is easy. Every single one of his attacks is easy to dodge and you have a sniper rifle to take out his legs. And you can hit him 2 times with the construntion stuff who does major dmg and knocks him down. The remake Sadler is pure a hard boss.
One of mine is Heisenburg on VOS. That still makes my blood boil just thinking about it. I know he's not the final boss but that tank fight almost broke me.
T-Abyss was hard, but in a fun way. Nemesis Remake in Inferno was hard, but in a frustrating way. I would've placed Inferno Nemesis in first place just because of that.
although i love RE:7 and i think it is the best in the franchise, i couldnt agree more with eveline being the easiest, you have the magnum at that point and that makes her a 6 hit kill, and even without the magnum, she is really easy, and i think it is a missed opportunity
Considering how the fight is basically a glorified cutscene I feel that ending on the “goodbye Eveline” with no giant final transformation would’ve been much better. Tonally and thematically emphasizing Eveline’s grim tragedy better fits the story anyway rather than undercutting it with a big monster fight. Maybe beef up the hide and seek section beforehand as well.
I almost punched my laptop trying to defeat nemesis on inferno for the first time, but once i've learned the pattern of his hits, it was easy. Took me almost an hour tho.
I’m pretty suprised that the re5 wesker boss is that high since once he shows his weak spot you can knife him to death which the ai does help with surprisingly (knifing him from both sides kills him instantly from what I remember). Tho the section where Chris and sheva are apart is a bit difficult I do have to say. Plus with the ai any boss fight turns into a nightmare, especially uroboros.
I agree with most of the list (I haven't fought some of these bosses, so I cannot say where they would be in my list), but I would like to mention a few things: Albert Wesker's fight is not only difficult for the reasons you mentioned but also for a few tiny little problems with the fight. The area in which you fight him in the end is VERY small, three of his attacks are instant kills, and there is NO AMMO in the area. This means that, if you ran out of ammo or didn't save up enough ammo for this fight, you will not have enough to defeat him and will have to repeat a chapter to gain some ammo (or sell stuff to buy a rocket launcher and hopefully not miss). There is, however, a trick to beating him without wasting ammo. I have never done it, but it is possible to initiate a QTE sequence where Chris grabs Wesker and you must mash the action button as fast as you can. And I mean FAST. Chris must be fully healed before attempting this, as he will be taking damage during this whole sequence. Regardless, I still cannot see how this fight can be done without some ammo for Sheva. RE3 Remake's Nemesis boss fight is BY FAR much harder than Ultimate Abyss (UA), or as I like to call him, T-Abyss Tyrant. At least, to me he definitely was, and I used the rocket launcher and the defense coins. While it is true that UA's fight is very tough, complex, and much longer, Nemesis's fight requires near perfection for you to even stand a chance. If you get struck by any of his attacks, you will get staggered. If he decides to slam right after, you will get stun locked, often times till death. And that is IF you have the Defense Coins equipped. If not, you die in ONE HIT. His weakspots also have a lot of health, so if you are using a weak weapon like a handgun, you will run out of ammo fast. Regardless, the main issue with this fight is the Perfect Dodges. If you didn't require so many in a row, this fight would be much easier. At least there is a bonus item that helps in achieving these easily, which greatly reduces the difficulty. Still, it's extremely hard even with those bonuses. As for UA... as long as you memorize his pattern, you should be good... until the third phase comes in and he decides to instantly rush at you. Dodging that attack is so inconsistent because it depends on your distance from him. Too close and he will hit you... for around 70% of your health, unless you somehow time your movement to dodge him, which isn't the easiest timing either. Every other attack just requires full focus and good reaction time. No need for absolute timely perfection like for Nemesis. But yes, even so, this would be the 2nd hardest final boss in the Resident Evil franchise that I have seen. And if you are someone with great skill in timing dodges, then this could be your hardest.
I remember beating Nemesis on inferno in the remake, but forgot that we have to save Carlos afterwards, so I thought "oh, it's over" and went to take a piss... just to come back and find a game over screen because Carlos probably died (?) LMAO
As someone who has played every resident evil game and has every achievement in all 16 xbox titles, I can say that your list is surprisingly accurate. However, 2 and 1 should be swapped. Literally all you need to do for the Revelations boss is run up to him, stop, knife him repeatedly, tap up just before he hits you to dodge, and repeat. Nemesis however, requires constant consistent perfect timing, not to mention you'd better hope you have enough ammo. Also a shoutout to the re7 not a hero madhouse boss and the heisenburg re8 village of shadows boss fights for being harder than any of these.
