I have a 2018 FXT Touring, I installed the STI mid pipe and the SubiSpeed muffler deletes. I couldn't be any happier, great tone, no drone and shed weight.. I have had WASP State Police and county behind me and no issues, it really is so low tone, and getting into the boost it sounds good.
After owning the Q300 for 4.5 years on my 17' FXT, I finally removed mine since it droned so much at low RPM. I think the internals finally broke in. It sounded nice but put my ass to sleep driving home to work everyday.
I installed Nameless cat back on my '18 FXT. it is the perfect balance. Sounds great in boost and 3k rpm+. Loud enough. I also Can still have a conversation in car without yelling. P.S. got to keep my dual exhaust :)
@@vincentgibson3049 I'm coming into this from a stage 2 Focus ST. Believe me, I'm well aware of the handling differences. I have kids, I ski, and the roads where I live are shit, so for me this is much nicer to live with on a daily basis. I'd love an Audi SQ5, but like I said, I have kids.
So that new exhaust should have come with gaskets and hardware and it did not? did you call who you purchased from? you should have been compensated for this..
I'm still torn, these look amazing didn't realize they were that heavy though. and I did expect a little more noise. may go with the n1, thought I was sold on the q300 thanks for the vid

Tomei dual sounds Louder and better without so much raspy, Remark also makes good exhaust outlets 🍀
It’s always hard to tell on videos but this is definitely louder than my HKS.
I love the quietness of my stock cat back. All the power n no noise hehehehe
I have the q300 on my forester, love the tone. Its not to raspy and there is next to no drone while cruizing.
I put the q300 on my forester xt couple months ago. I love it.
It gets much louder as it runs in. But overall yeah it feels more refined and sleeper =)
How long does it take to get louder? I installed mine about 2 weeks ago and I love it very quite and perfect sounds for a family daily driver suv

I find it to be extremely droney on cold start then it's fine. Hopefully winter time doesn't have it rattling my skull
@@TheHumanCarJack it's only loud during cold starts. When the engine is warm the sound tones down a lot.

Check out the R400 exhaust. Its the middle ground option between the Q300 and N1!
It's my ideal exhaust sound but I dont want to have to cut into the bumper to make the quad tips fit

A bit louder than the deletes, titiamium and straight flow design seems to make it loud. Catless invidia J pipe and tomei was sold
