      If you presoak the nuts, seeds, legumes and grains the amount of acid in them will be little. our enzymes easily break them down and our body kan utilize the minerals and vitamins.

    Beans are fine if you cook them properly. You need to add seaweed, or my great-grandma’s trick was to add 1-2 tablespoons of apple cider vinegar while they’re cooking. Some beans have a lot of calcium, like Adzuki beans. The seaweed or ACV breaks down the phytic acid.

It’s so micro between her right of her back teeth. She’s not in pain and we are flossing and brushing more and don’t drink or brush with fluoride water. We brush with Fiji bottled water and use fluoride free toothpaste. We use vitamin d3-k2 liquid and rinse with hydrogen peroxide with organic orange oil for flavor. We also stay away from sugar as best we can.

      I am with you 1000%. I had a horrible thing said to me by a dentist when I was a child. My teeth were beautiful, white, clean and cavity free. He said, after the exam, he was going to hurt me if I had to come back to him for tooth care. He was 'so-called joking" but as a kid, you take that very seriously. He passed away, and his son took over his practice. His office was in my neighborhood and I had times that I had a toothache out of this world but even at the suggestion of friends, I would not go to see his son! Another dentist told me I should remove a perfectly healthy wisdom too because it might get infected. What kind of twisted thinking is that? Why not cut off my head to prevent from getting a headache. You have to be so careful with these "professional."
      All the best to you and your daughter who is 4 years older since your post!😄👍

    if you soak the seeds (almonds, hazelnuts, walnuts...) overnight,

    disappears which makes the nutrients of the seeds much more bioavailable.

    Wonderful video with good advice like getting sun, salmon, eggs, and avocados. No coffee, no dairy, no alcohol, no sugar, no pasta, no bread, and no energy drinks. No wonder I have had issues with cavities. Coffee keeps me awake enough to do my job and white wine makes me tolerate life in my spare time. At least now I know what I should aim for in a perfect life - the only question is if I still want to live it 😊 Thank you so much for sharing your insights! This was absolutely fantastic!!! I first learned of healing cavities in 2009. I loosely started implementing the diet, subtracting and adding what was needed. In 2013 I started buying books on the subject from Robert O. Nara, Weston A. Price, Sally Fallon, & Ramil Nigel. I really started implementing all the knowledge in 2013. I've told everyone I know about it (all of them are like, What!? Some are in disbelief and can't get enough, and others, don't believe, so I just tell them to do their own research and look it up). This is such a good video! You explained very well, and even gave me some tips I haven't implemented yet! Thank you so much for this! This is the first video I've seen from you. These are some of the most powerful natural chemicals you can consume. Dr. Hall! Thank you for this. I have always had cavities despite brushing and flossing (I do enjoy sweet things but I regularly floss and brush). I have always had stress and anxiety which has caused relentless stomach issues. I believe that my stomach issues have a higher chance of causing cavities over the occasional sweet tooth I get. I’ll definitely focus on these foods. I’m TRAUMATIZED of the dentist from my childhood (a low-income dentist with crappy conditions and during the military I had a horrible experience as well). I don’t want to keep having to go in. 😌

    I have found through my issues with my teeth is that oral health begins in the gut. I found that I had a severe gluten sensitivity. I had to have several teeth extracted but the few I had that were iffy have been on the mend without dental intervention. I've had no pain, my gums have stopped bleeding and my gums are regenerating.

    Wish we had a dentist like you in UK. Not many holistic dentists here.

    • @lydialaxy4841
      @lydialaxy4841 ปีที่แล้ว

      I ve got one in UK near by..however he removed all my amalgam fillings in one go without telling me about detoxing and doing it slowly,which would have been better and then he didnt get on with replacing the temporary crowns he put on top by permanent ones for years afterwards. Eventually i had toothache and when after an agonizing week I finally got an appointment with him he threw his hand up in the air told me I needed a rootcanal filling and that he doesnt do them. Not warning me about the risks of rootcanal fillings. As a so called holistic dentist he shouldnt even have advised such a procedure. Needless to say I had endless problems with that tooth afterward had to have it extracted eventually and a heathy tooth next to it because it affected the nerve underneath so much that the pain was simply unbearable. So screen your holistic dentis very very carefully possibly better to find one abroad and pay for a flight to avoid all these issues with misnomed UK holistic dentists.And as a side note he had also signed me up for an insurance that covered emergency dental care...only thing is at that time emergency dental services were not existent in the UK ,only on the NHS which means ab's until the weekend is over.