I was about to make the argument for RE3:Remake to be lower, but then I remembered you're ranking them based on how hard they are to beat on the highest difficulty.
players : hey capcom, can we have hard final bosses like in parasite eve series? capcom : uh sure, our games are scary *puts in inanimate blob to unload ammo at until cutscene* players : bruh.
I cant say I agree with the number 1 spot. I honestly really loved this boss fight a breath of fresh air as far as resident evil bosses go it was fun and challenging. RE3 Remake is a huge disappointment but ultimately if you have a dodge mechanic and all you have to do is get gud...im gonna say its not that hard just tedious and time consuming instant kill or not. I Felt that the Mother Miranda Boss Fight Was the most difficult, mostly because it ultimately takes timing, skill, and a little bit of strategy her fight is great and really shows a marked improvement in boss battle mechanics for the series.
Fun fact for Wesker final fight when he is in Uroboros if you use your knife on him you are unkillable because he will try to catch you but Sheva will save you automaticly and for some reason each time you get close to him he try to catch you again so the Ai just gonna save you again
Personally I’m a big fan of the second to last boss being the most difficult and the final “boss” being a cathartic shoot out, especially at the end of a tense/stressful playthrough. It feels more like a reward than a challenge
Hardest boss fight for me was.... Rolling Head from Re3 remake. I must have been crushed by that head 30 consecutive times. The small amount of time it gives you to run in hardcore mode and up is sadistic! No boss has killed me nearly as much as that giant rolling head 😂😢
In the final Brikin fight in RE2R, you don't even need to attack him until his giant eye appears. At which point, you can down him with a few pistol rounds.
Years ago I tried to beat Lord Saddler in the original RE4 without using the Special Rocket Launcher, both on Normal and Professional difficulty but I only managed to pull that off on Normal. On Professional I kept unloading my Magnum on Saddler and was also running low on ammo, and he kept attacking me too until I was eventually dead. I also tried to beat RE Zero on Hard difficulty which was just extremely hard with such little ammo and healing items... But I actually managed to make it to the final boss Queen Leech where I would meet my end. I still haven't managed to beat Queen Leech on Hard because my health is already on Danger and I'm out of healing items so I didn't bother trying any more.
To give extra credit, Nemesis in 3 Remake on Inferno has one or two new moves compared to the other difficulties. So even with the Infinite Rocket Launcher, have fun learning new things when anything he can do means death
So, the Wesker fight is a lot easier than people think, and I'm constantly shocked that more people don't know about this. But when you're facing Wesker on the small island, it's actually really easy to get behind him as a lot of his attacks have a TON of end lag. When he raises his hand up, just hit the prompt to dodge and sneak a shot into his back. You don't even need to use a strong weapon, ANY weapon will cause him to expose his frontal weak point. Wesker actually really isn't all that dangerous up close, despite what his "flailing attack" would have you believe. As long as you stay on the center of the island, he won't use it. Here's where you finish him: After he does his tentacle tornado attack (which WILL 1shot you if you're standing next to him, run away from him during the build up. He only EVER does this attack after you hit him in the back), shoot him in the chest with a Magnum or Rifle shot. When he staggers, if you're playing as Chris, you can initiate a QTE where you restrain Wesker while Sheva stabs him over and over. This QTE will ALWAYS kill him if you can mash fast enough (if you don't mash fast enough, you'll start taking damage from Uroboros and you can enter Dying status from this). It's by far the easiest way to beat him without resorting to a Rocket Launcher. This means you only really have to get behind him one time. If anything, the hardest thing about the Wesker fight is playing as Sheva and getting tired from mashing to recover from the rock bridge collapsing under you, because you can (and WILL) die if you don't succeed, and that mashing section is like playing Guitar Hero on Expert.
With RE2R and the OG having 2 additional Final bosses in the A Scenarios I'd consider them aswell. OG Super Tyrant was one of the hardest challenges in the PS Resident Evil Era, while Super Tyrant in the Remake was also a fairly challenging boss. I'd rate both of them easily top 5.
