- Summer Bass Fishing at my favorite Reservoir, Loch Raven!!! Ultra clear, super deep, and full of shad, the bass here are FIESTY and always have a fat belly full of baitfish. The tricky part is locating the schools, but with a rental boat and 6 hours to fish, there's plenty of time for me to figure out a pattern and rip some lips!

You asked for feedback and comments, so I will give some.
It is great that you show exactly where you fished and why. I don't mean you have to give up your secret fishing spots. But most TH-cam fishermen only talk about the lures, rigs, rods, etc. In this video, when you showed and discussed the map, cement posts, depths, hump, edges, fishing conditions, temperature, heat index, etc. and explained all of that, it is interesting and very helpful (particularly to younger and less experienced fisherman). It helps people to find where the fish are, which is most of the problem for most fisherman. Most TH-cam fishermen just mention those things very briefly (if at all), then try to sell you on a new lure . . .
Also, it is great when you slow down and show the details of the condition of the fish you catch (like at 1:20, 4:10, and 12:15). If you could show/discuss even more of these things (or even just general species specific characteristics), it would be even better. Those are things that are often unique to that particular fish. Again, it is very interesting and educational, and most other TH-cam fishermen do very little if any of this.
Please continue to do more of all of this.

Hey Mike,senior fan here,admire your skills.the best fishermen pass along knowledge& that's you.Salt water shore casting is much easier than trophy bass fishing ,just use the longest pole u can find 12ft& up for baitcasting, 8 to 10 for spinning all medium flex for distance,give it a shot,you got all the game you need,already

1rod your videos have felt like a revival lately. I enjoy watching you bank fish and completing challenges by the skin of your teeth like the mtb slam you did recently. It also always blows my mind seeing you miss or see a bite then recast and catch that fish. I feel like that's something that never happens to me or my friends and it's such an incredible skill.
Since you seem to be able to pull fish out of anything I think it would be cool to see you do a video or series on catching fish out of the most improbable places. Truly push the envelope of where you can pull fish out of. Thanks for entertaining us.

I wish you would put up a video of how you rig up your soft baits. I am new to bass fishing and I caught my berry first 2 largies on Friday off of a bridge using a senko wacky and a Carolina rig.i didn't rig them and infact a random guy I met on the bridge did it . I have flukes but I don't know how to rig them . And keep up the good vids man