    This was really clear and helpful for someone not on the inside to comprehend! Thank you! Healthy eating seems so complex sometimes... eating for dental health can seem different than eating for other physical needs.
    I have a quick question - I know that natural and refined sugars fight remineralization, do 'sugar free' compounds have the same effect ? I'm assuming, just curious. I try to limit sugar intake of many kinds of sugar, but esp sugar free ones, but some of them are in ionic supplements to flavor them... (would prefer unflavored...)

    I just across this video! Great information. I stopped going to dentists about 7 years ago, because they know nothing about nutrition/real health, only interested in "treatments", i.e. invasive treatment that they can earn money off of, but unfortunately most know nothing this woman is sharing - or are not willing to share this information if they know it. As a result of becoming interested in nutrition about 8 years ago and as a result of no longer going to or listening to dentists my teeth and gum health is now near perfect. I no longer have chipped teeth, receeding gums, bleeding gums, bad breath or nerve sensitivity. I don't brush my teeth more than once a day. I never believed their "swill your mouth with nerve gas" stories and avoided all x-rays. Fortunately I have no fillings, because my mother never gave me or my brothers sweets when we were young, just packed lunches with vegetables rather than junk...she felt it was shameful to have children who had fillings.... thanks to her I never have had:=)

    Hi Dr. Rachel,
    I really like this viedo very much, it has lot of useful knowledge I never learnt from other dentist. I really appreciate you taking your time and sharing this to people. About the food you are talking about avoiding grains, breads, potatos...etc, one question keeping in my mind is, I am Asian, rice is our daily main food, I wonder if I miss my main food, do you have any other suggestion that I should take as main food? As I try to avoiding grains 2 weeks, and my weight dropped about 1-1.5kgs, and I don't really want to drop my weight. Hope you can give me some suggestions. Thanks.

    Anyone else overwhelmed by all these amazing informative videos then get stuck by the conflicts. Others (like Dr. Ellie) will say milk and cheese are best right after meals like xylitol. Gut health dietitians recommend beans, legumes, almonds, and sprouted grains are all great for gut health and excellent source of fiber but bad for teeth? It seems like there's no win.

    • @EvolveDentalHealing
      @EvolveDentalHealing  หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      there is no one size fits all and yes unfortunately that means there can be conflicting approaches. Some like Dr Ellie only consider your teeth, however, I consider the whole body and what will be beneficial to your overall wellness. It is for you to then discern what works for you and what fits with how you want to approach your health and lifestyle.

    Thanks so much for this! Can you explain why you say decay within the dentin needs filling? I understand from Judene Benoit’s book that it is possible to remineralise moderate cavities in some circumstances and that she has even seen very severe decay arrest. What is your experience?

    • @artbyrobot1
      @artbyrobot1 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      perhaps it has to do with food then being able to go through the hole that leads to the dentin and rot there? No diet can fix that I suppose

    • @thegram9207
      @thegram9207 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      If you can keep a cavity clean you can ARREST the progression . If bacteria are in the dentine canals you can't clean and you need a filling. I do not believe remineralisation is realistic if a defect visible/big. BUT progression can be stopped as I said.

    I think your videos give great information and it is true that refined sugars and simple starches have detrimental effects, but the balance of evidence shows that whole grains, legumes, beans and nuts are extremely health promoting, and it's a mistake to tell people to avoid these foods. Properly cooking beans and grains/rice by presoaking, fermenting and sprouting significantly decreases the phytic acid content and improves absorption (see study: Reduction of phytic acid and enhancement of bioavailable micronutrients in food grains). Also, you discuss avoidance of acidic foods, but you don't mention that animal products are all acidic: meat, poultry, fish, dairy and eggs are all acidic.