I don't agree with Remake Nemesis being n°2, that thing is only a threat on the hardest difficulty modes (because any hit is a guaranteed death) but otherwise, I never felt in danger.
I think it's a list of difficulty, not threat levels lol. All of us agree it's a very hard and frustrating fight, not necessarily fun or hard in the good way, just hard and frustrating. I would've put it on the first place, since T-Abyss is at least balanced and fair.
id love to see you redo this including dlc, side games, and the final bosses of different paths of games like rank the side a and side b bosses for resident evil 2
Played RE0, 1 (GC), 2 (n64), 3 (Dreamcast - only game I didn’t complete - stressed me out so much when younger lol), RE4 (GC), both chronicles on Wii, RE3 and RE4 remakes. Still need to play RE2 remake and both revelations games. Number 2 is spot on and I’ll have to experience the hell of number 1 at some point.
I actually died to Evelyn simply because when I tackle boss fights I observe first before shooting to try to sus out the weak spots and save ammo but the game punished me for doing this.
normally that's a good tactic with most regular bosses, the final bosses in survival horror games are mostly for you to unload all the ammo you saved lol.
I think the problem became when RE made a switch to over the shoulder. It just changes the game mechanics that bosses are nothing like the original games on n64, Dreamcast and GameCube. Being said it’s a cake walk compared to Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 - I was the 23rd in the world to get the platinum trophy but there were 10 of us working together (from USA, Japan and me from the UK).
@@dantevic Problem because once it’s sticks it never goes to another direction. That’s the problem. At least with RE7 they tried doing something different with first person (wasn’t my cup of tea) but they gave it a shot. I still liked the lore additions to the universe. RE4 - I said n64, Dreamcast and GameCube. Did you even read my comment???
@@Jonathan-ShadowI don't get what you're saying. there are 8 entries with static camera angles (including outbreak and RE1 remake), 8 entries with over-the-shoulder (including remakes, probably a lot more including spin-offs), and old games also tried first-person on spinoffs. I have two questions. 1 - What does Ninja Gaiden have to do with any of the RE games? 2 - What is the "other direction" you want the RE games to go to assuming they never went over-the-shoulder? I could assume that the other direction you want them to take is more action-platformer, just because you mentioned ninja gaiden, and an action-platformer resident evil game already exists too, except it goes by the name of devil may cry 1. But that's just an assumption, please answer the questions.
@@TheDrsalvation I mentioned Ninja Gaiden due to the difficulty aspect only (nothing else). It’s fair on the highest difficulty as long as you’ve mastered weapons and how they work and enemy patterns. Just as this is a topic about easy/hard and that series is the hardest thing gameplay wise I’ve experienced. I don’t have a massive issue with over the shoulder. I have a huge issue with when games are steamlined to “western” culture - what it is now which is a hell hole. Given that remakes sell this is all they are going to work on and put the most effort in. No more risks being taken. The fact you mention DMC is a good thing - the scrapped RE4 became DMC and DMC5 is actually amazing - over the top, cringe writing that somehow isn’t cringe, funny moments, it’s all there. As opposed to RE4 remake which is good but there is no charm, camp, etc. Resident Evil was always about the overall tone being very morbid and no escape but it had the camp and funny moments to lighten things up a bit (more so because in Japan games had to go through government and censors so it couldn’t go all full out). Having played RE4 remake and RE3 remake. RE1 remake is still the best one. RE5 and RE6 are just fun with another person. The over the top moments of 5 with a partner is an experience that doesn’t match being on your own. Similar to 6. Essentially the “you innovation” and risk will disappear. Always remakes, always same formula - until the sales drop and something happens. The variety in the PS2 era was endless - RE4, God of War, MGS2, Parappa The Rapper 2, FFX, SSX 3, etc. now it’s just AAA or indie.
@@Jonathan-ShadowI see where you're coming from, but I think there's a different place to discuss general gaming. It feels weird talking about variety in games when discussing specifically resident evil lol. And yeah, I agree that most games are playing it safe lately, I just don't think resident evil games themselves have any need to switch direction drastically, their current play style fits the narrative and atmosphere, the fact that devil may cry exists is because it's far too different in terms of style to be an acceptable resident evil game. But again, if we're talking games in general, I agree with you
TH-camrs always include Revelations 1 and 2 but refuse to include every other spin-off, and the best part is that the Outbreak games and Operation Raccoon City have final bosses that are way harder than Norman
@@henryford2599 Course it is, It's the hardest difficulty in the game. Now apply that same difficulty to every main title then read your own comment again.

The final boss of Resident Evil 1 Directors Cut for Playstation 1 still had a low chance of loosing even after I was deep into speedrun practice for that game. So I can see why that fight is given credibility. For reference I am referring to having to fight both versions of the boss not just the first.
Revelations isn't even that bad until you get to Ultimate Abyss. Then it's a nightmare. I knew it was going to be when I walked down that hall and heard someone quoting The Divine Comedy 😂 I've played a lot of Resident Evil, and this sucker made me seethe with rage more than any other (which may or may not be due to the awful controls in this game)
The wesker phase 3 fight is not hard all you have to do is wait until he does his spinning tornado attack and get behind him. Then hit your interact button which will grab him. Then sheva will then start stabbing his heart. As long as you don't fail your QTE its an instant ko.
FUCK ULTIMATE ABYSS! The only strategy I found that work is to just plant my back into the corner and start blasting. Then keep blasting till he's finally down.
I like the Mother Miranda final boss fight because it's not a massive wall of eyes and meat like most of the RE bosses in general

And Ultimate Abyss... my god, he is just PHASING every second!
Lmfao they both are a huge pain. I totally understand if someone sees nemesis as harder though. Both are no joke lol
Remake nemesis….i remember going for S+ and pruposefully kept one of my 3 saves for just before that fight. Took me more attempts than any boss in another previous title (over 20 i think).
@@jlb9577I hate fun so I tried to do inferno saveless meaning that if I died it was permadeath and I died twice to final nemesis. Never again
Good to know it's one of the hardest indeed.. I took hours to kill him on inferno, several!! Good to know I wasn't the only one xD...
Jill has it rough.

Knife and pistol runs are fun and difficult sometimes 😂
Ngl the Albert wesker fight was hard because I had absolutely no ammo so I was stuck using the stun baton which took forever
@@void4001 oh yeah the street sweeper, Chicago typewriter, and handcannon are a blast to use!
The rock was the real final boss in RE5
A rock was also Moira's final boss in Revelations 2.
The real rock was the boulders we punched along the way
Last time I was this early to a video Ethan Winters was mold free. 😂
Lol legend!
Deep cut man, deep cut
Good one😂
So what you are saying is you were so early you predate the Resident Evil 7 storyline since he was already infected from the beginning of the story.
And had both hands and all 10 fingers still attached
I had a feeling Eveline would be the easiest. Fighting her is a breeze compared to other bosses in RE7 such as Jack's third fight.
Kind of a letdown, especially because of all the stuff that leads up to her fight.
re7 is a joke from beggining to end..

Hydra used for shooting after his teleportation ended for easier hit on his weak spot while Magnum for follow-up on his core.
congrats!! I played revelations one some time ago, and the final boss is as hard as you say, it took me like 4 hours to defeat him.
It took me a long time to do on EASY, my god, I salute you.
The whole thing is save as much ammo for your dtrongest weapons and one with super high stun when he attacks first just dodge and pump all the ammo from your stunning weapon into his back polyp it almost instantly kills him but if it doesnt it sends you into his later phases which suck balls
And if you think that was hard, there's an even tougher version of the boss in the assault mission mode. "The Ghost Ship".
Watching that Alexia boss fight had me chuckling😂 it reminded me of my little sister getting frustrated because she couldn't hit Alexia with linear launcher😂 she's more of a gamer and I'm more of a watcher. I didn't expect this video to be a trip down to the memory lane. I love it.
revelations was the first re game i watched and played because my mom played it a lot
i remember crying, getting scared while watching her play
and damn she suffered in the last boss
i beat revelations 1 every year now because it's a game i enjoy and has a special place in my heart and i still think it's a great game
Your mom is a gamer؟that must be pretty cool
Awww it reminds me of when I was a kid. I asked my father to buy me a Gameboy but my mother bought me PSOne instead and we got lots of free games including RE Gun Survivor and she played it A LOT. She played it every night until morning, sometimes with my uncle's ex-wife and I would go to bed because it scared me. I would wake up in the morning and see they're still playing lmao (they played it on repeat) I love that game despite how bad it is. haha
My girlfriend's first RE was Rev1 and she loves it to death. Hell, we literally met through it lmao

Your mom plays resident evil? She must be one of those cool moms
@@bahamutslayer8168I prefer the machine guns because you can fire at the worm things she sends out too.
And the best way for that is try 2 shots and then run, try 2 more and run. It can be tedious but it works out best imo.
All good strats :) i prefer Bowgun cause you shoot this fast...with explosive a big dmg Dealer and you can have 6 big healer with you xD
OMG I cud not agree more on the #1 spot, I was shocked how many times I had to repeat this fight, and actually had to memorize its pattern perfectly!
nemesis is all about dodging and that thing has and bar at the crazy amount hp
easy without rocket launcer super do-able
hard mode without rocket. u're going have to get good at shooting and all that b.s for along time because of his stupid hp
Revelations has easy normal enemies but the bosses were always challenging
Something I discovered with Alexia's Dragonfly Form is that when you damage her enough, she becomes enraged. She moves even faster and her flame spray increases from 4 bursts to 5.
Can confirm altho I think it's more to do with remaining time going down than damage her enough.
I had no idea. I feel a bit proud too 😅
Thing with Alexia is that final shot is a lottery, you can get it first try or spend almost an hour trying to land it, and I know cause back when I played the OG I did it in a few minutes but a few years ago when playing the remastered version it was an absolute pain
Agreed! Had a quick look for this comment as RE3 has really easy boss
I was also thinking OG fight wasn't that hard but since it's been over 20 years since I played the game I thought maybe I wasn't remembering it well
Also there's another variant of him, darker and dangerous.
Cmon! Re3 og nemesis in number 4? It was a walk in the park!
i was just thinking that
Edgelords alert 🚨🚨😂
I would like to mention during the final phase of the Wesker fight in RE5 instead of constantly shooting his weak spots if you're able to get behind him you get a prompt to restrain and can get the "secret" knife kill.
EVEN WITH a handgun , is weasker easily and disappointingly defeat so easily. even Your Ai buddy doesn't even need to help . the disappointment i had with saving all my ammo and i didn't even need it...
@GremoriaParadise We was completely out of ammo during the fight when playing with my friend. We had maybe 10 handgun ammo each and just did the secret kill
Revelations 1 final boss was always the most difficult for me. Interested to see where it lands on this list.
Yeah i die 2 time fighting him
I can agree with you mate.
Glad to see he was atleast top 3 cuz he was a pain at first
Absolutely lol
It's interesting that the 2 series that mainly uses big-ass eyes as week spots are Resident Evil and Kirby.
Ive never been so frustrated at a boss fight like the end of RE3 inferno mode. I still have the clip from me beating it and i havent felt that accomplished in a while 😂
For real
The dodging mechanism is so difficult that it took me 35 tries to beat it in inferno mode with a controller ☠️
3 tries with keyboard
Saddler should have been at the bottom of the list for easiest. I mean...buy a rocket and the fight is over before it can begins
That's the "coward's way out" if you ask me, the real fight begins without using rocket launcher(s) in any main title that has access to it.
Even if you're tight on ammo for the final Birkin fight, it doesn't take much to put him down. You just have to wait for the eyeball before unloading.
Also, wait for crosshairs to close in on certain weapons.
Also, if you're brave enough, all you need is the knife they give you right before the boss
The knive can finish him
Alex Wesker maybe easy to fight but my god she was a tank especially in no mercy difficulty, like bro it takes 35 full charged LV1 dmg sniper shot, 24 LV 3 dmg magnum shot, 214 Lv4 rifle shot, 125 LV 2 DMG handgun shot, 6 fire bottle and 7 explosive bottle just to defeat her on the first boss fight, luckly the second one have Claire with infinite ammo sniper but still that shit is take like 10 minutes to kill her
OG RE 3 is waaay too high. That boss fight it's in the same level as Eveline and Final Birkin. You didn't even need a weapon to defeat him. The list is good, but this one feels like nostalgia bias
Agree, it irritates me how he fought the boss in this video. xD
LOL!
Mother Miranda on Village of Shadows or Knife Only was a force to be reckoned with. A VERY fun and satisfying boss fight
Not fully true. He takes damage but the damage is reduced until the eyeball shows up.
Viola also dies? 😱 😂
*Without spoiling I agree 100% with your top pick. Took me over 45 minutes to take him out on the highest difficulty.*
Felt like I was watching a dark souls boss fight seeing you fight nemesis on Re3 remastered
I agree with the most but for me the easiest was Saddler from RE4, and for me Nemesis in RE3 Remake was easier than in the OG RE3, but I guess everyone has a different experience
Nemesis in Remake in easy in every difficult but Inferno, thats the problem with this boss
Try Nemesis on Inferno mode
Alex Wesker reminds me of something from The Evil Within. I have been killed by Nemesis in the remake a few times. He is pretty tough, but it was satisfying to take him down with that railgun.
RE3 Remake Nemesis last fight is the hardest fight I hate that dodge function is far worse then the original because I did a lot of perfect dodges but the game wouldn't register them most of the time.
og nemesis is really not that hard you can't be serious when putting him at top 4
his at least top 10 but not more then that
RE3 inferno final boss, that dodge window is so small, and if you miss time it, it’s over.
That’s an achievement!! I would probably have had a meltdown after the game crashing 😂
Alexia was the easiest for me. I practically ran a knife only playthrough of Code Veronica and had massive amounts of ammo and health items by the time i got to her.
I think you overlooked some bosses in the RE Outbreak series, the special tyrant in the scenario Decisions, Decisions is the toughest if you go by solo standards, but as a team it's still challenging specially if you don't aquire the Daylight Serum
the Nyx in Files #2 is tough as well
Pretty sure he went with the more main line series only.

Oh man, I disagree on you putting Sadler remake 4 fight that low.
Fuck yeah. I hated that fight. It took me days to beat him. Then mother took maybe an hour or so.
What was that boss fight so hard?
@ryanrose3510 he was fast had a lot of hard to dodge attacks and you couldn't heal so you had one health bar for the first half of the fight.
@@5tol3n Twelve tries and almost breaking my disc in half for me. I had to step away for a day to collect myself from having to buy another copy.🥴
@@dantevic thanks for sharing. I watched a regular playthrough on Normal so it makes sense, they probably edited out all of the beat downs.
It's even easier than that if you save some remote bombs and spam them on the floor, she'll die immediately
When I was 11, Ultimate Abyss was a nightmare for me, it was a tough fight and frustrating. In Revelations 1 & 2 many bosses were difficult to fight.
Agreed except Alex Wesker lol
I almost punched my laptop trying to defeat nemesis on inferno for the first time, but once i've learned the pattern of his hits, it was easy. Took me almost an hour tho.
You really have to put Albert Wesker on 5, because he's the boss of RE5, nice.

Lol welcome man thanks for the sun!
Omg I love fighting ultimate abyss,I love reveletions 1❤
My RE6 bosses based on difficulty is Carla, Ustanak (the plane crash fight can be a breeze if you drop the explosive tanks), Haos, Simmons
I was hoping you'd also bring up the spin off final bosses, like Nyx, Morpheus, etc.
I agree with most of the list (I haven't fought some of these bosses, so I cannot say where they would be in my list), but I would like to mention a few things:
Albert Wesker's fight is not only difficult for the reasons you mentioned but also for a few tiny little problems with the fight.
This video makes me very happy I saved two RPGs for bro at the end
I remember beating Nemesis on inferno in the remake, but forgot that we have to save Carlos afterwards, so I thought "oh, it's over" and went to take a piss... just to come back and find a game over screen because Carlos probably died (?) LMAO
Re3 Remake is the only 1 I haven't beat on the hardest difficulty all cause of Nemesis at the end. 😂
The flying enemies in RE4 are called Novistadores.
I was about to make the argument for RE3:Remake to be lower, but then I remembered you're ranking them based on how hard they are to beat on the highest difficulty.
players : hey capcom, can we have hard final bosses like in parasite eve series?
capcom : uh sure, our games are scary *puts in inanimate blob to unload ammo at until cutscene*
players : bruh.
I Felt that the Mother Miranda Boss Fight Was the most difficult, mostly because it ultimately takes timing, skill, and a little bit of strategy her fight is great and really shows a marked improvement in boss battle mechanics for the series.
wesker can die easly after hitting him from behind go and press squer from behind and ull win easly
final wesker is pussy compared to the 7 minute wesker 😂😂😂
Si alexia Ashford e Albert Wesker mi hanno datto del filo da torciere😂
Fun fact for Wesker final fight when he is in Uroboros if you use your knife on him you are unkillable because he will try to catch you but Sheva will save you automaticly and for some reason each time you get close to him he try to catch you again so the Ai just gonna save you again
Personally I’m a big fan of the second to last boss being the most difficult and the final “boss” being a cathartic shoot out, especially at the end of a tense/stressful playthrough. It feels more like a reward than a challenge
Bro when i was Young i could not defeat wesker fir years bc the quicktime events between phases were too strong
I’m stuck on Super Tyrant now. I’m not sure I have enough health to wait the timer out to beat the game, and that makes me sad AF.
Nemesis on Re3 remake inferno is infuriating. The only way i could beat him was with a keyboard and mouse.
I came here with the thought that Norman better be #1 and I wasn’t disappointed lol.
lmao happy to not disappoint!
I would've put it on the first place, since T-Abyss is at least balanced and fair.
id love to see you redo this including dlc, side games, and the final bosses of different paths of games like rank the side a and side b bosses for resident evil 2
really nice to see Alexia finally getting her flowers as one of the harder bosses from the RE franchise
Alexia using 10 explosive bowgun rounds on stage 2 goes right to stage 3 fast and easy
Resident evil revelations mentioned 🗣 🔥
Played RE0, 1 (GC), 2 (n64), 3 (Dreamcast - only game I didn’t complete - stressed me out so much when younger lol), RE4 (GC), both chronicles on Wii, RE3 and RE4 remakes.
Still need to play RE2 remake and both revelations games. Number 2 is spot on and I’ll have to experience the hell of number 1 at some point.
Lol number one is dreadful 😭
@@NerdSpaceGames I’ll tell you how bad it is when I do in 2024 haha
I actually died to Evelyn simply because when I tackle boss fights I observe first before shooting to try to sus out the weak spots and save ammo but the game punished me for doing this.
normally that's a good tactic with most regular bosses, the final bosses in survival horror games are mostly for you to unload all the ammo you saved lol.
@@TheDrsalvation True
Resident Evil 3 remake final boss was a real pain in the ass even with infinite ammunition
Why was that a problem. Also re4 originally came out on the GameCube.
Ultimate Abyss and Alexia Ashford definitely 2 of the hardest RE final bosses.
Yeah they both are major pains lol
inferno nemesis is harder for me
@@henryford2599 Course it is, It's the hardest difficulty in the game. Now apply that same difficulty to every main title then read your own comment again.
Shoutout to everyone who beat Revelations 1 on Infernal difficulty back on the 3DS. 😎
And I also want to add this about you cause you’re one of the few creators who are giving good vibes always and that’s always a good thing. It’s a fact so I’m sending you love and know you’re content is great 🎉🎉
awww this is like the nicest thing anybody has ever said about my channel. Thank you so much!! Yeah, I try to be as unbiased as possible with my list and just focus on the facts, but I mainly try to just have fun with it all. I love games, especially horror games, and getting to share that love and passion with a bunch of fans online is a dream come true. So thank you so much for those kind words my friend!
@@NerdSpaceGameshehe thank you idk why but I’m in my congenial era and even if I’m not a big fan of your content or I’m not following you for a very long time, you know i just try to think how I would want someone else to interact with me and we have enough negativity already within this fandom so we need unbiased people because no matter what we like and who we prefer we shouldn’t attack anyone else or trying to cement our words like they’re the only right words 😅 I literally had someone telling me re4 was the turning point and re5 is a trash bag when I just said in a comment that it’s very important for the lore 😂 literally laughing haha
Re2 remake stage 5 Birkin is invulnerable until his eye appears from his mouth. Save your ammo.
Last boss is truly pain in my ass
I died with him 78 for the hard
The wesker phase 3 fight is not hard all you have to do is wait until he does his spinning tornado attack and get behind him. Then hit your interact button which will grab him. Then sheva will then start stabbing his heart. As long as you don't fail your QTE its an instant ko.
Nemesis from renake final boss is EASILY the hardest boss in resident evil!
FUCK ULTIMATE ABYSS! The only strategy I found that work is to just plant my back into the corner and start blasting. Then keep blasting till he's finally down.
